I definitely agree. Wilder shouldn't have jumped right into a rematch when he was clearly devastated by his one and only defeat. It wasn't just physical loss for Wilder. It was obviously emotionally traumatic for him. He should have fought a preparatory fight or two to gauge his well-being. After a convincing victory, only then should he think of facing his trauma once more.

Not just in a heavyweight match but in the whole of boxing anything can happen. A huge underdog could win. A single lucky punch could end a match. But it is also true that a fighter should climb in the ring in his perfect shape. Wilder is not in that shape. He is about to face Fury the third time around 3 days from now and all he is saying until now are still his excuses over his 2020 loss. He's still crying until now. How could that fighter ever win?

This is enough for Wilder to be scared to the bones and hold his punches. Plus he knows very well that his killer punch cannot kill Fury. He landed it. He put the man down, jeered at him, and dance in celebration only to end up being a punching bag for the rest of the fight.

I don't really think that Joshua was holding back on purpose against Usyk, it is just very hard to throw punches against opponents that are always moving their head and body like Usyk did and also how Typen fury does. So as a heavy puncher like Joshua or Wilder you can not just go in and start swinging like crazy from the first minute on or you will be very tired very fast because punches that you miss are extremely exhaustive for a boxer. So you might want to wait a bit until your opponent becomes tired and slower.

He cannot and he should not fight the way he did in his last two fights against Fury, he has no chance to win if he'll just wait to drop his big bomb, that will not happen Fury is always moving always find a good angle, you know in boxing it's hard to hit a moving target, he must show something different like imposing himself, punching a lot and bobbing and weaving can help, he must show to Fury that he is a totally different fighter, few more days before we see the most anticipated fight of the year.

He got Fury in the first fight, last round, but Fury was able to get up. In the second fight, it was a different Wilder and we all know how many excuses he said after that lost. I would say that he should cover up more though, and not to get tag and then throw that bombs.

Have you seen their first fight completely? At least check score cards. No doubt Wilder won the first round. That last round punch - if you look the replay, you would see that this punch came in passing. And it was round 12 - there was not so much power in it. That 12 round was scored 10-8 in Wilder favour. Most of the other rounds Fury won. If not that punch, it will be 10-9 (even if Fury would have lost that round) and Fury would win with 1 point advantage. That one punch saved Wilder from his first loss actually.

Wilder had odd moments here and there where he tried unleash those ferocious right hands and couple of times he rattled Fury but for a big man of 6'9'' such as Fury to be knocked down like that in the 12th and final round, it shows great spirit for him to get up and then end the round as the dominant fighter.

He carried on in the same spirit in the second fight but destroyed Wilder. Fury is one of the best heavyweight fighters I have seen in many years, he is on a different level to the current crop of fighters.

I think it's all part of the show, just creating an atmosphere of pre-fight engagement and getting the audience's attention. I really hope that this is the case and Wilder is seriously preparing for the fight and not contemplating conspiracy theories 

The boxing community is wiser than Wilder thinks and I think is all ready for this fight I have seen him train and in their face-off, he is not talking at all he just stare at Fury and do nothing he just wants to go on with the fight and no trash talking anymore, this time he has a very different mindset and plan, we will see a new Wilder in this fight.

I hope so. I have been writing for a long time that the chances of Wilder, in my opinion, are much higher than generally accepted. I don't know if I will bet money on this fight, but for my reasons, it turns out that I should, since the odds that bookmakers show now are very strongly distorted by the mood of the crowd.

We'll see the new Deontay Wilder in the fight that will take place in the next few days, and even though Wilder has had a change or new strategy in dealing with Fury, I think the result will be the same and lose.
This is the boxer's third meeting after Imabang in December 2018 and Fury's seventh-round TKO victory to claim Wilder's title in February 2020, and I can't wait to see a new Wilder in his third fight against Fury. and if Fury wins, is there any more excuses from Wilder.

That was for this third fight. He had a rematch clause but the contracted time for it to happen within had elapsed but that was only due to covid so he had to go court to get it overruled. Contracts often have clauses in for things like 'acts of god', wars breaking out or even pandemics. No idea what the terms of this contract were but I think it was fair due to covid which made the fight impossible.

I have now googled for a while but could not find information regarding the current contract - only the part about the distribution of income from the match between boxers is public (the amounts are impressive).
In fact, this is a very interesting question, because if this 3rd fight is a continuation of that contract, then by winning it, Wilder will be able to refuse Fury a rematch, and if this is a completely new contract, then Fury, as a belt holder, will be able to demand revenge in case of defeat and we will see the 4th fight.

Depending on the outcome of the fight people love to see a rematch if there is a need to do one, all I know is if there's a rematch it's another contract, every fight is another contract but some of its contents are coming out of the previous one, both of their managers are wise people who protect the interest of their respective boxers so I'm sure there's a possibility of a fourth fight if Wilder wins because it doesn't settle it's going to be 1 to 1 between the two fighters.

This fight is the talk of the town and am looking forward to it unlike what we experienced with the lack of thrills and publicity with the Anthony Joshua versus Oleksandr Usyk fight. Am giving this fight to Tyson Fury and I hope it ends that way to put an end to the whole Fury and Wilder row. Wilder is a loud mouth but he is keeping quiet this time around. I've watched that knock down by Wilder a few times, and I've yet to come to the conclusion if Fury was ever knocked out. I did consider that potentially the first punch of the combination actually rocked him, and the second might have woken him up a little. However, if you look at the landing that Fury took, it seems that he intentionally broke his fall with what I believe was his left arm if my memory serves me well.

Normally, when someone loses consciousness they aren't going to have that sort of reaction, instead their arms, and legs sort of go in free mode, and flop everywhere. He seemed to control the descent, and potentially even rode the shots to a degree. He also looked to be awake on the ground, albeit maybe a little bit shocked, and but he kept this sort of death stare, and got up composed, and quite frankly I thought he survived the onslaught of Wilder's attacks directly after that, and might have potential won the last minute of the fight rocking Wilder with a counter punch.

The most memorable part for me, and this by be one of the most memorable boxing moments in recent history for me is how Wilder reacted. First of all he's dancing convinced that he had won the fight, and Fury rises out of nowhere, and Wilder's face was just pure shock. I think that rattled him more than any of Fury's shots that night, he was completely dumbfounded, as well as I how Fury managed to get up after those two monstrous hits.

Yes, holding the 4th fight will be logical, but unfortunately we all know how boxers love to dodge a difficult opponent and run away from the meeting that the rest of the boxing world is waiting for. Sometimes it lasts for years (sometimes for a decade, such as in the case of Povetkin and Klitschko), I hope that this will not take place here. For example, I even get tired of "negotiations" and constant postponements of the date of the battle.

Losing in such a devastating manner has changed his personality. If the aggression is not there prior to the fight it makes me question his frame of mind and if he is mentally prepared for the challenge ahead of him.

Wilder is not afraid, he is either dumb or really disrespectful (he even did not say hello to a women who manage this conference), because he was beaten.

This would be a worse thing to do. Instead of beating a guy who has cheated, or beating a guy that cheats right now, he wants to cheat himself. Beating a cheater will only make him greatest. But cheating against a "cheater" (act of cheating wasnt proved) makes him no different or better.

Perhaps this is a strategy of psychological pressure on Fury (as we see it worked for you and you started to worry, maybe it will work on Fury as well). But in fact, I don't think Wilder would cheat in any way - if he had such plans, he would not have announced them publicly. I must note that the closer the fight, the more tension grows around it.
