ESL released a statement about DOTA TV and streamer guidelines. If someone doesn't know what it is? The main stream of tournaments like for ESL tournaments should only be watched on ESL main streams on Twitch. But what happened is that there are other streamers that sets a watch party and watches directly on those ESL streams and streams that on their channels. Here's their statement --> https://esl.com/dota2/community-streaming-guidelines/

Well, it will eventually happen though. Just imagine how many thousands of viewers these individual streamers are getting from the ESL main streams that it hurts them revenue-wise.

IMHO, they can stopped it. If they take actions ban those streamers that are going on their main streams, these banned streamers will easily make a new account and rinse and repeat. They won't be able to stop it but what they can do is to partner with these streamers and at least give them some profits and get the royalty that they deserve from those streamers. It's win-win for both of them.

Have you been following Counter Strike 2 tournaments lately? I haven't been able to catch up with them for a long time and I'm quite surprised with the current standings. I mean there are some really interesting changes in top 10 rankings on HLTV. I see MOUZ in 3rd position and Virtus.pro two positions below them. Seeing Monte in 6th position isn't very surprising though. Because before staying away from tournaments this long Monte were already doing impressive things. They were like a giant killer. Complexity and Falcons are also in top 10 which is surprising. I've always known Complexity as not much better than an average team. I don't even have much knowledge about Falcons.

It is still pretty early into the CS2's journey as an eSport. I honestly stopped playing as it's filled with cheaters at the moment and there are a lot of inconsistencies with the game overall. Also, S1mple is taking a long break from the game for similar reasons and waiting for more updates that will polish the game. At the moment, Vitality is at the top followed by Faze. So, not much has changed from the CS Go days.

It seems like 9Pandas finally found a POS3 ( offlane ) for them by getting Albert "Alberkaaa" Chernoyvanov but personally I didn't hear much about him before so I'm curious to see how he will perform in the next coming games. Also , replacing Miero won't be easy as he made a correct move by going to BetBoom this winter.

I don't know that guy but seems to be a young talent. While they have a new pos 1 too named darklord. With miero, kiyotaka and ramzes' transfer. The team has to do a rebuild. We'll see on how this team will be on the noise again as they are still lack of one player for their mid position. Still, they have a solid support tandem, Solo and Antares.

Should be interesting to see how they do this season and their road to TI. EEU isn't really stacked, tbh(other than Team Spirit). So, they have a decent chance to qualify again.

On Monday the Blast Premier Spring 2024 group stages are starting. It's been now already a few months since all the pros are playing with the new CS2 in tournament format and I would say the transition went alright. There were some surprises of weaker teams doing really well, but now I think the more experienced teams will be pushing back to the top. The first match is going to be G2 VS NiP. Both teams have been struggling a bit with CS2, but I think G2 has the clear advantage here in a best of 3 setup. The second match will be NaVi vs Complexity, where I am going to put my money on NaVi. Even though they had some roaster changes and their team is a bit new, they have doing really well in the last month. The third match of the day is going to be Vitality vs OG, which probably going to be the most one sided match of the day. OG is a decent team, but they are not on the same level. Vitality is currently the strongest team in CS2 with a 8 games winning streak. And the last match of the day will be Astralis vs Falcons, which is probably the closest match of the day. For me Astralis is the stronger team, but I am probably not betting on the match. Both teams beat NiP recently and in there last match-up against each other Astralis won 2-1.

I still have to wait and see on how this roster will go on. There will always be the ups and downs of a certain team and also in a particular region. On the upcoming BetBoom Dacha Dubai 2024, it's nice to see that Team Spirit is going to be seen play again and since you've mentioned them, I hope that they don't get rusty this time because it's quite a long vacation for them. As for the 9Panda's, I still consider them as one of the strong teams with their name but let's see with their completed roster if it's still gonna be the same.

Meanwhile , 9Pandas are having a solid team in CSGO but overall , the entire Russian zone and Eastern europe are back on CS Go stronger than ever. Now , back to Dota , you're right. 9pandas had to rebuild almost their entire team but keeping solo was a wise idea ? because we all know he is the inventor of "322" when he bet against his own team a couple of years ago. Great to hear that their new player is actually a talent and has already a reputation in Dota 2 pro scene and I will watch 9pandas as much as I can if they will actually qualify for a major or DreamLeague at least.

He was forgiven already with the 322 that he has started and I think with vast experience from biggest tournaments especially in TI, he's still a good addition as pos 5 to any EEU team. So if he stays with 9Pandas, he's likely the captain of it with the new roster. IMHO, this is what the teams should be if they're starting out with a new roster. I remember when kiyotaka and miero are unknown to the scene but they've molded it.

