This is finally over, Fury proved to the world that he is the better fighter between him and Wilder.

He got Knockdown but just like the first fight he was able to get up and in the end, he was able to KO Wilder with a solid punch.
I just don't like Wilder after the fight as he doesn't show respect when Fury tries to shake hands, so he is really a sore loser now, and no doubt about that.

What's next for Wilder then?

I didn't have the chance to watch the full fight but base on the highlights that I've seen online, it looks like both of them got knocked down. Its just that Fury got a higher endurance and he has more stamina compare to Wilder who is just swinging his hand and not defending at all because of fatigue in the last rounds of the match.

Losing one match to a fighter would be devastating depending to the fighter but losing twice to the same fighter? Wilder has his pride still until the last parts of the fight that he didn't shake hands with Fury. What an unsportsmanlike behavior coming from him.

What's next for him? Maybe he will start low again, fight other fighters, get a ring again and fight other fighters.

This is what I somehow dislike about Wilder's behavior. I guess, he couldn't accept defeat from Fury. Because Fury said he "went over to show love and respect but he didn't want to give it back." So there's some bitterness from Wilder's end. Now, this is over. I don't think Wilder's camp should ask for fourth round here. Fury proved that he has this power to hold that belt.

He can go back and fight his way to the top again, those fighters that he has beaten and asking for a rematch. Maybe the loser of the AJ vs Usyk, as AJ has officially exercise his rematch clause and probably the fight be held next year. And then the winner fighting Fury for all the belts in the heavyweight and maybe after Fury wins all the belt he can retire undefeated and cemented his legacy as one of the best HW champion in recent memories.

As long as Wilder will start winning again, it's easy to create a hype of a possible Fury vs Wilder 4.

Wilder vs AJ would be nice, that if AJ will once again lose in a rematch against Usyk which I think will likely happen as Usyk is not Ruiz. Usyk is just an underrated boxer which has some real boxing talent and he exploited AJ in their fight.

I don't know if Wilder would still win a fight, I guess he was really living in Fury's world and he can't move on his defeat, and if that will stay, it will hunt him and he won't be able to continue his life due to the distraction. The fact that he doesn't respect a champion, means he does not deserve to be a champion again, I pity how his career might end.

I have to give credit to Wilder, he could have lost the fight when he was on the floor but got up and fought on. Then Wilder had opportunities in the 4th to win the fight by putting Fury down but after that he lost momentum because Fury gradually overcame him and dominated. It has to be said Wilder played his part to make it brilliant fight to watch but he ran out of steam in the 7th round.

Also Fury proved why he is the best heavyweight around and has been for several years. Well done and congratulations to Fury.

That was a great fight. Exactly what you want from a boxing match. It was like a thriller in some rounds as both fighters looked like they weren't going to make it and you didn't know what was going to happen next. People need to give Wilder his props as a boxer regardless of the shitty excuses he comes out with because like Fury said I'm the best boxer on the planet but Wilder is the second best. There was a couple of times where Fury shook him and he was shaky on his legs lucky to remain vertical but Wilder was still throwing those bombs and a couple of them nearly took Fury out. Both fighters were saved by the bell a couple of times as well. Fight could have gone either way but Fury got the job done in the end. AJ wouldn't win a fight against either of them, though I'd still like to see it.

It's going to be interesting to see if Wilder just accepts defeat or comes out with more excuses. I'd actually like to see another fight between them at some point. I think Fury should go off and fight AJ, Usuk, Whyte, maybe Chisora again and then Wilder again. There's not really anyone that will challenge him like Wilder would.

This was an incredibly epic battle we witnessed.

That was one rubbish fight!

Neither player could manage more than a simple ONE-TWO punch with Wilder just living up to his name swinging wildly with full arm's length swings that were never going to connect and were so badly telegraphed that it was obvious he was going to "stumble" at some point and the game would be over.

Fury likewise never really went in for the knockout choosing to stand back and let Wilder recover enough to keep going only for the players to then give each-other long hugs (which looked more like they were on a date rather than a fight!)  Wilder was exhausted from about the third round, but when he got Fury on the mat early just let him get up and then did nothing more.

Both players need to do more than just a right-left one-two swing - they have no technique, no style and certainly no class.

You're a moron and don't know what you're talking about. Do you think fighters have infinite gas tanks or a reserve tank somewhere that they can magically get extra gas and power from for a Ko? Both were clearly exhausted at certain points and the 'hugging' they do is tactical. It gives them a breather and if you're leaning on someone the other fighter has to use a lot of energy just to keep both of them up. Sure, fans don't want to see it but it's easy to criticise world class fighters sat in your arm-chair at home when you're not the one getting repeatedly punched in the face.

If he will fight a B-level heavyweight, for sure he can still win and I think he can dominate anyone not name Fury. Even if a Wilder vs Joshua fight, I will put my money on Wilder, that one punch can really turn things in a fight. If he hits Joshua with that, I doubt that Anthony can recover the way Wilder recover.

