Currently the match between Sevilla vs Bilbao is in progress and the visitors still hold the lead with a score of 0-1. I thought Sevilla would be able to beat Bilbao, especially since it was a home game, but in fact they conceded first. The match does not leave much time at the moment and Sevilla must catch up by scoring goals.

Girona is really surprising and I did not expect such a game of Girona against Atletico Madrid, and Atletico also tried their best, Morata played as in his best years on the edge of the attack, escalated the situation, scored, in general, everything that depended on him, he did and JN Oblak blurted out a couple of times, but Girona was unstoppable and won.

It's surprising many people and proving that initial predictions about their weakness were incorrect. So, Girona should be proud of their achievements and continue giving their best on the field.

Girona was able to beat even a strong team like Barcelona by a big margin. So Atletico Madrid was not a tough opponent for them either. Girona is stronger at home. Girona players showed great dominance and won against Atletico Madrid. But they had to try to win till the last moment of the match. Atletico Madrid players also tried their best to get points from this match. But unlucky for them they lost 4-3. After 90 minutes, Ivan Martin's goal won the Girona team. Madrid and Girona are still level on points with a win in this match. Girona are now second in the table as they trail on goal difference.

Girona have been absolutely unstoppable this season, the more often they are stopped, the more dangerous they become. That's an appropriate sentence for Girona at this time, I even initially thought they won over Barcelona because of sheer luck but after I saw this match and they beat Atletico Madrid and even scored four goals against Atletico Madrid which is famous for its strong defense. I believe they really have a solid and dangerous team this season.

Las Palmas as we all know have been very impressive with their performances at home this season especially in the league and as the 10th placed team in the league table, they'll definitely want to win the game to further increase their chances of finishing in the top six of the league table at the end of the season. Barcelona is undoubtedly one of the strongest teams in the Spanish La Liga so I expect them to go for nothing but a win as well and that's why I think a minimum of three goals will be scored in that game tonight.

 Atletico Bilbao just showed once again why they should be regarded with respect as they went to Sevilla's home and dealt with them. Although I didn't expect nothing else, I still hoped that the hosts would have put up a fight. The game was quite annoying to watch as it was mostly one sided, the midfield for the both sides was not coordinated, leaving more action on the wing.
 Granted Sevilla played 3rd placed Bilbao, but I expected something a draw or even a goal to clear the visitor's clean sheet but their performance was too poor to give a threat.
For me, Sevilla gets serious when they are playing in the Europa league and I'm tempted to believe that that's the only thing they are good at.

Barcelona kick off their 2024 campaign against Las Palmas in what is a must win game. they are currently at 5th place, ten points of the top two and really need a win to move up to 3rd and stay within touching distance.

On the probabilities I can still consider Real Madrid to have good luck in some tough games when they can win them. Is Barcelona officially replaced by Girona now? I mean only Girona are very close to Real Madrid and that's something Barcelona should be able to do this season. I disagree. I would not call that luck actually. Because first of all they had to achieve that corner, and you can call the heading skill luck. And then after the goal, they had to defend to win. They had a clean sheet after all. You know, Football is not luck luck-based game but skill skill-based game. Rudiger had to fight as well to win the header as well. They had needed skills to take that cross as well. So you cannot call this luck.

Girona also put up a good fight against Atletico Madrid and had a very good win.

The Girona and Atletico Madrid match was a treat to the eyes. The Girona players scored a goal in the extra time of the second half. Alvaro Morata scored his hat trick in the match as well. I was concerned about how Girona's performance would be after they just lost the top spot but it looks like they got the fight in them. It is very assuring for me because La Liga will still be very interesting.

Celta Vigo had a very tough victory against Real Betis which put them out of the Relegation Zone which is very good for them. Just like the Girona match, Real Betis scored the winning goal in the extra time of the 2nd half. What a night it was in La Liga!

Before the start of the game, I predicted that it'll be a difficult match for the two clubs especially the away team and just like I predicted, Barcelona is having a very difficult night at Las Palmas tonight. I predicted that three or more goals will be scored in the game but considering what I'm currently seeing on my screen, I think there's even a possibility of the game finishing with the current scoreline. I also want to say that Real Madrid was lucky because Real Madrid's game in this match was not strong, especially the back line, there were still two golden opportunities for Mallorca whose shot hit the crossbar. If this could be Mallorca's goal, maybe Real Madrid will lose this match. I think Real Madrid's weakness this season is in defense because many of their defenders are injured.

It must be admitted that Mallorca's game was extraordinary in this match, from defending sporadically to occasionally providing threats. but in the end Real Madrid opened the year with three points which were not easy to get, these three points were very important for Real Madrid because in the other match Girona managed to beat Atletico Madrid. The pattern of football is changing, the club's we're all watching out for have crumbled this season and they're living on hypes of their previous records, they have no ground to stand on this season and that's bad. Barcelona doesn't follow up at all and this is one of the major setback they're witnessing. Common Las Palmas, its now a big challenge for Barcelona to win, doesn't make sense to me. If Barcelona failed to bounce back in the second half, then it's finally clear that they're no longer consider to even have a chance of bouncing back to the La Liga title race. On the current scores, Las Palmas leading with 1-0 on the scoresheet against Barcelona and it's halftime already.
