Girona is not a strong team or a club build around big names, we know all these Girona players are competitive and doesn't gather experience needed to win the next game. Girona coach, Miguel Ángel Sánchez Muñoz made us understand that a team doesn't need to make signings of the top players before that club will play good football. Girona are competitive on La Liga table and currently ranked second after Real Madrid. I don't simply understand the entire actions of these mediocre club but there's something I know for facts, Girona will not climb down from top four because they've come this long to give up, instead they will be ginger to play more tougher matches and endure all through the hardship.

I see that Real Madrid, Girona, Atletico Madrid and Barcelona have quite unique points where Madrid and Girona both collect 45 points and Atletico and Barca both collect 38 points. This means that all four teams have the same chance of winning La Liga. I'm very excited to see the second half of the season.
And of course what all teams need is consistency in maintaining their game. Injuries suffered by players are something that all teams need to pay attention to, especially those in the top four this season who are fighting for the championship title.

The top four teams will now fight each other to finish the season and these four teams will try to widen the points gap between each other if they lose or draw the remaining matches. Real Madrid and Girona are both fighting to get full points in every remaining match in the first half of this season as the main competitors in the La Liga standings. Atletico Madrid and Barcelona also have the same ambitions because they both have the same points in third and fourth place in the standings.

Competition in La Liga will be much more competitive because the distance in points between 1st and 2nd place is the same and vice versa for third and fourth place. But I am much more competitive when I see the competition between Real Madrid and Girona because surprisingly Girona has so far been able to remain consistent by relying on their limited strength.
