Unless if he cant accept again such defeat then for sure this one will go to mental hospital. Lol, he would not, he can't enjoy his money if he will end up in the hospital. What we read or hear online might not reflect his real status in life regarding this match-up, you know, these people are smart, they are good in creating some buzz to sell their fights, let's calm down and just enjoy this trilogy, whoever we are backing. I'm backing Fury, I have a change of heart as Wilder is not a disciplined fighter and not so professional, he allows his emotion too much to dictate his future so I'm not trusting him on that. Fury will win and that's the end of the story. Soon, we will still see a Fury vs Joshua fight, as it gets longer, more people are getting their vaccine which makes it possible to gain their target crowd, a good idea on delaying the fight as they could make more money as life slowly getting back to normal. Maybe that's the reason of delay as the later they will schedule the fight, the more audience they can accommodate in the arena. Which is good for the gate revenue. Am on Fury also on this one. If Wilder will lose this fight, he should accept it and not create any conspiracy theories to why he lost.

They would be arranging the fight as profitable as possible but i dont see that there would be lots would be longing for this trilogy as we do all know that this fight had been settled a long time ago. It is just Wilder cant really accept defeat and if he would lost up again on this one then there would be no reasons or conspiracies that he would really be telling on the public. He would really be making himself look funny into the public if he would do such thing.

The eye of the whole world watching about his performance and if he lost it again then its true that there would be no reason that would really be for him to tell to the public. He just need to accept that there's always a better boxer than him on this world.

The public does not anymore believe that Wilder could win this fight, they have a new champion and that is Fury. So there's no pressure on Wilder, he just needs to train hard, be smart and try to come back, I think it's better that way because if he will win, he would surprise the world again and he will be back on top. He needs to accept his defeat, be humble and continue to work hard but learn and don't do the same mistake over and over again.

All the pressure will be on Wilder because he wanted this fight, he could have fought anyone else and made money but he went to court and made this fight happen and if he looses then there is no way he is going to attract the fans again when he fights again and he cannot ask for another rematch . He needs to accept his defeat, be humble and continue to work hard but learn and don't do the same mistake over and over again.
Wilder will not accept defeat and he somehow comes up with another story if he is defeated again. It is not about the mistakes he made as there is nothing much he could do in both the fights especially in the second fight and Wilder has changed his trainer and will see how he has changed himself.

I think it has already dawn on Wilder that he has lost to Fury and no matter what excuses he said on public, it won't change anything. And I would say that he is lucky to get another shot on Fury, to redeem himself and forget about that lost and focus more on the upcoming fan. I think there is still pressure on him, he is not the favorite so he better prepare 110% in this trilogy to still prove that he still got what it takes to become the champion again.

Wilder does not seem very confident to me. At the press conference he refused to say a word even though it was his opportunity to confront Tyson Fury after making so many allegations against him. We really did not need a trilogy but the build up is bringing more interest to this fight. Wilder fans are so hyped up because they believe all of the conspiracy theories and really think Wilder has a chance this time. There is so much bad blood, not only between the fighters but amongst their fandom and everybody is hoping for a devastating knockout.

And so there is hype again, slowly building up, although I haven't seen the press conference, me thinking that this is Wilder strategy, not to talk in public or even to Fury itself, sort of psyche war and let's see if Tyson Fury are going to break down. And if fans of both are hype, then obviously, we as boxing fans would love to see another devastating knockout regardless of who are going to the canvass first.

There should be a knockdown in this fight, it's gonna be the last fight and they should give everything they have. Talking about the hype, we already know this is a hype match-up because they are the best in the heavyweight division, of course, let's include AJ, but before Wilder's loss, it was him who is the king of the heavyweight with his high KO rate. If Wilder will not adjust his strategy, we might see the same result, but I don't expect it in this fight. I love to see a close fight.

Deontay Wilder has serious knockout power and no one will deny that but the issue is that he is not a technical boxer and i doubt he will be changing his style now and i am curious what changes he will be making other than relying on his knockout power. If Wilder will not adjust his strategy, we might see the same result, but I don't expect it in this fight. I love to see a close fight. I do not want to see a close fight because we will once again hear excuses from Wilder about the loss and i do not want to see another fight between Wilder and Fury in a long time.

Have you seen their stare down after the conference? 5 min of silence with few words from Fury. Why Wilder was in his beats all the time? For me, it looks like Wilder is mentally broken and simply wanted to thwart Fury - AJ fight.
Agreed. They were similar to those little children who want to be the boss of the playground hehehe. It might have been best for Deontay Wilder not to attend the conference. However, we cannot underestimate his famous eraser. One clear lucky punch to Fury’s chin and it will certainly be a knockout victory.

