There is still quite a long time left and I think for now in this January transfer window they will still prioritize about the defense rather than for strikers. I would love to see Valencia winning tonight on their 1st game on the year on home soil and to be honest Villareal is not what it used to be a couple of seasons a go and also their squad is not a strong one but still a decent team who could secure a top 10. However , for Valencia I do have hopes they can achieve top 6 and try their luck into Conference next year because they have a lot of youth talents withing squad and all of them need to gather as much experience as they can on a top level.

To be honest, I personally don't see much difference between Valencia and Villarreal, although in recent seasons at least Villarreal are still better than Valencia . But ya, they still only struggling in the middle of the table and therefore, even if for example Valencia manages to beat Villarreal in this match but in the end Valencia will still be difficult to finish in the top six.

 Well before now, Mbappe was a prospect but Ancelloti has said for now he won't be making any change to his squad and he's comfortable with them. I believe they have what it takes to get the species of forward they want in the team and the team's commitment and bond would really boost their results. However despite Ancelotti's speech I still believe Mbappé could still have a future in Madrid.

Ancelotti will not take risks on players who are recovering from injury. Arda Guler may be available against Mallorca, but he will come on as a substitute.
