No point in voting for this fight, as the dates are not finalized. A few months back, Bob Arum hinted that this fight may not happen in 2020. Also, I heard that there are disagreements regarding the purse. For the third fight, as per the contract the purse needs to be split 60-40 in favor of Fury, but Wilder is rumored to be unhappy about it.
I think the fight will happen, they have already work the details, the only problem is when they will make this happen, Arum hinted that he wanted to have a crowd in this fight as maybe he think that PPV is not enough to meet their target revenue.

In case the fight happens, then I hope that they will be able to take the PPV revenue to the $100 million mark. Revenues from the second fight (in 2019) was not very high. I heard that there were 800,000 PPV buys within the United States, at $79.99 apiece.
This could be a possible last fight between the two great fighters, so I expect they will reach a good amount of PPV, I don't want to talk about the figures here but I am pretty sure both will get a good payday especially to Wilder if he decides to retire after this fight if he will fail to redeem himself.

Arum and the rest of the boxing promoters will not entertain the big fights without they are able to allow audience inside the arena and only the UFC was bold enough to take risk and let go off the profits to carry on with the fights and that will pay off in the long run as they will attract new fans to the sport.

This is a over kill of the series as i was satisfied with two fights and everyone is convinced who the better boxer is and we do not necessarily want to see the trilogy and i doubt whether we will see more PPV sales than the second fight.

I don't think so, the first match was a draw(on paper), the 2nd fight Wilder loss, he had his first loss, so he deserve a rematch, this should be the last if he loss again and he deserve to make a good payday for the last time.  Grin

per contract also, there's a rematch clause, so Wilder can always demand, don't worry it won't take long when the fight happen, we will stop seeing Wilder in big fights, he might think of retirement after this.

There would be a 4th fight if the result would happen to be 1-1 overall on each side.I dont know  if fans would still love to see the 4th one to finish of that rivalry.

When it comes to ppv sales then it would be surely high compared in previous one yet majority would really be on their home to watch the event but to be expected it would be priced much higher.

Is there any tentative schedule for this fight  to  come?

I dont where @Finestream got his information about every details to have already work on cause what i heard is that everything is on hold and fight date is not set. Besides, none of the two fighter talk about on their social media account.

There's better chance that we will see more POV sales than the second fight because Wilder have not accept that Fury dont beat him out of lucky due to his ear injury and i hope he wont have any injury during their third fight so he can be sure.

In an interview, Bob Arum said the fight could take place early October and I read some speculation that it will be on October 3. We'll probably see an official announcement next month. Don't keep your hopes high though. All these largely depends on whether they can sell enough ticket$ or not  Grin

Fury is the underdog before but now it seems that Fury has the upper hand. We saw what happened to Wilder in their 2nd matched where Wilder is really beaten. The next rematch is gonna be exciting because for sure this will be their last fight. Both of the fighter are hungry to victory and for sure they will bring the best that they can do. There still no official matched but if  the match will really happen then I will bet to Fury again!

Ticket sales would be the least of the problems for this fight. This is Fury-Wilder III. Tickets would definitely sell like hotcakes. But I bet there would be a limited number of them for live viewing due to physical distancing requirement, if they are given the green light to proceed staging the fight with a live crowd.

If not, then I bet the pay-per-view buys would be making staggering high numbers. The Fury-Wilder II got at least 800,000 pay-per-view buys. This third match, if live viewing is not allowed (boooo), might even make a 6-digit figure.

PPV is probably a lock for this fight but it seems promoters/organizers aren't satisfied with that. They would have done this sooner w/o a live audience. Bob Arum did say something like "if Fury fans, can't travel to see him fight in the US, there's no point in doing it". So yeah, they are after more profits but if the circumstances doesn't allow them more ticket sales (gate), they're not gonna do it.

If Wilder win then it could not be their last fight as Fury might request a rematch specially if they have rematch clause. I think the pressure is more on Wilder to perform better than the last fight obviously.

They are probably waiting for the right moment (pandemic ceases, situation under control), to let this fight happen. Arum and others are banking that this could be one of the biggest PPV and live gates, so better delay it a bit and wait till everything settles down so that they can generate more money.

I don't think so. A trilogy on a fight is the longest we can have usually, it serves as the final conclusion for the rivalry. So if ever we get a Fury vs Wilder 4, I don't think it will sell to people like on its preceding fights because you know it gets boring to watch the same match up over and over again Grin.

Instead of demanding for a part 4, I guess it would be a better idea to taste new flavor lol. Hmm, maybe Fury vs Joshua?

It's not that exciting anymore because these two are not in the welterweight division. where fighters down there can give a tremendous skills that make the crowd feel excited when they about to fight. the fast and furious fighters are down there who do you think has the most paid pay per views audiences if he got a fight nowadays? isn't it Manny Pacquiao? he is in Welterweight division and when he fights, it doesn't matter who it is as long as it's him, everyone will gonna watch expecially on our country.

I think it's the hype will make the fight interesting, personally I don't follow the heavily regularly but since the fight between Wilder and Fury is very popular, I was able to notice it, and now I am already following it, ask me about the other fighters in the heavy weight, my answer is I don't know them, expect for Ruiz and AJ.

And add to that the money that it can generate + hype = big money for both of them. So there is a possibility if Wilder win in the trilogy. We all know that boxing is a big business that's why anything is possible and promoters know this.

And so far in that division they are the only three boxers, after that no more hype in the next 4-10 rankings. So obviously the money on that division only circles between Fury, Wilder and AJ.

Wilder always has a chance to win here, though we didn't see him doing good in the previous fight but boxing is also unpredictable and when there is money on it, anything can happen, including the word magic,... who knows, right?

Even though forum members have been voting we seem to be stuck on 59 votes so please keep the votes coming in, with all the pages views and posts we should have had more than 59 by now  Grin

It's not that exciting anymore because these two are not in the welterweight division.
But why? I know that fights in the HW division are not as explosive compared to lighter divisions but dude I feel amazed every time I watch a one punch KO comimg from those heavy hitters Cheesy. Yeah! They are boring to watch most of the time due to their slow pace but you can somehow appreciate them on how they grasp their breath and continue throwing punches until their lungs pop out lmao.
And so far in that division they are the only three boxers, after that no more hype in the next 4-10 rankings. So obviously the money on that division only circles between Fury, Wilder and AJ.
Hahaha sad but true. The world is just focusing on these three. Well, I believe the other HW are as great as them particularly Whyte and Povetkin but the problem is that they lack charisma. Maybe they will get more recognition soon as they climb up the ladder and get title shots.

Thank you  Grin

I think it should have passed the 100 vote mark many weeks ago but it has only hit 61 vote which is disproportionate considering the thread views and number of posts.
