Game 3 is on Boom versus Talon(1-1) as of typing this.

Good win by Boom in game 3. They never really gave Talon the space and the chance to bounce back as they were playing it safe too.

They have just secured the slot, I mean both of them got the slot as Talon win over Polaris.

By the way. I'm curious how OG, Fnatic, Alliance, Team Liquid, Team Secret, and Nigma Galaxy got their invitations. Were they just directly invited or what? Some top teams like Team Spirit, LGD, RNG, and Tundra seem like they didn't participate. Maybe they felt it is unfair for them to play in the qualifications while some teams that are weaker and with lower DPC got automatic invitations?

Usually when a team gets direct invited, it's the management of that particular tournament who did that. It's like a personal choice and pick of theirs whilst leaving the other slots for qualifiers.

It's also possible that they've got a basis like the DPC points, any of the two as preference of the management. There's no such unfairness on it and most teams are okay whether they get a direct invite or a qualifying round but obviously, most of them wants to skip the qualifying rounds and just get a direct invite.

JKS had been benched by Complexity last year for a long time and he got back in action alongside Ropz and Karragin with Faze and they'd go on to win IEM Katowice while playing as a stand in for them. G2 roaster in the coming few days will be : Niko, huNter, m0NESY, JKS. while they have KennyS(benched), Aleksib(transferable) and JACKZ(transferable)

Fnatic- Three of their players failed to get their approvals from the US embassy to acquire their traveling visas.

Imagine both Topson and Ana standin in for this team. There's a possibility of it happening though or probably they'll just get pos 1, 2 and 5 of TSM to participate as part of their team

Extreme Gaming- They forfeited their slot after failing to get a visa on 1 of its players. I'm not sure if this is worth it for them rather than having a stand-in. This means there are only 17 teams playing in Arlington. Or will Valve allows 4th placer Aster.Aries in the Chinese region to play instead?

Thats not how it works, if a team forfeited its slot then there will be no other team that will occupy that slot as it is not fair for another team to be selected like that. The last Major was also held without the CN region team and all of those spots are not given to another team so pretty sure that Valve will stand with their rules

Entity- Pure also failed to get a US visa. But the team already has Timado from TSM as its substitute.

I'm supporting a significant change for G2 absolutely. Because they have been very unsuccessful in the big tournaments for a long time. The last IEM tournament was another example for this. Actually they have a really good roster now but something is just not right still. The team need to play together much better than the current level. m0nesy is a wonderful talent but their condition started making me feel like he is just wasting his time there. If G2 make the right moves then they can recover stronger from this.

Still good, I need something to bet on during the week. EPL will have games mostly on weekend   Just waiting to see what time will the games be run, hope for something EU friendly. I hate time difference and middle of the night matches since I like to watch what I am betting on.

I like to have a lot of choice when betting. Nothing better than to pick one best value pick from DOTA major, one from EPL and one from some big tennis tournament.

Wtf? this is such a massive downgrade. Well, i guess from now on we'll see G2 in shitty ass tier 3 tournaments, Malta Vibes, Pinnacle cup, stuff like that 

in other news, Spinx will join Vitality and replace misutaa. Rumours began last week that ENCE's best player was on Vitality's radar, but some recent reports are saying that it's a done deal and an official announcement will be made soon on Vitality's website. Now THAT is an upgrade 👀 Hopefully they'll bench botApex and find a proper IGL

And I am pretty sure that there are also other teams that struggled with their US visa applications.

We had already these kind of problems when it comes to majors where ending up on some teams to have some stand-in or substitute which would be totally affecting overall performance of a particular team.

Im not really that knowledgeable on how visa works or something in related but since these teams do know upcoming events or tourneys.Is it possible that they could make out visa processing ahead of time?
So that on the time that they would be participating on majors or tournaments which they could able to avoid such circumstances?

T1 VS kt Rolster

Damwon Gaming VS Hanwha Life Esports

Both series ended up going through all three maps, the series between T1 and KT was kind of expected as T1 dropped maps in the last couple of series against weaker teams like Brion and Kwangdong, they're inconsistent when it comes to sweeping teams unlike Damwon and Gen G. When I saw the odds on the over 2.5 hovering around 2.49 I had to take it and good thing T1 didn't go ham.

Hanwha Life taking at least a map against Damwon was unexpected and that map loss was like a wake up call for them as they proceed to cleanly win the next two games.

