The pool is working fine, so it's something on your end.

Some things to check:

Miner Software: Make sure that your miner is actually mining properly. Do you see a hashrate number being displayed in the miner software/dashboard?

Hashrate: Are you providing a very small hashrate?, even at 300GH/s (one Compac F) the summary should appear immediately. If you're pointing a very old miner, or a non-asic device, then it will take forever to appear and it will display the error in the meantime.

URL: Of course, any mistake in the URL would generate that error. Double check that you're using the same BTC address you used in the miner.

Yes, I'm mining. OK it turns out that adding the .0 onto the end of the BTC address broke the web interface.
Now it works, although the hash rate is a fraction of what cgminer reports.

I'm also trying to learn why Kano.is suddenly stopped working for me. There's no contact info on that website.

No, that's not broke. That's how you add a worker name so that you can distinguish multiple miners running under the  same BTC Address.

Hello all,

let's go to the next group buy from Hashingpower.

As already requested by some forum users I put a new group buy for solo mining. Start at the earliest after the next diff reduction.

~15-18 users for each 0.01 BTC can participate. A higher number is not useful, otherwise a possible profit will be much too small.
If smaller amounts than the minimum amount are allowed in a single case, then the calculation of the rewards will be based on the amount of BTC deposited.
Hashingpower is rented on Nicehash and shot on the solo pool.
The status of the group run can be observed during the runtime via the Live View link.
Here you can see what our hashingpower is and what our highest share / bestshare is.

If a block is found, the reward will be paid out to the participants.

The chance of finding a block is the same every time (given same difficulty).

The fact that a block was found right now doesn't mean the next one can't be found right after (or even at the same time).

It's like saying the probability of getting a 6 in a dice roll changes if you just got a 6. It doesn't. It's still 1/6 for the next roll as well.

well thanks for the lesson in how PoW mining works lol but while you are correct that the chance of finding a block is the same every time (given same diff), this is precisely the reason you are also wrong. That is not how probability theory works. Your analogy is flawed.

Probability = Number of desired outcomes / Number of possible outcomes.....so in this case, rolling a die and getting a 6 is indeed 1/6

But since the second event is independent of the first (i.e. the outcome of one event has no effect on the probability of the second event), then the formula becomes...

Probability of both = Probability of outcome 1 x Probability of outcome 2.....so actually the chances of a 6 being rolled consecutively are (1/6)(1/6)=1/36

No but really, no hard feelings. I love math so believe me, I've thought about stuff like this many times in my life.  Anyhow, with the chance of finding a block in btc mining being so low (without a substantial amount of the network hashrate), the chance of finding two in any short time frame is very very low....but it isn't impossible which is why it does happen from time to time.  Take care my fellow miner!

Hi guys. Antminer S9SE firmware MSKMiner.
The screenshot shows that antminer found 2 blocks, do I understand correctly? These blocks were found in the last approximately 8 hours of antminer work. As I understand it, these found blocks went in favor of the MSKMiner firmware developer, since there is no data on these blocks on solo.ckpool.org. If antminer really found these blocks and it was not a bug.
