I have officially given up and dumped my coins. Latest wallet sync's, then unsync's, works for some people, doesn't work for others, then stops working for people it did work for as blocks get higher.

The wallet needs a total rewrite from scratch and the devs are unwilling to pay anyone to do it and just hope the community does it for them. Well enough is enough. Voxelot got them a patched together wallet that would buy the devs a few days to code a proper wallet, but they can't be bothered. Well I can't be bothered to invest in or back this coin any longer. Do so at your own peril!

Pools and exchanges are fed up with all the crap and many of them have dropped the coin, or plan to do so very soon. The number of miners is pitiful(miners mean support for the network). A few investors continue to try and prop up the coin values, but are mainly trading among themselves and the few remaining miners.

Nothing more to see here, move along folks.

There are several different types of Bitcoin clients. The most secure are full nodes like Bitcoin Core, but full nodes are more resource-heavy, and they must do a lengthy initial syncing process. As a result, lightweight clients with somewhat less security are commonly used.

Time to see PoW devs. What's the plan? This coin will be P&D fodder without your community backing it, and they won't do that without reason to.

What would be awesome is to start a coin with all the guys who were helping even though they didn't have to. That was tight and I can see some good things coming from such collaboration, especially if there was larger motive to succeed. If that ever happens, PM me!

Ok, you dumped your coins. Everybody take the responsibility for his own wallet. Yours is empty, hope you will not be sorry about that ... or ... sorry ... I hope, you will be sorry about that  Grin

I reluctantly took .9btc profit, so I'm not sorry lol. I had hoped the devs would pull their heads out, but finally saw it for what it is and took the profit.

If anybody still has a problem when synchronizing:

Please read here: https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526513.0
and here
https://bitcointalk.org/index.php?topic=526513.2020

This works all fine now. I have also checked this a lot of times :-)
Also transactions from and to bittrex are very fast.

Has it been determined if the coin was forked, or problems due to dev error, or both? Safe to jump into the water now?

Hi friendly, all issues have now been fixed, the coin was forked at block 8500 and a new wallet was released. Everything should work fine if you use the latest wallet release, download link in first post.

Thanks. To be safe, I may just leave them on the exchange as it's not that much. Hopefully the wallet issues get fixed if I ever want to move them off the exchange.

The core problem hasn't been fixed and is unlikely to be fixed.........the devs. They got in over their heads, made huge mistakes, then went totally silent until the community stepped up and pulled their bacon out of the fire. This coin screams incompetence and lack of leadership, which is the core problem unlikely to be fixed.

At first I thought they were just shell-shocked and would pull their heads out, but their complete lack of care reeks in IRC chat.

Good luck with it, but I'm done. Peace out!

I do think, as previous posts claimed it, you try to send a large numbers of coins at once.
Try send 15000 coins max.

We are also experiencing the Transaction creation failed error message at our pools. I think it may be when it is over 500 coins.

I'm going to leave our pool running for now because it looks like everything else is working fine.

I'll have to run manual payouts for a while until the problem with the wallet is solved.

If you have outstanding (confirmed) balances at our pool then please PM me and I will process manual payments.

Thanks

bittrex doesn't work?

It is working fine, I had a bit of a delay with my last deposit but it then came through after about 20 minutes. I have messaged the site owners with the .conf file to use with their wallet to help it sync up faster so hopefully it will speed up a bit now.

Action on Bittrex looks ripe for pump in next day or two. Someone bought a lot of dumped coins this last two days, and they are going to want to profit from that.

If you are selling, I suggest raising your sell orders past 50 sats and staggering them out up the ladder. I am even gonna stick one hail mary at 150 sats and leave it there. =)

(Edit: Going out of town to have a baby. Be back in a few days. Hope to see some good news about this coin when I get back!)
