Fnatic really sucks when they are incomplete, I didn’t notice that they are playing in complete lineup until I check it on liquipedia by myself after checking the result. Group A is kinda one sided and full of sweep matches. Aster, Entity, and Secret are establishing their dominance over their group. It is exciting to see which of these three will drop their first game tomorrow.

Group B is more balance with having OG as the only team getting a sweep.

I honestly think that eternal fire will qualify for the rmr main qualifier by eliminating its opponent. The maps have been announced; Vertigo, dust2 and nuke. I think it was a very good choice. Eternal fire is a solid team, I still remember cheering for Space Soldiers. I wish they could retain that brand name instead of Eternal fire.

I laughed hard with the odds you are showing. Maybe 1.30 +/- something for a -1.5?

Or maybe it is what it is because Aster is showing very strong recently. A solid third place in Arlington Majors and at the moment it is also unbeaten although not against strong teams. Alliance meanwhile is like a dead team with so far no wins over tough teams. Another negative factor is Alliance is also playing with a sub.

OG, Aster and Entity are my favorites to win this tournament. But I would love a SEA team to win too.

I took Aliance to take one map @5.1, it dropped a little now and I still expect to lose that bet but anything can happen in one map. Eternal fire prolonged the match on his chosen map when he had a chance to finish earlier. Fortunately, this extension did not affect the nuke map much. With a very fast and beautiful game on the nuke map, he won 16-3 and qualified for the rmr main tournament.
We saw an unexpected performance from Ios kogutos. But unfortunately it wasn't enough for them to eliminate astralis.

I'd like to start my words with congratulating Eternal Fire first.

Thankfully they managed to move ECSTATIC out of their way even though they lost the first map of BO3. Especially the match on Nuke was something else. They never let ECSTATIC to join the game psychologically and ended them. I think this was a good sign about the new roster. After adding MAJ3R and paz they needed some time to increase the chemistry. Of course there were familiar faces for them like XANTARES and woxic which helped them adapt quicker.

However the team still have some problems to fix before RMR. I remember the Space Soldiers times. Nearly all of those players are here again so this makes me excited about the future of this team. If they deal with these issues before the tournament then hopefully they can be more successful compared to their last Major adventure.

New patch was perfect opportunity to place some bets on underdogs to take at least one map. Played that market a lot today and ended up in nice profits. I lost some tickets but majority of single bets passed as well as this multi I am sharing here:

It was emotional for me to see two Turkish teams making it to the Minor. Eternal Fire isn't a big surprise because they already have a great roster to beat all of the opponents in the qualifier stage. However Sangal's success was way better than I expected. After seeing Entropiq against them I just thought that Sangal would leave their chance to the next qualifier. Entropiq are a way stronger team but Sangal played really bravely and this carried them to the Minor.

But I still think that the Minor can be very difficult for Sangal. Even seeing only Eternal Fire in the Major without big problems would be enough for me.

I'm still questioning the decision about benching xfl0ud. But things are going well for now. I hope imoRR stops taking meaningless risks completely in time. He did this so many times in the past and this was really hurting the team. I know that he likes this style in FPL but he should be very disciplined as for team matches. This is the only way of beating top tier teams in tournaments.