Thunder Awaken beat Beastcoast in a best of 5 by the score of 3-1 in the ESL One Malaysia 2022 South America: Closed Qualifier. Beastcoast took game 1 but Thunder Awaken just flipped their switches and pretty much beat Beastcoast in under 25 mins in each of the next 3 games(except one, which went 26mins). Thunder Awaken are actually looking like a very solid team and I cant wait to see them compete against other regions in ESL One Malaysia. The Chinese Closed qualifiers up next.

Well, I was wrong with my intuition that T1 will not drop a map, but I was really hesitant in doing it, but it did, but as expected they still win the match, but well losing on Correct Map Score is surely a risk, but still, I surely made a decent win not quite but OK for me, I think I will surely get to know more on the Tencent League of Legends Pro League LPL and will be busting a bet once I am ready,

Well, I really never expected both teams to have their opponent score a map but for me it is OK and it is surely a risk,

Totally agreed. I don't think that jks is better than JACKZ now. Maybe he is younger than JACKZ (jks-26, JACKZ-30). However I don't like jks' performance as much as JACKZ. G2 would need a not only younger but also more talented player to replace JACKZ now. They need to carry their current level to a higher one not lower. They haven't been successful at all despite having a wonderful player like m0nesy.

I think it would be a good move for Vitality to get one of the strongest players at ENCE. They also need to improve their game and this transfer can be helpful for that.

what also feels good is seeing Nongshim Red Force finally putting an end to their 8 game losing streak

They haven't been successful at all despite having a wonderful player like m0nesy.

rest of the team has been underpeforming, and when they're actually playing good (more like relying on m0nesy flicks or Niko clutches), they choke in the big stages,, they need to improve team cohesiveness, otherwise, they'll keep relying on their big stars only to fall short when it matters

A new development in the g2 team, jks has joined the team. I made a post about Hunter in the past days, G2 had released the Hunter. A new transfer was expected. There were a lot of discussions about who will be the new transfer, names such as Spinx and Yekindar were being talked about. Honestly, I wasn't expecting the Jks transfer. Jks is a type of player that I like, it may be the right decision for G2.

US always giving problems to some countries, not gonna say it is without reason but I somehow always expect exemptions in situations like this and then get disappointed when I realize that sports competitors have to go trough similar procedure as everyone else. Shouldn't there be some extremely temporary visa just for the competition length that participants could acquire in an easier manner?

I used to think about exemptions too instead of the common 30-day visa if in case they don't like the player. DOTA 2 majors are big and popular events and it's a shame US authorities are making it difficult for its participants to attend. I am not sure if Valve is also helping players having visa issues but I do hope they communicate with host nations when it comes to issuing visas.

I had Gen G -1.5 as well and with all these clean wins coming from them it'll be interesting to see their second series against T1 this weekend.

I'm thinking of pulling the trigger on a multi between Kwangdong and Damwon @1.80 since the handicaps are too risky to go for as Damwon's last two series went through all three maps while Kwangdong is on a 4 series losing streak.

Thunder is pretty much on a higher tier than Beastcoast recently, although bc is still a great game dominator from the SA region. It's just that most of the time they fall off mid-game and they can't take a good grasp of their lead resulting into downfall. :/

As for the Chinese qualifiers, pretty sure it will be Aster that will get that spot considering that most of the teams in their bracket are div 2/div 3 teams with not enough experience fighting against tier 1/2 teams.

Currently there's news spreading right now which is one of the best Team in the NA the Evil Geniuses is withdrawing their slot with the ESL Malaysa due to having a Visa issue, tons of teams right now are having problems with their processing of Visa that's why some of them really cant compete at their own potential because of having a rooster changes for the players travel.

Too many issues and stand-ins for this upcoming PGL Arlington major. I hope that Valve will just get out of the US when another major comes soon or after TI.

US is too strict on their visa issuance even if there's a valid reason or if Valve would like to still stay with the US hosting their majors. They should help and back up the qualifying teams and players and help them approve their visas.

Good thing is that TI isn't going to be in the US because if it does, for sure there are too many issues and many qualified teams and players are incomplete.

Dang only 1.85 in Rollbit but yeah this is pretty much the only decent game that I would bet and watch. The other game pretty much are kinda unpredictable because alot can happen in qualifiers tournament
