Girona achieved great success by winning yesterday because most people thought they were more likely to lose points against Atletico. Like the match between Girona and Atletico Madrid yesterday was really interesting as the 7 goals thriller in the game was amazing, you know one thing that makes a match more interesting is if the both clubs scores each other rather than only one side scoring while the other doesn't score though the goals were expected considering the fact that it involved two in-form teams although I never thought the goals will be that plenty I was expecting like three to five goals but I was wrong when the match ended 4;3 in favour of a dogged Girona.

I just read that Ancelotti's contract has been extended. Ancelotti will be with Madrid until 2026 if Madrid does not fire him in the middle of the competition. This means the move to Brazil failed. Of all those first seven teams in La Liga, Girona is the team with the most goals conceded and this is a pity as they are playing such an attractive offensive football. The three goals are well played, they earned these three goals through hard work, but they do lose focus on their defense while attacking and Atletico is one of the teams that knows best how to play perfect counter attacks.

I won't blame Girona is they don't end up winning this game right now because the pressure is too much on them and that's the reason why their defensive line is looking so shaky and that has made them make mistakes that lead to the goals but I think it's a normal them since they are playing with a big team like ATM  who's not doing bad too in the league and they are third in the league too. Personally I think Girona should not be discouraged by the number of goals they have already conceded but they should keep improving in their style of play and work on their defense and master how play under pressure i believe it will help them to get better.

I guess we have been wrong about the final result and Girona had some power left in the tank and used it wisely to knockout Atletico Madrid in the last minutes of the game. I am happy about that result. I prefer seasons when an outsider works the way up and competes with the big guys in the league. Beating Atletico Madrid in this impressive game was huge for them. It strengthens their confidence and everything. This was the right result at the right time to now set their goals and keep going.

I do agree with all the points started by a coach with full of excuses. Yeah that's xavi, a coach with old strategy that never made huge change on its strategy and he was always focusing to use 4 midfielders.

The game of both teams was very impressive and I couldn't believe how many goals could be scored.
