one could say these guy are no amateurs... Here's my take on this video. (I talked to a friend who served in the army, and he told me that when they did field exercises with blank rounds, that the large amount of fire coming of nozzles was very characteristic): This video (or at least the events) might be staged. Here is what talks for it: 1. From another angle the older men who try to stop the camouflaged people present themselves as former Afghan soldier, and say that everything is under control, yet the guys with weapons press on. The real protesters would not have done so. 2. Journalists are already in place as if they were warned. 3. Journalists and the majority of the present act completely cool when shooting starts. 4. Shooting is most probably is done with BLANK ROUNDS - there is too much fire coming out of nozzles - someone who was in the military told me that blanks tend to do that. 5. The squad strikes several heroic press-ready poses, shoot a lot, but do not move into the building.
Again, this seems to be staged by Kiev coup government to sell to the Western press. This will soon make rounds on BBC, CNN and Faux-News near you, mark my word. |

The results from Kherson are a bit suspicious. For long, that province has been regarded as the sole pro-EU bastion in the Eastern Ukraine. The region has the lowest statistical base of the all, so I wouldn't be surprised by skewed results. |

The region has the lowest statistical base of the all, so I wouldn't be surprised by skewed results.
But I am still optimistic. During the last presidential elections, the PoR + KPU got more than 50% of the votes in Kherson, while the Tymoshenko party + UDAR + Svoboda got around 40%. So it is almost evenly split, with advantage Russia. |

According to other reports she returned to Sloviansk. A video has emerged of a pro-Russian crowd stopping a convoy of Ukrainian soldiers in Artemovsk, south east of Sloviansk. In the film, a man who says he served with Soviet forces in Afghanistan tells the soldiers that they cannot travel in the region without documentation.
