I have not sat down to watch a full La Liga match, but getting to watch Girona take on Athletico Madrid was a must watch and it didn't disappoint!!

From the second the whistle was blown Gironas intentions were made known to all and got rewarded with an early goal but Atletico's persistence equally rewarded them with some goals thanks to a sharp looking Morata...and honestly with how the game was full of fireworks, I couldn't seperate the two as I thought a draw would be the perfect result to show how much each team worked for the result but seems Girona had the last laugh, congrats boy's, well deserved!!

Madrid and Girona both brought 3 points in their respective matches, Madrid only scored 1 goal which is quite worrying because I hope Mallorca can still be overcome. On the other hand, Girona actually played aggressively and again showed the quality of their players on the field when facing Atletico Madrid. It is normal for Girona to display an offensive style of play because their opponent is quite tough in this match Atletico Madrid has attacker who are active in scoring goals, making it difficult for their opponent to avoid them, but at least Girona was able to counter the attack carried out by Atletico Madrid even though Girona conceded 3 goals from the visiting team but at least Girona was able to score 4 goals and win, at least Girona did not failed to take advantage of home opportunities well and I am happy that the competition between Real Madrid and Girona is still consistent until now.

Real Madrid had a really poor game in terms of scoring productivity. Maybe they were in full control but this isn't good enough for Real Madrid. Of course they got three points but they still should have been able to score more goals than this. I thought that they would be able to score at least 3 goals so I placed a bet on over 2.5 goals for the game.

However they barely won by 1-0.    Besides I was hoping to see Arda Guler as well but Ancelotti didn't give him a chance once again. Maybe it was due to the score's being 1-0 I don't know. But I hope we can see him finding a chance later.

Real Madrid really suffered yesterday before scoring a goal, and that is also what happened in their last match against Alves before entering 2024. To be honest, I think the coach made a mistake in that game. Real Madrid was extremely fortunate that Mallorca would defeat them by two goals if it hadn't happened. As Vinicius is recovering from an injury and may not be fully fit at this point in the game, Ancelotti was supposed to start Brahim Diaz, Rodrigo, and Bellingham up front. I knew so well Girona would win Athletico Madrid in that encounter because Girona wanted to continue their unbeaten run,and they also proved that they are capable of  winning the Laliga by passing that great test of winning Athletico.It is also a reminder to Madrid that they aren't playing this season,and that if Madrid are not careful,they may win the Laliga tittle from them.

There was only girona as the strongest opponent for the title race this season. A perfect run from real madrid has been helping the club so much. I do appreciate how real madrid tries so hard to keep its good momentum to keep win any match in the la liga. Girona was able beating almost all of big clubs in the la liga except real madrid. This is going to be a huge challenge for real madrid and girona.
These clubs are now in the same mission to win the la liga title this season. Im feeling that if la liga is being very attractive by seeing a mediocre club like girona can change drastically after it was getting a good coach.

The Spanish La Liga title over the past 2 decade has was known as a league that's majorly three clubs in the country which are Real Madrid, Barcelona and Atletico Madrid but this season, Real has been very impressive and are currently at the top of the league standings but the strange and surprising thing is that they're having a tight battle from a club that's almost not considered as a top four prospect in the beginning of the season and that's what makes the Spanish La Liga campaign this season more interesting than it's been in the last two decades.

Girona's ability to beat a strong team Atletico Madrid yesterday after beating Barcelona earlier in the season has proven that they in for a serious business in the Spanish La Liga campaign this season and if they can continue with their current performance, we might be surprised to see a new Spanish champion that's different from the three top clubs of the league in the past two decades.

I'm really excited about Girona victory in Estadi Montilivi, they definitely end the unbeaten of Atletico Madrid over them, now they can have a breathing space with 10 points interval between then and Atletico Madrid that are in third place and only have Real Madrid to contended with for the title, they have the same points but goals different, it will be a big challenge for them now because lose or draw shouldn't be their concerns, it should always be win and many goals all the time to cover up goals different, right now there is 7 goals interval between them and I know real Madrid we continue to score more but that is not a problem, they have to disallow concede goals by working on their defence line very well.

Girona's players proved once again that they are one of the most worthy contenders for this season's La Liga title. After an excellent win against Barcelona, Girona also beat one of La Liga's strongest teams, Atlético Madrid. They got a nice 4-3 win.

We got a chance to enjoy a very competitive match. Girona and Atletico Madrid have plenty of attacking players from both teams. Atlético Madrid had 18 shots of which 12 were on target. Girona goalkeeper Gazzaniga made some great saves. Otherwise, Girona would not have gained 3 points. Although Morata scored a hat-trick in this match, Madrid could not earn a point. Girona were lucky as well. Ivan Martin scored the last goal for Girona after 90 minutes. And Girona won the match 4-3.

With all of the performance this season and you call Girona a Mediocre Club? No Man! No! Give them  their flowers you feel me?
Beating Atletico Madrid and Barcelona ain't easy but they've gotten to do that, they're the second best club in all of La Liga this season hate it or love it.

I'll want to say a big shout out to Alvaro Morata for scoring those three goals, if not for the goal cancelled or ruled offside, then they should have been four goals. Winning at the last minute of the game shows how much they wanted three points. What a great way to start the New Year and second half of the season for Girona.

Girona put in an outstanding performance and beat Atletico 4-3. Especially the fourth goal was magnificent. I think Martin hit the ball without knowing where it would go. It was very difficult for the 4 Atletico players to aim the ball towards the top of the goal, luck was on their side. This goal gave Girona 3 points. They are still running for the championship along with Real Madrid in the league. They are the most surprising team in Europe this year.

Yeah it deserves to be called a lucky goal for Girona and Girona managed to secure 3 points with 48 points the same points as Real Madrid, at least Girona managed to pass the first challenge then wait for the second challenge next February against Real Madrid, on February 11 Girona will come to Real Madrid obviously this is not an easy match especially as an away team I mean there is the potential for Girona to lose points.

Real Madrid and Girona's first match Girona's home ground was defeated 3:1 by Real Madrid, which Girona was not as strong as they are now. I think La Liga will be full of many challenges this season, because Girona have already defeated strong teams in La Liga except Real Madrid, including Atletico Madrid, whom Real Madrid lost to. Real Madrid's match against Mallorca yesterday didn't end as i expected, which surprised me because I thought they will score more goals. They currently have the same number of points with Girona despite their different goal numbers.

I didn't bet on any of them to win because anything can happen, even with that i still thought they will win against Atletico Madrid. I don't think Atletico Madrid has much strength to defeat Girona, but after winning 3:1 despite conceding two goals it was a good performance from them. I knew the match wouldn't end well for Atletico Madrid, so I bet on the over 3.5 because I know they will simply beat each other with goals. Despite this, Girona need the three points because they have been playing very well this season, so they can continue to compete with Real Madrid for first place in the league. Atletico Madrid attempted to draw the match, but in the 90 minutes, they were unable to stop Girona's attackers.
