Yeah, it was pretty much a one-sided beating. But at least a lesser team knocked down 9 Pandas all the way to the lower bracket. I see some potential in Klim Sani4, although they lost to VP they gave a good fight. I guess they'll be facing a 9 Pandas again or NAVI before facing VP for the region's second slot. BetBoom should clearly get the first slot.

The region needs more teams. But it's still interesting who gets the slot between the Falcons and Quest. It'll be a Saudi vs Qatar rivalry, both are super rich and seem willing to spend a lot of money to show dominance. I want to see the other ultra-rich countries of Bahrain, Oman, Kuwait, Abu Dhabi, and Dubai funding their own teams as well.

I agree that we need more team from this region and there is no problem with organizations there because it's one of the rich regions in the world. But it's also about how known the esports in this region and only a few of them exists and one support from the Saudi's crown prince is what making this region good.

I believe there are a lot of esports enthusiasts in the region and it will continue to grow. And this season the Riyadh Masters could be the biggest prize pool in DOTA 2 so it may get more exposure worldwide. Qatar's PSG Quest is so far dominating the region but Saudi responded by upgrading Team Falcons with proven international players.

Team Secret has a worse team than last season IMO. I even thought Alliance could win their series. I am betting on Tickles to knock them out for good.

And another coincidence that OG and Team Secret are going to have a rematch in the lower bracket too.

A lot of rematches going on. In the SEA, the final match is also a rematch between Geek and Blacklist. I have bets on OG and Geek. Still, a lot of games at the same time even if a lot of teams were already knocked out.

In fact, it’s hard to rise in the rankings, even an excellent player, for example, with 3k MMR, will not rise to 7k because of the toxicity you’re talking about. It is better to calibrate to a very high MMR and, having gained a foothold there, continue to increase it.

What region you are playing because is the worst region of all if we are talking toxicity level. I quit playing Dota2 long time ago because of this toxic environment in my region. I’m busy already on my work that time and doesn’t catch on meta of the game that’s I’m just playing casual on a low rank game yet players even noob still talk shit like they are so good when you do some minor mistakes that already come to the point of cursing my family. This is when I started to quit playing this game anymore because we are playing to have fun yet most of the players like their life depends on it even low rank.

I really missed Dota 1 which has a simpler gameplay and less toxicity. Dota2 is too much to handle for user like that is not fully committed on gaming. 

I playing in the CIS region, it is probably the most toxic of all. But I repeat that I play without the sound of teammates unfamiliar to me or with friends in discord where no one screams, so I’m happy with Dota 2.

You should try changing region to SEA sometimes.  All the players here literally want to play carry and blame each other all throughout the game in form of typing and mic while still playing. Topson even acknowledged it on his social media that SEA is the worst when change region before.

I played Dota 1 before, and of course there was practically no toxicity there, but now I wouldn’t go into it because for low graphics and low capabilities of items, skills, heroes. Players even at low rank will scream, this is a common process for gamers, I'm not surprised.

Yeah the graphics is kinda sucks because our standards is already high due to Dota2. But I’m still enjoying Dota 1 since I’m comfortable on the gameplay even though I’m only playing with AI extreme mode.

I hope that they will revamp to improve a little bit the graphics since there’s still developing it with same feature to the Dota2. I’m just not sure if this is still official release from Ice frog but items and skills is updating.

Congratulations to Blacklist Rivalry Dota 2 team, they've won the grand finals against Geek Fam(Slate). They're the SEA team that's qualified for the ESL Kuala Lumpur Malaysia. The map reached to map 4 and I thought that the momentum was already built by Geek Fam when they've won so ez at map 1.

And speaking of the China region, it is going to be IG (Invictus Gaming) that's going to go to the ESL Kuala Lumpur as well. They're the team that managed to win the slot on their region.

