Why is nobody complaining that I have not graded last week challenge and put up new one? I was sure I have done it and forgot all about it later on. It seems nobody here needs free bets

Anyway, I'll take care of it now and use only Sunday matches to give you all a bit more time to enter your predictions. Sorry.
New challenge should be up in couple of minutes.

OK I will do my best to complain but you know maybe that in gambling world if you are patient the casinos treat you nicer than the ones who don't.

Besides I have spent a lot of freebets chasing zeroes now especially as the last ones were won just before international break where I am betting based purely on odds. So now I think if I win something during those breaks I don't mind waiting for club action to restart, maybe that was the thinking behind the winners being patient? :p

Villarreal knows how to restrain opponents, and a draw is the most likely for this match, but still I think that Xavi has not yet managed to correct the situation in such a short time, because there is still much more talk than effect.

yeah, draw from Granada was not expected, but two goals from Granada in the first half were almost enough for a win
but, my boy, Maximiano scored goal to himself, and brought his team down, he was sliding back to goal line, and brought the ball with him, more bad luck than stupid move, but own goal is never easy to swallow

Trofo getting some good leads on the first 3 games. I made these picks quite early but now looking at them I don't really know why I didn't pick a draw for Valencia when they're quite good at doing that at home... still not so bad as Celta are in an acca I got.

i tend to avoid betting on events/leagues that i'm not familiar with, Segunda division falls in that category (i know the teams but i don't follow the league regularly), but, i get what you mean by good value, i suppose yo-yo clubs like Norwich or Espanyol could be great for these kind of bets

Norwich in Championship for sure 100%, but never in premier league (unless it's 25/1 like it was against City 2 seasons ago, I still have great memories of that heh).

But exactly. They're so shit, but because of their status, the bookies don't rate them, and then when they DO relegate, they're too good to stay down but bookies forget they're that good and keep giving them good value bets, especially away from home

This thing sounds unbeleavable, but yeah it's true. I wouldn't say that Villarreal is easy peasy for us, especially at El Madrigal, but somehow Barca managed not to lose against them for so long. And today's score 3:1 looks quite easy on paper, but it's not, considering that Villarreal made score 1:1 15 minutes until end of game. In Messi era probably it wouldn't be big deal, but for current Barca winning such game is big achievement.
Still, I'm a bit surprised that referee didn't gave penalty when Pique touched ball with hand.
@buwaytress, I already watch way too much football, so, following Segunda would be an overkill for me. I turn it on and makesome bets only when fight for spots in La Liga begins.

yeah, Barca scored two goals in last minutes, Villareal was usually easy, but I expected from them to hold today
what I did not see before the match is that this is Barca's first away win this season, somehow thought that Barca already won something on a side, but they did not before Villareal, and I would chase that win @2.7 for sure, if I was aware of that

shitty round for me so far, only Mallorca came as expected, changed Valencia from draw to win in last minutes, so double-zero, as a fan and in the pool (not betting on my favorite clubs)

Actually, I used to think this was the case too. I've never bet against Liverpool or my local team. Just can't bring myself to do it, even when value bets present themselves (cup games usually I'd say for Liverpool or when they're huge favourites just based on form). But the last time I discussed this with some sports gamblers, apparently there are many who bet against their team just so that if they lose, they at least have some consolation prize money. Hedging bets, if you will. I see nothing wrong with that ha.

Well it was about time I drop the points difference to the top at least for a few points. My plan in the pools is always to be in the striking distance of money positions before last few game weeks and then storm the table This pool needs some work, I am happy where I am in the other two.

Looking forward to Real game tonight, really want to see how good is Sevilla. They are getting the points but I feel like it is more a case of not so good competitors than their actual worth. We shall see tonight. My bet is on both to score to make it more interesting to watch.

You can't defend it, that's for sure, so you take advantage and go for more or you try to get them to play the game they don't want, which is to think in the end they can score late.

Anyway, all pointless to think Real are out of this season as some people on Twitter were saying earlier. Immediate question is if they can hold on to Benzema. That guy seems to be motivated by off-field happenings!

There were a lot of draws in all the leagues I did not expect, so even getting Barca win was not good enough for me as I failed on other parts of my multibet.

In any case, speaking of Sevilla, Jules Kounde helped 2 fans travel to see their next tie in Copa del Rey. Similar to Harry Kane recently who promised 2 fans who spent 31 hours travelling but Burnley game postponed, that they'll be watching the next game as his personal guests.

Totally agree man. I know for sure nowadays players have agents, and even some of them have other people managing their Twitter or social media, but for me, it's the thought that counts and even if it wasn't really Kounde or Kane who said those things (but I have a big feeling it's them or at least the original words came from them), it's positive and this is what club owners and coaches need to learn about

it is some kind of Andalusian derby and it is never easy to win over clubs that are geographically close to you
regarding your TV service, they probably did not plan a scheme where Sevilla has to go to overtime

and regarding Real last night, I won a bet @1.6 for a home win, was not sure that Real is going to win, but having Real at home @1.6 against any team other than Barca and Atletico is really a value bet

I think that reaching top4 position is Barca priority at the moment, and they will probably catch it in the end, not because they are great, simply because competition is pretty lousy, and there is no fourth team that can keep up until the end of the season, Sociedad seems as one at the moment, but they will be pulled down with a no-win series at one moment

it is up to Barca, but they will somehow managed to reach at least position 4, and Betis is probably a priority compared to Bayern, since Bayern is much better at the moment, and Barca hardly can avoid defeat in Munich

Really nice matches on paper so I made our free bet challenge all about La Liga this time. Hurry up with placing your predictions since first game starts quite early. Wanted to pick Sunday games but all the interesting ones are on Saturday and you guys started to be fast with placing predictions so I hope it will be enough time

I was just saying a week or two ago actually that Europa League would be not bad for us to play in, to train our youngsters and give us more time to develop. The prize money isn't great but if we really cut all our wage bills, we should be able to manage. I mean even United was there last few seasons too so that's not too bad.

Odds on Barca are around @1.5, that is big underestimation of Betis if you as me. My bet goes on Betis to score for sure if I get good odds on that and both to score, maybe even some x2.

Big difference between United and Barca is that United has money and plays in Premier League which gives them even more money on TV rights and other sponsorships. Barca is in debt and they need that Champions League cash to start turning things around. Europa league is basically a death sentence in this situation. I am thinking CL spot is first priority for Barca this season. Bayern is secure on first position so maybe they will go easy on Barca? I doubt it, but we can hope.
