I don't know how to react with these retaliation video after a big loss. I mean, he's either building another hype for the trilogy or really butt hurt for the outcome of the fight that he couldn't swallow his pride after his side raised the white flag.
Somehow I dont like how the way he utters, he really sounds like a child trying to cheer himself up and revenge himself for another rematch.
Nevertheless, I have a feeling he'll lose again.

Wilder was always going to activate the rematch clause in the fight contract. He was a World Champ so would have been in control of negotiations at the time.

It’ll be another big pay day for Wilder but I think the result will be the same Smiley

I agree. Wilder is coming across as being the king and being sure he will win the re-match.

In the video he already looks beaten and confused, maybe he is trying to imagine himself as invincible but he knows he not only lost the fight he was beaten physically and destroyed mentally because he was out boxed by Tyson Fury.

I actually don't like this kind of fighter, trying to mock who defeated him. Why Deontay can't just be humble and accept the fact that he lost? Yeah he's good at boxing but we never know who is greater than us, and it is shown on their fight. If he really wanted to gain his honor again might as well just be humble, there is no stronger man than being a humble man. Look at Pacquiao, never mocks never trashtalked still on top despite his age.

Obviously that is why he is still interested with the 3rd fight, IMO, they are expecting it to generate more money compared to the last two fights.

but I think the result will be the same Smiley
Just like most of the people after seeing the last two fights, they will think that Fury would still easily win this fight but I hope this would be a more competitive fight and Fury will struggle a bit.

For me Wilder has a chance to win this battle again fury because he seem very eager to compete fury even his opponent have potential, and I see him as a good  example of not giving up easily because of his determination to win the battle even his foe give him a hard time or struggle but still Wilder keep continue to reach his goal to win.

I don't think so, you can't teach an old dog new tricks, he's been exposed two times in his bout against Fury, he does have a very powerful right hand but Fury is an exceptional boxer who solves the puzzles on every boxer that he fought and he exposes Wilder, you cannot teach Wilder to become a thinking boxer when all he has is his powerful right hand, that cannot connect with Fury.

That's a very emotional and a decent self-motivation video. However, I don't think Wilder can close the gap in a very short time. I'm sorry to the Wilder's fan out there, but he already lost twice (actually) against Fury. I don't think the third fight would make any difference. He was outboxed in the first fight and outclassed in the second fight. As long as Fury still training properly, he would still win against Wilder 9/10.

Personally I think Wilder will be beaten again by being knocked out or by TKO but it will not go to a points decision. In my opinion Fury will out box and out class Wilder again.

Same here.  I think no matter how hard Wilder tries to regain his "honor" against Fury, he will be played and be dominated by Fury, though we are not sure about the outcome of the next match because both have strong punches that can knock out their opponent.  I am wondering why Wilder hasn't got enough from Fury.  It was so clear on their last fight that he was outclassed by Fury resulting in him being knocked out and possibly the same thing will happen unless Wilder get a lucky punch that will knock Fury out, or maybe he is relying on this in their next rematch if there is one.
This is probably about pride, think about it, up until this fight he was undefeated and he defeated almost all of his opponents with a knockout, it is obvious Wilder is going to be believe he is the best even if the rest of the world does not think that anymore, I also believe there is simply not enough time for Wilder to change who he is as a fighter and improve to the point he could defeat Fury, but at the same time it is not like he has too much of a choice, if he does not invoke the rematch clause right now Fury will probably never accept to fight against him again.

I'll disagree with that odds and I would surely bet on Wilder if that will be the odds offered in my sportsbook.

Well, the two games that we saw might already be enough for us fans to prove that It's Fury who is the better fighter but Wilder is still a champ, he only loss 1 game and he still have a lot of fans and followers out their, give a man a chance to bounce back, besides these two are fun to watch, so another shot.

Yes, it's full of emotions, it's like he is pouring everything here and there are some kind of pride as well.

For sure, Wilder will still have supporters in this community, but the way he lost and making the stupid excuse, makes you question him even more if he still has it, psychologically to face Fury in a third match and win. So let's see if he can bounce back by having the third fight as schedule, its a big gamble though.

That's a very emotional and a decent self-motivation video. However, I don't think Wilder can close the gap in a very short time. I don't know how to react with these retaliation video after a big loss. I mean, he's either building another hype for the trilogy or really butt hurt for the outcome of the fight that he couldn't swallow his pride after his side raised the white flag.
Some of us think that he wants a part 3 and some of us think that he's only covering up his loss. But if you will asked me, it's more of the latter part Grin because that sh*t is unnecessary at all. If you lose, you lose; wait for the next time that you will face each other  inside the ring once again. That's the best place to say and prove that "I'm the king" lol.

Deontay Wilder intends to invoke the re-match clause to fight Tyson Fury again....

https://talksport.com/sport/boxing/676373/deontay-wilder-tyson-fury-passionate-video/

What an absolutely embarassing video lol.

How on earth can Wilder come out saying he's a king and that he will rise again, after blaming his terrible performance on a 40lb costume lol. That doesn't sound like the words of a true King or a warrior.

Nobody wants to see the damn third fight. Fury got robbed in the first fight, and absolutely mauled him in the second fight. I think he might even kill him in the third if this trend continues.