I'm not sure I agree. I think as fans we like to look into things into too much depth sometimes. Wilder probably just wanted to make a statement, that he hasn't got time for the mind games, and just wants to get to business. Unfortunately, that message wasn't received, and now people think he isn't ready or mentally broken as you described. I'll be honest, I'm team Fury in this just because it leads up to one of the biggest fights for a while. Fury VS AJ. However, I think Wilder will be just as ready as he was for the first two fights. The man might not be a brilliant boxer, but he has one hell of a punch which can put anyone out. The first fight, despite me thinking Fury won, it was close (not on points in my opinion) but was close due to the fact that Fury nearly missed the count. It was a big punch, that if he can land again will likely put Fury on his arse once again. Although, having said that Wilder doesn't seem to know how to fight a pressure boxer, and unless he's learned that in the past year or so I see the fight going a similar way to the second.

75 votes in the poll so far
60 vote for Fury 14 votes for Wilder 1 vote for a Draw
I think Fury was spot on when he said Wilder is not mentally or physically ready for this fight and that he does not even want the fight. I think Wilder will definitely realise what he got himself in to at some stage but it will be too late for him to back out. Fury will win, I have no doubt about it. I think Fury will not go towards a long fight, he will try to knock out Wilder within 5 rounds.

Fury shouldnt be that too confident though because Wilder doesnt get its name for without a reason even though this guy turned out to be a cry baby but those punches that guy had would be still fatal even one would land out on a clean hit so better be aware and still be careful. This is really just actually delaying that AJ and Fury fight but once this one been settle then i dont see for Wilder to make out something like this to make some fight mandatory. Dont know if he would really be making out 4th time?

Unfortunately, that message wasn't received, and now people think he isn't ready or mentally broken as you described. The stare down was a weird and it was basically both holding their ground showing their dominance and nothing else and when both were not making any other moves for minutes the team members of Wilder has to talk to Wilder and asked him to settle down and like you even i do not see anything in that. I'll be honest, I'm team Fury in this just because it leads up to one of the biggest fights for a while. Fury VS AJ. However, I think Wilder will be just as ready as he was for the first two fights. I am also a huge fan of Fury and i want this fight to get over and i want to see Fury and Anthony Joshua so that he could cement himself as the dominant boxer of his generation and despite all this it is a dangerous fight as Wilder has that knockout power and that is the only way Wilder could win this fight. Heard many stories that Wilder was training for long hours on a daily basis every day for the past one year and he was not even doing anything else but training and even changed his trainer and it is interesting to see what all adjustments he made.

Although, having said that Wilder doesn't seem to know how to fight a pressure boxer, and unless he's learned that in the past year or so I see the fight going a similar way to the second. Yeah, I think Wilder was just trying a different psychological game trying to come across as mysterious or making a statement of I'm not bothered/phased and am just going to ignore everything, but it did come across as kinda cowardly and weird. He knows he can't compete with Fury's banter/trash-talking so probably just figured he's best to keep his mouth closed and not say anything and try spook Fury that way. Obviously it didn't work but I don't think Wilder is scared or something just trying a different approach to the mindgames. I also agree that people don't seem to be giving Wilder the credit for nearly KO-ing Fury in the first fight. That could happen again despite Fury quite comfortably winning the last fight but in the end it was officially only won via the towel being thrown in. Wilder will probably be more cautious this time. Hopefully Wilder doesn't win so it doesn't drag it out with another rematch which Fury will almost have in his contract if he loses but overall I'd rather just see another good fight regardless of who wins. AJ has to get through Usyk first and that's not till September so if the Fury AJ match does go ahead it won't be until summer next year most likely.

~ Heard many stories that Wilder was training for long hours on a daily basis every day for the past one year and he was not even doing anything else but training and even changed his trainer and it is interesting to see what all adjustments he made.
Deontay Wilder might be obsessed about the rematch for the past year and may be trying his best to perform well and he is confident that he is able to defeat Tyson Fury and so is the reason he went to the court challenging the decision of Tyson Fury fighting anyone else and now he needs to deliver that and perform better but i still do not see any major change in the results unless he is able to land a lucky punch.

Nah, I don't think he is obsessed because this fight could have been over a long time ago if not because of his bad actions of making excuses why he lose in the 2nd fight and not so cooperative with the promoter of the fight. If you remember, Wilder has some conflict with bob Arum regarding the contract in this trilogy, that's why it was delayed, but now finally it was decided, so let's watch it so once it for all this trilogy will be over.

This fight is fast approaching with only about 3 weeks left to go. On the other hand we still have not had a confirmation on Anthony Joshua vs. Oleksandr Usyk and they have not even ordered a purse bid despite the deadline having long passed. I wonder if this will push the undisputed fight between the winner of each fight into next year.
The AJ/Fury fight wont be until next year unless AJ vacates the belts if the Usyk fight doesn't go ahead. They're probably just ironing out the details and it'll be before the end of the year. Last I heard it was pencilled in for September and if so then AJ likely wouldn't fight again this year unless they do a late December fight. That's also assuming Fury doesn't lose to Wilder and has to rematch him. Regardless I'm sure it will happen sooner or later.