Today the last two matches of the BLAST Premier Spring Groups 2024 are being played. So far in the four groups Vitality, FaZe, NaVi and Virtus.pro dominated and reached the first place respectively. Now the four group final losing teams have to play an elimination match for the 5&6 place to reach the Spring Finals directly. The losers have to go to the Spring Showdown matches first. The first match of the day will be Astralis vs BIG in a best of 3 match. Usually I am a fan of BIG and like to put some money on them, but Astralis played quite well this tournament. They actually managed to beat Vitality 2-1 in the group stage, before losing to them 2-1 in the group finals. Astralis is definitely the better team at the moment and should have no problem winning against BIG today. The second match of the day is going to be G2 vs Team Liquid which should be won by G2 without a problem. Even though Team Liquid did quite well in the tournament and won a lot of there last several matches, they haven't faced such strong opponents as G2 has. Both G2 and Astralis should be advancing today.

I've been watching some of the ESL Birmingham qualifier matches recently and I thought it would be worth a shot to ride the wave of these two good teams (OG and Quest) with a combined 2.025 decimal odds. The map handicaps aren't available for the MENA match, so I settled with the series winner on PSG.Quest to increase the payout of my multibet. I still don't trust Nigma Galaxy to take the upset, as they had a close series against Winter Bear, who had a stand-in. Edit: Cashed the bet as both favorites had a clean 2-0 win.

Dota2: It's OG vs Tundra again in the ESL One playoffs and its best of 5! giving it the final vibes. Tundra are up 2 games to 1 at the moment and have whipped out meepo carry to close out the series. Meepo has become popular again and I think it is very strong even though Mageslayer has become a very important item for most cores.

Today the opening matches of IEM Katowice 2024 are starting and already in the group stage there quite a few nice matches happening. Unfortunately some matches are being played at the same time, so I won't be able to watch all the matches live today. The first match of the tournament will be Falcons vs Eternal Fire and G2 vs Heroic. As for Falcons, they are a pretty new team without much experience playing together, whereas the Turkish team have being playing together for a long time. I would probably go with Eternal Fire for the game, but since I know too little about Falcons, I will skip that match. Fo ther G2 vs Heroic match I am putting my money on G2. They are the much stronger team and should be winning easily today. The next match is probably the most one sided match of the day with FaZe playing against Rebels, there is no way FaZe is going to lose that match, but the payout is going to be very small. In the match NaVi vs Team Spirit it's going to be a really close one. Usually I would say that NaVi is the clear favourite here, but Team Spirit won a lot of their recent matches and are going to make it interesting, in the end NaVi should prevail here. With Complexity vs Apeks I am again a bit unsure which team to pick and will probably skip the game. The last game of the day will be Vitality vs ENCE, which will be won by Vitality without a problem. ZywOo is just such a monster that he is going to carry his team alone through the match.

Due to Valve's cancellation of the DPC, I seemed to have lost interest in DOTA. But today I am curious about what is happening in the DOTA 2 scene. So I'm surprised that aside from ESL, there seem to be more organizers stepping up with huge prize pools. This month alone, there are three huge events in Dubai, Russia, and the DreamLeague in Europe. And all of these events have million-dollar prize pools. Aside from Saudi Arabia which is now offering the biggest prize pool in DOTA 2, the Qatari government is also joining the scene. Qatar has partnered with ESB to stage 3 events this year alone with a potential total prize pool of $2.6 million. https://www.iloveqatar.net/news/sports/qatar-esports-federation-esb-top-events-leagues-dota-2024

The most anticipated game of Dota 2 will begin in about 3 hours from now and we have : Spirit vs Xtreme Gaming. Now , personally , I can't wait to see the clash of titans between Yatoro and Ame. I will install Dota 2 just to watch this game from their hub as I want to have a POV from Yatoro and Ame to see their farming patters when they play against each other. I also think 1-1 will be the score or we might have a big surprise and see Xtreme taking this 2-0

It seems Team Spirit is just way better than any team currently around. I guess they are going to win this tournament again most likely. Im going to bet on them tomorrow to win against BB though These damn bo2 group stage is totally killing me, I keep losing on this because I got some of those teams to win which ended up with a draw. Totally love the group stage to end as soon as possible so we can progress to the playoff stage indeed. If only they bring back bo3 group stage, it would be much more entertaining though
