I think that BIG can benefit from G2's current condition and eliminate them. But as for a score prediction, I'm favouring a 2-1 BIG victory.

i agree this could go to BIG.
G2 to win @1.7 is such poor value, they haven't showed us anything that makes us think this match is winnable, it's quite the opposite actually they were total garbage in the group stage. BIG @2 is good value, though,, individually they're not as good as G2, but as a team i believe BIG looked much better in the previous stage

anyhow, watching EG - NIP right now. I have EG @8 odds waiting to see if i can cashout some good profits from the 500casino promo, but i already covered that ticket thanks to EG's stomp in map 2  

It looks like we believed in BIG's team performance too much.    I'm very surprised to see that G2 won by 2-0.

They won 16-8 and 16-7 on Vertigo and Dust2 respectively. These are very easy victories for G2 so there must be something really wrong with BIG now. I don't know how their performance can drop this much after having a great time period. I remember the match that they defeated FaZe in a big tournament which they were playing very good as a team. XANTARES was always talking about how much disciplined team BIG were about preparing various strategies for each one of their opponents. But now things are broken for them.

Hooxie wasn't even fragging, had only like 10 kills in total in THE entire match and yet they continue to win. A very surprising scoreboard.

anyhow, watching EG - NIP right now. I have EG @8 odds waiting to see if i can cashout some good profits from the 500casino promo, but i already covered that ticket thanks to EG's stomp in map 2  

In the second half of that second map, I thought NiP was about to make a solid comeback but EG snatch one round midway before NiP was able to stabilize their economy.

The LPL playoffs continue today and i'm expecting for JDG to win against TES, i'll probably go heavy on the over 3.5 @1.25 even though the odds are way too low I still doubt this series would go 3-0 for any side after what they've shown throughout the season. After this series, there's a one-day break again so Sunday is the next matchday and the same goes for the LCK finals. On the bright side we'd have the LEC playoffs on Saturday.

Sad day for OG fans, they fall to Secret from the top bracket. Team Secret showing top form with their new pos 1, Reso. The way they are performing right now, I think they are ready for TI Qualifier.
Game 2 of OG vs Secret match was exciting to watch. There is too much back and forth on the lead and there is no lack of team fights either. Even when Secret has the gold advantage, OG does not back down on team fights and was able to win a couple of team fights.

Not that sad for me.

I'm just happy to see Team Secret on shape and maybe on this one they'll win and reach the finals. For OG, if Nigma will win against TA then that will be hard for them on that bracket.

But if TA wins against Nigma, I guess that OG has already planned on how to beat them. I am not saying that TA is a weak team, it's just that they're likely a predictable team for them. Anyway, a few hours from now, 2 teams will be eliminated again.

As for Boom Esports, that's a lot of months that they've been busy with tournaments so their early exit is totally fine so they can prepare early for TI.

Isn't Nigma the easier team to beat for OG. They have already beaten Nigma in the group stage, 2-0. And Nigma does not have their pos 1, they only have Dreamocel as a stand-in. He gave some good games but he was shaky in this patch. Their match is just starting, let's see who will move forward in this tournament.

G2 started with a comfortable win in their match against Big. We can say they played with 4 players. Hooxi couldn't contribute much in terms of frag. Fortunately, other players showed extra performance and they managed to win. If Hooxi continues his performance like this, I don't think he can continue in G2 team for too long. Even though they have good players, they can't play with 4 players.

With this match up it is already in favor with the OG they have a good draft for initiation and chain stuns but they are lack with the executions of the clash,  because of too much losses in the clash the team secret manage to make a comeback also i guess they make some adjustment currently in the patch because we know the upcoming TI11 is coming of course new patch release and the teams must need to make an adjustment with these changes if they want to become part of the top 5.

There were some decent plays from Nigma to sort of bring it back but it seemed a bit too late. 2nd match, to me, it felt like Nigma had a better draft with ET there to counter Sven and QOP to happily kite Sven. Wasn't the case in the match though. Really well played by Thunder Awaken.

Best bet for OG vs Faze is 3 maps, close enough to go that way.  OG is a serious contender even if 10 ranks behind, bet should clear as valid any time before end of first map most places.   Faze should win but when everyone agrees and they are the standing major winner then the odds and risk vs upset means 3 maps is way more worth it imo though people prefer 'safe bets' only I guess

yeah that stuff fom yesterday was a BIG pile of dogshit lol i didn't watch the match but i saw Hooxie's stats and i'm surprised G2 were able to pulled that off while playing 4v5 the entire series... but hey, if the strats work then who cares about the bot in the team, right?

OG are very close to finishing the map they picked as the winner. But honestly I don't think that this would affect FaZe too much psychologically. FaZe are really great on the other maps. I remember their solid performance against even NaVi on Inferno for example. OG are an interesting team against the biggest fishes but I don't give them much chance about eliminating FaZe anyway.


By the way, ENCE have officially announced valde and SunPayus. They've benched hades and sent Spinx to Vitality before that as you know. I don't know about how good valde would be. But SunPayus is a great transfer because I think he is already one of the greatest AWP players in the game. He can be the best player who has got out of Spain.