AFAIK, icefrog has been hired by Valve to focus with the development and changes/logs for Dota 2. But maybe he still gets to touch some ideas and contributions to Dota 1. Actually, in our accounts, we can also review the reported games and verify if the report is accurate. That's what I do every time I log in and review some few games and I hope that Volvo hires me for this.  

Boosting still exists, but not as much as before. In fact, I never understood why there was any interest in buying an account with a high mmr, and then spoiling others with my weak game. This is very stupid.

It's all about the experience and thinking that their level will be up to the real high ranks on that particular rank for the bought account. Honestly, it's just best to stay where you are and upgrade your rank through your playstyle natural. Because the fun is gone if you're not the one who achieved to rank up.

I watched some program in which one of the princes of Saudi Arabia talked about why he buys famous players and organizes tournaments more and more often. In short, he views it as an investment. I think we will continue to see many players drawn there.

Saudi Arabia really doing their best becoming the hub for all the best things in life and I am happy for it, I hope that when this happens that traveling and going in a vacation should not get expensive, I really want to see Saudi Arabia even if they are a really strict country to travel to. Well they might or they might not and that would depends on sponsorship as well as if there are some organizations that are willing to move into MENA. I think the way Valve scraped the dpc probably was to let them host another system that will include MENA region into it so yeah we'll see on this one. I kinda believe that Riyadh Master will still be a top tournament with highest prizepool but to stick at $15M or even higher will cost them alot of money

Yeah and as they qualify, they're building this region as one of the best for sure. Whilst this region is going to be one of the interesting ones these days, thanks to the government that's fully supporting their moves.

Yeah, they lost to 9Pandas and what's good is that 9Pandas also beat Virtus.Pro and they have taken the 2nd slot for the EEU region. That's a good beating for them when the one that they've fallen apart was the one to qualify for the ESL KL.

The team in SA that qualifiers to ESL is kind of weird team name but I'm familiar with two players there, Darkmago and Pandaboo.

9 pandas and Eternal fire will face tomorrow in the final of the Pari Please tournament. We saw the difference in how good Eternal Fire is in Lan tournaments. They are very effective as they do not have ping problems. Teams like Furia and MIBR could not advance to the finals. Especially the extra frags made by Xantares attracted attention. He is not called LANTARES for nothing, rest assured, there are not many players who can aim for him under equal ping conditions. I trust EF in the final, I'm thinking of a bet, to be honest, the odds are around 1.70, it doesn't look bad at all.

Actually, 9Pandas is no doubt stronger than VP but the performance they have not just on this qualifier but also during the TI was impressive. I have just noticed that ramzes turned into an offlaner on this qualifier without miero. I don't know if he's on a break temporarily or he's been kicked and Vtune has replaced his as their position 1 for this ESL qualifier.

You had to bet on 9P with a large odds, because most bookmakers believed that VP was the favorite in the last game.
But what else I noticed was that the two well-known bookmakers had different odds, if I understood everything correctly. I wonder if it was possible to bet on the victory of 2 different teams with odds above 2 or am I missing something)

I was out of the loop in CS2 pro scene for a few weeks now, but have they fixed the crazy glitches and the hitboxes not registering properly in certain agent models? It still happens in my games and I don't think it's a good betting experience if your team gets demolished in a round because of those glitches. Also, I watched the highlights of this game you linked and it was pretty close. Vitality won the series after getting enough steam to take off on the 2nd half of the third map. Good executes from their T side even with the array of flashes that Complexity throws to deter the site taking.

The second map is just too close. That bet could have won if Vitality had the patience to hold sites and not try to cover as much ground as possible.

It's always like this. Valve always nerfs what they need to nerf. Going with some tournaments now as with Pinnacle 25 years anniversary. There's a 10-day matches for all the group stages. That's a long one and 8 teams are going to be eliminated as they proceed to the playoffs. The prize pool isn't a lot but this is a good alternative to watch in the EU region and see some potential players. So the child prodigy named, satanic is playing for the yellow submarine. Let us see on how they're going to end on this tournament.
