Both of the fighters have their fans and that cannot be denied.

Before he fought Fury in the first match Wilder was considered as one of the best. After the draw result in the first fight (which many including myself believe Fury won), people started to think he was going to get found out in the re-match and he did. Even fans of Wilder can be his fans yet concede his will probably end up losing to Fury again.

It would be difficult to predict this match results. The main reason for this is both of the boxers are equally matched and anyone of them can win on a certain date. I think the one who will be more lucky on the day will surely win this match.

Nah, even individuals who have little knowledge of boxing will have a high chance of winning on bets on this one. Even the poll here clearly states that Fury had the upper hand on the rematch and personally i don't have difficulty on picking. On the other hand, it may change in favor of Wilder but that's very slim that s why online bookies will give you high return if you bet on Wilder.

But still that does not grantee that Wilder will lose or Fury will win. Upsets does happen and therefore some people will put money on Wilder and in case he wins, the ROI will be very high as compare to fury. Also if fury is 100% predict to win, you will get very low ROI.

I just do not see this fight happening if Wilder is paid money to step aside to allow a Fury-Joshua fight to go ahead. It makes more sense for him to make phenomenal amounts of money for doing nothing.

Would Wilder prefer to fight Fury and risk losing again and never end up fighting Joshua or would he prefer to let Fury and Joshua battle it out and then fight the unified heavyweight champion instead? HE can get paid two huge sums of money, one for waiving his right to invoke the re-match and the second huge payment for a winner-takes-all-the-belts fight against the winner of the Fury-Joshua fight.

Will Wilder take that money and loss his opportunity to regain himself? I don't think he is gonna do that, it's just some rumors or speculation from the boxing fans but I don't think it will really happen.

Agree, Wilder can win. I don't get why people are speculating that Wilder has no chance of winning against Fury and he will just take the money, in reality, he just lose one game, and like every champion, he  can always come back and win the fight.

If Wilder invokes the re-match will have to beat Fury and then have to beat Joshua in order to become undisputed and unified heavyweight champion of the world.

If he steps aside by taking $20 or so then allows Fury and Joshua to battle it then fights just once in order to have a chance to unify the belts and become champion again - that makes sense too.

Wilder and his ego along with a real chance that he will get battered by Fury again versus 2 big pay days with just one fight - this question is for Wilder to answer.

These are not rumours, the promoters (Hearn and Warren) have discussed it and it is on public record.

This scenario could happen if Wilder have the wisest advisers on his side. If the third fight happen, chances are high that he gonna lose and might end his career for good. It is just pride that holding him now for not taking that step aside money. He could have tune up fights to bring back the confidence in him and build the hype for their trilogy in the future. For now, boxing fans want to see how Joshua will fare against Fury and that fight brings a lot of money to boxing.

Wilder has the ego, he did not even accept his lose against Fury without an excuse, he likes to blame something and we know he blame his heavy suit the last time so this guy has an ego and want a fight than just a money.

Pardon me, I didn't know, I have not read any news regarding this so I wasn't expecting since it looks unfair for the fans.

Do you think the promoters will be willing to give Wilder $20 million to step aside, i have no idea about the money they are talking about but it is a really huge amount for not fighting if the amount is around those figures. I bet the Wilder camp does not want to take the immediate rematch but with the ego Wilder is having he would not let that go either. If Wilder takes the money and let Joshua and Fury fight then there is no guarantee that Wilder will be getting the fight again.

This is what Arum has said : Arum: Paying Wilder, Pulev Step-Aside Money To Allow Fury-Joshua Is Ludicrous

It would be an insult to the dethrone champion if he himself with agree with this.

Is this fight still going ahead? Just six weeks away, don't see them turning down the $ from a live gate.

There is no confirm date yet, but according to  this article, the fight is expected to happen in July 18, 2020.

from the article.

Quote
The date and location of the bout has not officially been confirmed yet and was expected to be held at the MGM Grand again on July 18.

We like to speculate here since we really like to see this fight soon, but it's possible for them to schedule the fight soon but without audience, also there are rumors that the fight will be held outside the US where Corona Virus is already controlled.

Which $ are you referring to regarding the live gate? If the fight went ahead it would probably take place behind closed doors with no audience present.

Is this fight still going ahead? Just six weeks away, don't see them turning down the $ from a live gate.

I completely agree with that, of course these promoters want money and want money from gate entrance, but the question is, would the government allow that considering they have a very high cases of covid-19, let's just accept that they will only generate income from us people who will watch this game live on TV.

Good news is that Fury is now super motivated for next fight with Deontey Wilder.
This is because if he wins on July 18th he booked 2 fights in UK against Anthony Joshua in year 2021.
Honestly I can't wait to see Fury vs Wilder and I expect to see KO and clear win for Fury,
if all goes well and if is healthy that is.

I just do not see this fight happening if Wilder is paid money to step aside to allow a Fury-Joshua fight to go ahead. It makes more sense for him to make phenomenal amounts of money for doing nothing.
If Wilder is smart he will take the money and then wait for the Fury Joshua fight and then challenge the undisputed champion and if he wins that he will have all the belts boxing has to offer and he can regain his legacy, but as a competitor with big ego i do not think Wilder will step aside because he made a ton of money throughout his career.

But to make it clear, he has to win his fight with Wilder first to really make the biggest fight in UK history next year. So what he needs right now is to focus on Wilder beat him the same or even worst than the second and then set his sight for even more money with the Joshua fight.

Ego vs money is on the mind right now of Wilder, but there's so much pride that I doubt that he will take that step aside money.

He will certainly fight with Fury and that's going to happen this year for sure.
The Fury vs AJ would not happen if Fury can't beat Wilder in the 3rd fight and although he already beat Wilder once, I am not expecting an easy fight for him in the 3rd fight. I don't know but I just have a feeling that the 3rd fight will be a more interesting fight that would not result to an easy win by Fury if he ever win the fight.

They're not going to give him 20 million to step aside. That's a ludicrous number. It would probably be a few million at best, but Wilder would make much more by taking the fight and it's the only opportunity he will have to win the belts back. He's not going to walk away from that for a small cash out. Fury has even stated he wouldn't even pay him 2 million to step aside: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BwjzO8TybsU

It makes sense for Fury to take the fight as well as it will almost certainly be his biggest payday win or lose. If he loses they'll likely fight again with an even bigger payday, but wins he just goes on to the next biggest fight but right now that's the Wilder rematch.

Is this fight still going ahead? Just six weeks away, don't see them turning down the $ from a live gate.

Fury said it will be towards the end of the year. Check the youtube vid above.