OG are good on that Ancient map. especially their mid-round calls. Lots of angles to choose from when defending the site to not allow plants to happen. Nexa's calls are also on-point for the most part, but it is up to degster or f1ku if they can play their A-game on entry fragging and for the rest of the crew to keep that man advantage. FaZe is still a solid team too on all aspects and a lot of maps, and I also don't think they're worrying too much against OG who shines some games, but some matches, they're just meh.

Although, what I really think is OG will proceed and will win this series and will face Fnatic afterwards. Well, the game hasn't even started but let's see and if TA will show how underrated they are.

I'm shocked to see that FaZe lost to OG in the series by 2-1. There were many positive signs on Mirage. Inferno was also one of FaZe's best maps but OG won by 16-11 there. Nothing has ended for FaZe yet of course because they are going to be in the last chance stage. They're going to face Astralis-OG loser. FaZe hopefully wouldn't repeat their mistakes and use this chance for the benefit of themselves.

For Vitality - G2, I also think Vitality is a favourable choice. Maybe G2 beat BIG but it was due to BIG's being out-of-form in the recent times. Vitality are playing better as a team and not all of G2's players performed well in the last game. HooXi still needs to improve his game. Maybe he is the IGL but this score contribution was too low from him.

As for Liquid - NIP, Liquid might be able to win by a slight gap. NIP aren't having good days as they are struggling to beat even top tier teams recently.

They played very discipline DOTA against Nigma. Sven played very well and he only goes if it is a sure kill, otherwise, he keeps on farming. Nigma on the other hand is very chaotic and depends very much on Chrono, which has a very long cd. Without Chrono, they cannot secure a kill. Dreamocel has few lapses and keeps on using Chrono even on just one man. I barely saw him make multiple-hero Chrono.

If they play as disciplined as they did against Nigma, they may have a chance. Only OG is very different from Nigma.  And OG defeated them 2-0 in Arlington, just a few weeks ago. I am sure OG will be the one moving forward in this match.

Agree. At first, I was skeptical about this new lineup of G2. But since they're new, have to give them some time to adjust and train strats together.
But now after quite some time already but this lineup shows nothing new or improvements to justify this change.
Hooxi is an igl so I don't blame him much for underperforming but if his calls give no tactical advantage for G2 then really a wasted spot. Just as I suspect before, Hooxi might just be a ham igl for Niko to overstep the igl calls. First half ended at 11-4 for Vitality. Don't see any chance for G2 to turn around with this score. G2 is going downhill fast.

Poor mOnesy, the kid has to carry his teammate G2 full time now.

Yeah they were decent but Nigma is just bad and Nigma is playing with a Stand-in so it could be different when Nigma play with their full lineup but yeah overall they are just decent enough for top 8.




Pretty unsure on what should I bet on as both my bets today was busted as I took over 2.5 maps for the lower bracket so here I thought that it would be better to take OG -1.5 against TP. SA teams are pretty much on a lower level compared to EU teams so I think this is a pretty reasonable bet as OG is quite the power house of this tournament

It was a huge day for Liquid. I was expecting to watch a very close series between them and NIP honestly. I was still seeing Liquid one step ahead of course because there was a visible drop in NIP's performance in the recent times. Liquid didn't even give one map to them. oSee, YEKINDAR and EliGE were the most impressive players today. Especially EliGE and YEKINDAR played extra on the second map by 34 and 33 kills.

It has been a really big improvement in Liquid's performance. Their ranking at the beginning of the season was even more than 200th. But now they are the 8th biggest team in the world. Achieving this in less than a year is not an easy task for any team so it's a wonderful job.

I reckon about the teams in the group A. That bracket seems easy unlike on group B where most the actions are being done. OG, Nigma, Fnatic, Boom, TSM, Team Liquid. These are good teams and Boom has to say goodbye and the same goes for Team Liquid.
The remaining teams for the playoffs were already set. Currently, at the top bracket. Fnatic against Team Aster is already 1-0 in favor of Aster and OG against Team Secret 1-0 in favor of OG.

And it's done. Team Secret and Aster won 2-1 and they will move forward already securing a minimum 3rd place for them. All the teams I was rooting, they lost. OG is still favored to beat Nigma or TA but Fnatic will be facing the winner of 2 tough teams Entity and TSM.

Fnatic is already in and secured top 4. While Team Aster and Secret, they'll have a match again at the top bracket and both of them have secured top 3 already. So, win or lose, they're going to the lower bracket yet with secured top 3. Less than a day and we'll see these 4 teams clash again.
First, OG and Thunder Awaken then Team Aster and Team Secret. And whoever wins with the match of OG and Thunder Awaken will have to face Fnatic.

Vitality-G2 match ended 2-1 and Vitality won easily on Vertigo and İnferno maps. In the Inferno match, G2 made 7-4 out of 7-0 in the Inferno, but hooxi constantly made entries, g2 had to play 4 people in most rounds. As a result of the match, Hooxi had 2-21 kd in Inferno. He had a good clutch in Monesy Inferno. Vitality was in a 7-0 streak before taking that round. This match was not difficult to predict, it was obvious that things were not going well with G2's new five.