But then again, they will still below Fury, and no fighter can defeat Fury at his stage of his career. Specially in mental and ring IQ, gypsy king will top them all.

Without Fury, Wilder could be the best in the heavyweight, and in their 3 fights, I believe this is the best fight and it's the closing fight. I don't hear any excuse from Wilder anymore so I think he had already accepted his defeat although he does not publicly say it.

Fury is a warrior, he was down but was able to get up, that's the kind of spirit that would qualify to be called a warrior.

I don't see much of the head movement from Fury, it seems like increase his weight to really show Wilder that he has a more powerful fist than his.

Yes, Wilder could've win it, but I guess he didn't really hurt Fury in those 2 knockdowns in the 4th round. I mean, Yes Fury was rocked with that solid right hand from Wilder but I guess Fury did a smart decision to lean forward and hit the canvass after he lost his balance and avoid a potential knockout.
IMO, Fury wasn't really hurt, instead he have lost balance.
However, the fight is what the fans would love to see, the outcome was unpredictable as both fighters showed passion to win.
Fury clearly dominates this trilogy.
Congratulations to the Fury bettors  Cheesy

The problem Wilder faced was that where is was throwing punches in the first fight until the end, he was concussed in the second fight and was always going to get beaten. In the third fight he ran out of steam but in all of the fights Fury was strong until the end even though was on the floor in the final round of the first fight. Fury had much more stamina and technically is by far the more superior between the two.

Also Fury proved why he is the best heavyweight around and has been for several years. Well done and congratulations to Fury.

That's true and that's probably the reason why Wilder is accusing Fury of cheating because he cannot knock out Fury which would usually happen to his opponent once gets hit by his powerful punch. Now, the talk is over between the two, whatever excuses or accusation Wilder will throw, it does not make sense anymore as we saw how got beaten up by a real warrior who still respects his opponent despite the trashy words thrown to him.

Great fight, but unfortunately not with the result I was hoping for. I hope that this fight will not be the last for Wilder in his career and he will be able to overcome himself and continue to perform further. Apparently, less epic confrontation awaits us ahead, since Usyk - Joshua 2 will most likely be a repetition of the first fight (smart boxing without tragic outcomes and surprises) and then Fury's simple victory over the winner of this pair (Fury is too much physically superior to his opponents).

AJ wouldn't win a fight against either of them, though I'd still like to see it.

I thought AJ would stand a chance with Fury but after watching his fight with Usyk I concluded Fury will knock him out before the fifth round. He may sustain it to the end with Wilder on unanimous decision. The only thing that can save AJ now is if he goes back to his style and stop trying to show skills. Showing skills and entertainment is not his pattern. I mean he should go back to the pattern in the era he destroyed Paul Butlin, Dorian Darch, Dilian Whyte, Wladimir Klitschko and others.

Am not sure Wilder will ever want to have anything to do with Fury in the rings.

One of the best Heavyweight fights i have seen in a long time and Tyson Fury showed that he could take a punch from Deontay Wilder who was known as the heaviest puncher in the division and the way in which Deontay Wilder was able to withstand till the end before touching the canvas and he would be dreaming someone throwing the towel well before so that he could come up with excuses once again  Cheesy .

Still i am waiting to hear a long list of excuses from Deontay Wilder, i expect something creative because he threw the kitchen sink at Fury the last time he lost  Grin.

That is sad, I watched the whole fight but I never bother with the interviews and stuff like so I did not saw what you mentioned.

This is one of the best fights we have seen in a long time and both should be proud of what they did, Fury retained his tittle and he showed why he is the superior boxer, but Wilder improved as well and he gave it his all, they should both be happy about what happened above the ring as they gave everything they had to the public and we appreciate it as we could see they kept nothing in reserve and gave everything they had, so it would have been a nice touch if they could have reconciled their differences and accept both are great fighters.

This was one of the best heavyweight fights I ever watched and Fury deserved to get this KO win, not only that but he would win every time against Wilder who showed he is small person who can't accept defeat and show respect and give hand to the winner.

Like what I have mentioned on a similar thread, this is without a doubt, the best heavy weight trilogy that I have ever witnessed in my life. It is such an opportunity to see two (2) warriors battle head-on with all those punches being thrown at each other. The destructive power of Wilder and the flexibility, speed, and skill of Fury just made it the fight of the century.

It definitely revived the competitiveness in the heavyweight category as they are somehow overshadowed by the fights happening in lower weight divisions. As this fight is now concluded, we can definitely say that Fury owned Wilder on this trilogy.

What's next for Wilder then?

No more big cheques definitely.

I was strange to see that such a jelly like Tyson has more stamina than sportish Wilder. Either this is due to Wilder gained and showed his maximum weight. Or because in every clinch Fury pushed his whole mass on Wilder, making him get tired.

The lack of stamina was best seen in round 9. Wilder was super slow.

Wilder walkout wore another costume… But funny that Fury did the same.
