Hi, are you running similar nigerian scam?
Willi is a very respectable member of the community and many people have safely entrusted him with running group buys. Not an appropriate accusation.

Currently 22.0. I usually upgrade it some time after the latest release is out to make sure all bugs are shaken out.

No, he does not have a 17T. The pools highest attempt since the last block was found is currently 17T.  Wink And when i say last block, i mean the last block found by CK and not globally on the blockchain...

It is a hard for small pool to resolve a BTC.

Now, it seems big pools, about 10 pools, are ruling this business of mining BTC.
But, I believe there is some abnormal in statistics for a long run.
Small pools should have more hits on BTC.

Do big pools use some tricks in process and got advantage over
small players?

Spot on, plus more miners = more "luck" so greater chance of that big hash when you have 50k, 100k, or more miners in a pool.

You'll often see a block solved with a massive hash much higher than the current difficulty, and when you have tens of thousands of miners hashing away that can happen more often.

(I'm right on that, right?)

Hi guys,

Could you tell me what an acceptable ping time would be for the address http://solo.ckpool.org? Is 125ms ok?

Does this time interfere with anything for the miner to find a block and send the pool to be accepted?

Would it be possible to improve this time through another address for example? or what would be the best way to check the ping time for the pool?

Thanks.

That ping time's fine. The only way to improve ping time is to be physically closer to the server.

Does this time influence anything to harm finding and processing a block in a timely manner?

Do you have another point on the server or is it just the one in the link?

Thanks.

It means the block takes half that time to get to the server if you solve one. There is an absolutely minuscule increase in the risk of a block being orphaned in that time. However the pool hardware confirms it's a block very quickly and is well connected so propagates a block rapidly. There is no other server, this is an extremely low budget pool.

It's been many Moons since my last post.  Fired up a T15 in one of my grow-rooms mere moments ago!  Fan-spoofed and a 6" Maxfan for nostrils.  The breadcrumbs lead to an Opendime credstick (I'm partial to the green PCB ones).  It's an honor to be amongst the ranks!

No block found in Blockparty 24, now up into the next one --> Blockparty 25

######################
Hello all,

let's go to the next group buy from Hashingpower.

As already requested by some forum users I put a new group buy for solo mining. Start at the earliest after the next diff reduction.

~15-18 users for each 0.01 BTC can participate. A higher number is not useful, otherwise a possible profit will be much too small.
If smaller amounts than the minimum amount are allowed in a single case, then the calculation of the rewards will be based on the amount of BTC deposited.
Hashingpower is rented on Nicehash and shot on the solo pool.
The status of the group run can be observed during the runtime via the Live View link.
Here you can see what our hashingpower is and what our highest share / bestshare is.

If a block is found, the reward will be paid out to the participants.

Lets go and let us find a block

In the past we had found 9 blocks --> 188 BTC!
Block list: 385022, 394940, 394946, 395087, 396941, 399709, 401934, 706369, 712217

Those who want to participate send their BTC to the following address bc1qlpd45688hce39lusur8sdnuzy3z2dx4uvrgpkt and post their participation with the following template:

Please send your coins only if there is still a place available.

To make it a little easier in the new year, I've decided to do the reservations differently.
In the new year there are reservations possible for people who pay for 2, 5, 10, ... block party runs in front.
If the quota is exhausted, the place will be automatically free and someone else can use the place.

Specifically, we start with the Blockparty Run 2022-1 and if someone sends 20x 0.01 BTC at the first time, he is practically permanent until the Blockparty Run 20.
If someone joins the Blockparty Run 2022-7 and sends 10x 0.01 BTC, he will be a member until Blockparty Run 17.
This simplifies the organization and places are not permanently taken by the same people, unless someone sends 50x 0.01 BTC for the 50 planned Runs.

If we should not create at the end 2022 the Runs, for which someone already paid, the last Run in 2022 all payments are used around longer to run.

As long as open slots are available the coins can be sent at any time without an OK from me

ATTENTION: New BTC address on Nicehach. Nicehash is changing its deposit addresses.
