Exbet is a betting exchange. Just to confirm: We are not running a sportsbook. We are a platform for P2P betting.

At launch there will be liquidity provided by a number of market makers. It is up to the market makers what prices they put up, and how much vig they want to bake into their prices. Building liquidity on any exchange takes time, but we expect to see competitive prices from day one that will attract bettors, new market makers, and eventually traders. And then better prices, less vig .. and more bettors, traders.. and so on.

How is Degens fooling bettors? If you go to Settings, you can change from sportsbook mode to betting exchange mode.

It is P2P and you can lay your own odds. There is no vig if someone takes your bet, which means you are a market maker.

We share your frustration that Exbet is not already launched. The Exbet product is ready, but the licensing process has taken longer than we originally anticipated. Covid-19 has also interrupted the project in different ways, not least the decimation of the sporting calendar this spring/summer.

As we wrote above, Cricket is one of the top priorities after launch. We are hoping to see the Cricket calendar pick up again during the next 2-3 months.

I can understand the delays because of COVID-19, but O advise being a bit more active in the forum and providing more regular updates even if a specific date hasn't been finalized yet.

I can understand the need to polish the product and launch it in the best state possible in order to keep the issues to a minimal when it finally does launch later on.

Apart from Fairlay, I haven't found any crypto specific exchanges worth betting on which is why I am awaiting the launch of your exchange. All the best and keep improving Exbet team.

But do note, there is a 0.5% commission charged on the settlement of your bet paid to the exchange.

KYC authorization will be required for Exbet users to raise their daily withdrawal limit above the level allowed for non-authorized users.

Sorry, missed this. We're focused on some other issues just now, but will probably put up some markets for the 2nd test, just to play around with. These will be manually managed.

Just to be clear to others checking in on this thread - the Exbet API beta is officially over but we kept access open to a few people who wanted to continue building on the API before launch, one of those is arco-yabamba. We're just hoping he doesn't think he will be winning any real Bitcoin trading today's football

Degens.com is identical to betfair. Go into settings and select exchange mode.

Requires no KYC and fees are 0.5%. It's non custodial as it uses smart contracts.

It doesn't accept bitcoin though. Only the DAI stablecoin.
