This looks like its overly complicated when in order to keep it simple all we have to do is use a blocks hash as a seed in a randomizer.

Well, it is only a proposal, we could do it as we have being doing so the previous years, however it may take a long time before we get all the spots filled.

What do you think about the hash lottery taking place at block 805670, which should be mined roughly on Friday September 1st at 0:00 Default Forum Time with the next tickets?

This should give us sometime to iron out any issues and see if those which have yet to join the league will do so or we will have to figure out something out, in which case the hash lottery may have to be delayed.

In a way this is my fault, when the first edition of this FF league was created I suggested the use of a hash lottery to decide the draft order, and it basically won by default, during the second edition of this FF league that took place last year some league members expressed they liked this method of selecting the draft order, so morvillz7z made it happen, so the hash lottery has become part of this league, however if at some point there is a high enough opposition to it we will eliminate it as we do with any other setting we may not like, so if enough league members come forward asking to remove it then it will happen.

Can I make a request to start it either 2 hours before or 2 hours after of 7pm?

Check with Hhampuz and Nutildah, and see if they can adjust, I am going to guess not as they are both like 12 hours out from each other so that is where they can both make it.

So only force a change if you really have to.

I cleared my schedule. I removed all meetings with Donald Trump, Putin and Oprah Winfrey. I told them that I have something more important to do. The Donald asked what it was. I replied my fantasy league draft. Putin frowned, Oprah was shocked and rested her hands on her waist and the Donald gave me a thumbs up.

@South Park. I like the hash lottery. It will make you feel if you won or lost something hehehehe. I thought I won last year, however, I learned that I did not want to be first in a snake draft order.

Last year it took close to 55 to 60 minutes as you need to enter the lobby 10 minutes before the draft, so with the two additional members it should take close to 65 to 70 minutes before the whole thing is over.

I was thinking of having a team heavy with good wide receivers this year if I had a good slot. But it appears if near the last places, is it good to do Kelce and Mahomes in 1st and 2nd rounds?

Last year I picked last, which had it's good and bad.  I picked 10th and 11th over all and always had two picks in row, but had to suffer through 18 picks in between.

There must be a way to gain an edge, however there is little doubt to me that drafting at the extremes of the draft, whether it is too high or too low, is more difficult than to draft from the middle positions, as in my mock drafts I always do worse when drafting at the extremes than when drafting on the middle, personally I would have been fine with anything between the 4th and the 9th picks so I am very happy with my draft position, and while drafting Kelce and Mahomes would be a good combo, I doubt Kelce will drop to the point you could draft him.