Nobody wants to see death inside the ring, I'm pretty sure who will referee the fight will check the condition and what is happening in the ring so if Wilder still do that just run away and do not come out of his shield, we will have the same result, if he is the man then he must go and fight the man, not waiting for opening that did not arrive.

Personally I think Wilder will be beaten again by being knocked out or by TKO but it will not go to a points decision. In my opinion Fury will out box and out class Wilder again.

I'm not so sure. I think this one will be a lot closer like the first. I don't think Wilder will make the same mistakes again and his corner certainly wont be throwing in the towel, but my only hope is that it's not a boring fight which it will be if Wilder is worried and stand-offish. I just hope he just comes out guns blazing this time like Fury did. I think he will have to if he wants to win the belt back as playing it safe isn't an option. He really needs to go for a KO this time and hope he can sleep Fury like he almost did in the first.

Personally I think Wilder will be beaten again by being knocked out or by TKO but it will not go to a points decision. In my opinion Fury will out box and out class Wilder again.

When do this fight is expected to happen as you mentioned in the subject "Fury vs Wilder III" ?
As per the details Wilder have only shown hi interest for another match with fury and calling it a war to create the hype and attention. If you know any details of the third match between them, do let us know.

It will likely be in June or July. They'll be trying to get the venue booked before they announce anything.

Edit: It's just been announced for July 18th in Las Vegas at the MGM grand.

Joshua is fighting Pulev on June the 20th so that could mean the winner of Fury/Wilder could happen before the end of the year: https://www.thesun.co.uk/sport/boxing/10726941/fury-wilder-live-result-reaction-updates-joshua-haye-whyte/

Really bad idea by Deontay Wilder and it looks like his ego will crush his career rather than looking for other challenges he is really finding it hard to accept the defeat.

Why is it a bad idea? It's the best possible thing he can do for his career right now win or lose. He'd be stupid to turn down the option of a contractual obligated fight where he gets to win his belt back. This is the best option he has right now and fighting lesser fighters is pointless. Less cash and no belt. If he loses then he'll move on to fighting those but if he wins then he'll likely go for the big blockbuster fights and it will likely be the winner of the Joshua/Pulev fight unless Tyson also has a rematch clause.

Nobody wants to see the damn third fight.
Are you sure about that, I guess people would still buy the hype here and they want their man Wilder to take the crown back, he will be king because he believes it and as a king he has to be given another opportunity to fight. If Fury wins again, then for sure, there's not fight that would happen again.

Fury got robbed in the first fight, and absolutely mauled him in the second fight. I think he might even kill him in the third if this trend continues.
LOL, that would be so interesting to watch then but I think it won't happen.

We will see their fight so aggressive if both boxer will show consistent attacks. If they won't ignore the instances, their chance of winning is highly potential at 100% success. However, if wilder or fury stands on their lucky punches and would take the winning knock outs; they're prepared and ready for the next division.

Wilder is just trying to redeem himself. Fury completely demolish him. If I were him, I wouldn't want a rematch asap or even talk about pride because it makes no sense. If he does busy body and losses to Fury again and that would be the downside of his career. I get the fact that he was revenge but it shouldn't be anytime soon. That time would be better used to practice more.

Fury just won the fight, Wilder was the one who demolished himself by saying lame excuses.

Wilder should learn how to be "heavy", how to behave when your weight is 110+ kg. During that fight vs Fury he had his maximum weight in his career. I suppose that was also something new for him, as he usually fights as 96+kg. To be able to win Fury, he needs something to oppose Fury's speed and ability to hold a punch.

Your advice is the best way forward but will Wilder, his team and more importantly their ego allow for that to happen? They should let rational decision making be the top priority and nothing else.

I would a little further than what you wrote because Fury beat Wilder mentally and physically. To go from that sort of beating, to go from being completely out boxed to somehow beat Fury is a dream. Anything is possible once they are in the ring but the majority will not give Wilder a hope for winning.

I think its better for Wilder to just simmer down a bit or even better, just shut his mouth in the next coming days. I think he can't really get over from the defeat he got from the hands of Fury here. He needs advisor right now, and not going to social media and tells the world that he is still the King.

He should get a page from Joshua's page, admitted his lost, and then beat Ruiz in the rematch. I think that suit excuse of his will haunt him for the rest of his career.

And I don't see him winning against Fury in a trilogy, to be honest, he lost the game mentally already.

In my opinion a fight against Tyson Fury will give you the same outcome, they both fought for around 60 minutes in those fights two fights and apart from the huge two shots in the first fight there was nothing that showed that Wilder could land his lucky punch that could knock out Tyson Fury and the smart move could be Wilder challenging Anthony Joshua as i think it is a much better fight style wise and we all know that Anthony Joshua was avoiding the Wilder fight and with this loss if he pushes for a fight for the belt then they might put that fight together and if he wins those titles then he should challenge Tyson Fury once again. The only reason i do not want to see an immediate rematch is because, historically none of the fighters who had an undefeated record never came back and fought the same after getting defeated.

Check out these boxers how their career turned out after suffering their first loss, Prince Naseem Hamed, Michael Grant, Adrien Broner and there might be many but they never fought the same and they were once invincible and after the defeat they were never the same. How Wilder will recover from this loss is a mystery until he fights again and proves and with all the lame excuses he is putting out i am not sure he will learn about his mistakes and start to learn new techniques.
