The main purpose is to gain something from it.

If I have no time to "waste" I will seriously learn few skill-based games and try them out first without risking any money. Guess I will focus on peer-to-peer skill-based games . Mostly beneficial games like building homes, raring animals, farming, making tools etc.. I think my skills will be strengthened as I play the games. The skills can be very beneficial or useful in real world

I would still gamble anyway. Gambling's purpose is not just for players to make profit. Most likely, the feeling and enthusiasm it gives is the reason why people continue gambling inspite of their wealth. Another thing, if our mind set is just to make profit, gambling eould be boring and it could cause us to lose our control.

To be honest, gambling is very waste your money & time if you dont have luck ,
ive lost about 5000$ by gambling on crypto, because of addict, but after im realise that gambling is waste my gold time and money..
but i still play it when i want and feel lucky xD

Could be a yes and a no. Yes, gambling offers a way to earn a quick buck, but it has never been a reliable way to earn money.

Most of the people have that kind of perspective in gambling. Little did they know that there's no such thing that can give you an easy money just by playing gambling.

They know that they can lose some amount of money and yet they still continue to play like there's nothing can be regret of.

Sides, most gamblers are actually there for the fun and thrill. Money is just kind of a side thing with most gamblers. A side profit. If they win then its fine, if they lose then its also fine. Not much difference either way.

It depends on the people, not all people are the same. Those poor people aren't thinking about gambling as an entertainment for them. POOR people are more urge of playing because they are greedy about becoming rich.

RICH people are the one who is thinking the way like what you've stated. They don't care about losing money, they just want to waste their time and at the same time enjoying their lives

I'm not gambling everyday, i will gambling when i feel i need to. I have a better choice to waste my time but gambling is the different thing, maybe because I play with risking something, so there are separate challenges that drive adrenaline and make it different from other activities.

I will not gambling if i had no time to waste.

yes it has a main purpose on why you and me play gambling but that is dependent from one user to another user  .  i believe they do it for a specific reason because it does not make sense to decide to gamble without a reason  . if i dont havent time to waste  in my life i will still gamble of course because gambling is not consider as a time waster but its worth the time you spend because you got something in return  .  the main purpose on gambling is not always to make money but other people also play if they are feel stresed or tired as it gives a temporary relief  .

If we have the same mindset we are here just to have fun and something that entertaining our selves in gambling. We can't deny the fact that there are some gamblers hoping to win when they are in gambling but at least they know how to spend and set the amount that they can afford to lose.

Gambling is not wasting time on me and in fact, this was a good choice when you want to relieve your stress or bring out boringness after the day of work. People have a different perspective on how to treat gambling in their life, we should advise them if we think they are beyond the limit and become an addiction.

Gambling for operators is only to make money because of the cost, to run a gambling site is very high, but for gamblers, it is a jackpot if you win money from your bet aside from enjoying the game, and I'm not going to gamble if I have no time to waste actually when there are works that need to be done I stopped gambling and only resume when I have free time and spare money to gamble.

I think during the times like many years ago like romans, gambling is already there, but i think the main reason
for gambling is just for fun, as you can see in the movies and histories, there are lot of people watching it like the
gladiators during roman empire where they bet money but, as i can that is just fun after a long work and not full time

Each of your questions can be answered with a specific answer although I'll answer from a general point of view. Firstly, there ain't anything that involves earning more or having fun that doesn't have a purpose, for some gambling, has a purpose of making them some extra cash while others it serve as a means to catch fun so obviously, gambling doesn't have a main purpose since it's be utilized differently.

Your second question is kinda confusing since I can't comprehend if you're referring to the forum when you used the word "here" so presumingly you meant the forum then obviously we're all here foe a reason (could be to learn, associate with like minds or earn, etc).

Technically, gambling isn't a waste of time because even in the bad time you can still achieve some positive outcome in the form of experience (lessons) so supposedly you can't learn from your mistakes them it becomes a waste of your time just like anything you can't learn from.

Realistically I think it's mostly because of money, but some people say it's to kill time, hobbies or have fun. but of course they expect victory to get fun, because if always lose, I think there is no more fun there.
