Making a change in performance is actually very easy to do for Xavi if Barcelona's conditions are a normal club but for now Barcelona, which is still one of the problematic club make  this a little complicated to do because Xavi cannot be all out in solving problems both in terms of finance and in terms of players.

I was sceptical about the news because  I don't see any reason why Real should be worried about signing Xabi Alonso. Isco lost form at Madrid. He was a total stranger to Madrid's starting lineup. No manager trusted him anymore, even his teammates didn't trust him. I don't even think he trusts himself.

Florentino Perez still believes in Carlo Ancelotti's performance as a coach and therefore he gave him this contract so that he can continue to manage the squad of young players at Real Madrid.

On the other hand, with this news, Real Madrid players definitely have to be more patient because we know that Carlo Ancelotti's coaching style is quite eccentric and often results in players being placed in inappropriate positions. But that is one of his strengths as an experienced trainer and there is no doubt about his success. Basically Real Madrid and Ancelotti no have problems, so it is natural that Real Madrid extended Ancelotti contract to be at Real Madrid until 2026. After all, this news will only make the Brazilian national team might have to try to get the right coach besides Ancelotti, because the hopes of the Brazilian national team to appoint Ancelotti as head coach there are dashed.

Ancelotti succeeded in making Madrid performance stable, despite facing various challenges such as a storm of injuries. It makes sense that Los Blancos management finally offered the manager a new contract until 2026, they considered that Ancelotti was worth keeping, because his performance was very satisfactory. Because when they improve and want to improve it again to a higher level they are constrained and it becomes something that is not easy to solve. That's why I said that they need to solve their fundamental problem first, in this case, finance. Because from what we can see, the problems they experience actually boil down to that, if they can solve it then other problems will be easier to overcome.
Every transfer window, their problem is the same, they can't bring in players freely. They can sell the players they have, especially those with high market value, but that's not a good option at the moment. Realistically, I'd rather keep the proven players, even if it means they'll get a lot of money from the sale.
Now if they choose to sell players and bring in players, it has a fairly high risk, the article could be that the players they bring in do not match what is expected, it will cause new problems within the body of Barcelona.
