I was surprised to see that Real Madrid could not score so many goals against Mallorca, and even struggled to score the winning goal in the 78th minute. I didn't expect that Mallorca would be a tough opponent for Real Madrid at Santiago Bernabeu. With the 1-0 win against Mallorca today, Real Madrid is topping Girona with 3 points, but if Girona wins against Atletico Madrid they will be on equal points with Real Madrid.

I was only checking scores of the game since I had a real Madrid selection on about 2 acca slips only to see a goalless first half which prompted me to watch the game myself. The second half was interesting even though Real Madrid struggle very hard to get a goal and it was forthcoming before that Rudiger nodding from Modric's delivery.

That aside, seeing Girona leading Athletico Madrid is something I didn't expect. If they can go on to win, it will be a good feat

Truly, this was an impressive match from both teams. Girona led the first half with a 3-2 win over visiting team Atletico Madrid, but Atletico Madrid could have equalized the score at 3-3 had VAR and the referee not ruled it out. The second half is likely to be more intense because Atletico Madrid doesn't want to lose. Morata really looked brilliant with his slick performance today.

Tomorrow I'm hoping Sevilla win their second win of the season under this particular manager. They won on his debut  butfor failed to do Same again. At home is a good chance for them to show the fans and also get three y.

I appreciate the effort they're making in this game; they've been playing extremely well without any tension this season against great teams like Atletico Madrid and Barcelona. That is why they are now a threat in La Liga since no one can predict their performance against any team because they are in good form.

Damn Girona is playing a really good game, but they are messy in their defense and I think this could be one of their weaknesses when we look back at the end of the season. Of all those first seven teams in La Liga, Girona is the team with the most goals conceded and this is a pity as they are playing such an attractive offensive football. It is fun to watch them and how they keep going and raise the pressure further and further. The three goals are well played, they earned these three goals through hard work, but they do lose focus on their defense while attacking and Atletico is one of the teams that knows best how to play perfect counter attacks.

Madrid's tight schedule has made them have to be smart in arranging rotations and inevitably some players are also forced to work harder which makes their fitness vulnerable and now we can even see some players who don't even play in their ideal positions

That is what Ancelotti should do and he does it well. Sometimes a coach doesn't have much choice when most of the players in his line can't play at that time. so that the tactics prepared by the coach are what will really have an effect. Guys, Girona has finally given into the pressure of Atlético Madrid. Since the start of the first half, Athletico Madrid has been probing Giron's defense and had about 5 chances in the first 5 minutes. This has been a very entertaining game - even more entertaining than the Madrid match earlier. 6-goal thriller but I'm expecting more goals in this game. Around 2-3 more goals based on the performance of both teams so far.

Real Madrid had a really poor game in terms of scoring productivity. Maybe they were in full control but this isn't good enough for Real Madrid. Of course they got three points but they still should have been able to score more goals than this. I thought that they would be able to score at least 3 goals so I placed a bet on over 2.5 goals for the game.

However they barely won by 1-0.    Besides I was hoping to see Arda Guler as well but Ancelotti didn't give him a chance once again. Maybe it was due to the score's being 1-0 I don't know. But I hope we can see him finding a chance later.

Real Madrid has a very good chance of winning tonight since the opponent I much more demotivated than them and according to statistics,  Real Madrid is winning and I will give them my sure winning in the game,  and also topping the la Liga in this season,  the only clubs that could pause a threat to Real Madrid in this season is Barcelona and Atletico Madrid since both clubs are also eyeing the top position and both clubs doing so well in their various games during this season.

But for sure Asernal is far from the top in the table this season as we are seeing much weak performance that could help the club to recover to the best position like others who were previously prevailing position in the last season and where the club is expected to be by the fans and management.

Real Madrid has a tough schedule coming up in February. They have their match against Girona and the Uefa Champions League matches. The injury list is quite bad as well. But Real Madrid won’t be signing any new players as far as I have heard. That might backfire. But Real Madrid has put faith in Ancelotti to push them through it and I believe if any accident does not happen, they will win both UCL and La Liga.

 By this it's fair to say the table is becoming interesting and although the season is still fresh, we now know there are more competition for the title than Real Madrid and Barcelona.
