Just a quick update:

Mac Wallet has been stable and we have sent several rounds of transactions in and out.

We are now waiting to see it stake before building a static bundle eligible for download from our site.

Transactions must be included in a block to be properly completed. When you send a transaction, it is broadcast to miners. Miners can then optionally include it in their next blocks. Miners will be more inclined to include your transaction if it has a higher transaction fee.

I was wondering if there are any plans currently in action for promotion and marketing? The wallet seems nice and stable now and we are back up and running on Bittrex but there is very little interest being shown. This does not surprise me given the litany of problems that have had to be overcome in the past 5 months. Zach, please can you give us an outline of what is planned now that the basics are at last in place?

I second that... and it would be nice to change the thread tittle from PoW Ending Soon to Now Pure PoS or something like that.... or a new thread altogether ?

Looking good  Shocked  please add me on skype (Avocyn) as i'm trying to bring the water community together, will be a cozy group to pitch in ideas, collaborate and just share your views on water and what can be done to achieve our goal. Also Support and such will be provided to anyone who run into problems or just generally have questions.

We need to stand together as the community as we're the only thing that can make this happen.  Yeah awesome team/dev/coin but we need to show this to people and take it forward. Essentially we could make the world a better place for alot of people with little effort.

I've watched this coin since the beginning and only seen improvement so far. Dev and the team stood strong and endured such attacks and came out a victor. So only path now is forward, going full PoS only made this alot easier and will benefit the coin holders / contributors in alot of ways.

Donating towards water ? Why not stake it a bit so you can donate even more for less! Smiley

Time is now and it's your choice how til will evolve onwards

Get together and stand together, We are stronger as a whole!

Add me wherever you feel like

I agree! We've been so focussed on getting through this transition to PoS / New Wallets that it just kind of slipped my mind.

We'll get on that first thing next week Smiley

Coins I mine from pool.cleanwatercoin.org keep going missing! I've lost over 22k in unconfirmed coins which were previously confirmed in my wallet and sent deposits to Bittrex.com don't appear as pending or visible at all in some cases at all.

The pool operates constantly over 51% of the total network hashrate and I have been given notice by my wallet 1.04 that some of the coins that I've attempted to send to another wallet or the Bittrex.com exchange have been already spent. Really?

Something isn't right with this coin. It's wasting my valuable electricity. Quite disgruntled.

Perhaps contact Bittrex about any missing coins sent to them. Keep in mind they disabled the wallet for a few days as we updated the code.

Have you been mining today? Payouts are happening regularly and we haven't had any complaints -- even by that big guy on there now with 300mhs.

Thanks for your reply, but what about over 16K worth of coins in two wallets I have which are sitting in unconfirmed status sent from pool.cleanwatercoin.org? Those coins have nothing to do with Bittrex.com. Since the blockchain issue last week, they went out of confirmed in my wallet to unconfirmed and never returned. I ran repair wallet and only made 4K of 20K coins back. Honestly, I haven't spent them or sent 16K worth of WATER, yet I been given notices last week on my wallet they were already spent.

Is this the Blockchain issue last week or double-spending activity? I'm sorry, I really didn't want to voice these grievances for obvious coin progress reason, and I've tried to contact pool.cleanwatercoin.org support, but the form won't send/accept my messages.

Back when we had the double spend notice, the pool was sending us an alert every minute -- so there is a high chance that if you sent an email during that couple day strand, it could have been accidentally deleted... as I was literally just selecting all messages and deleting them.

Send me your WATER address and we will send you the 16k that you are missing.

If you could do that it would be much appreciated.

Wallet 1: 5fqrtibfkrsDoh27L9qzh3UEUWFTs7pEaJ
9500.0000000 unconfirmed

Wallet 2: 5Y3UgGXeHYpR2smV6B6NE8UUAvEtsRpmuU
7120.691982 unconfirmed

If you could be so kind to send the missing coins to the following Wallet 3 which appears to be working and is the same wallet address associated with the portdavenport mining account on 'pool.cleanwatercoin.org' it will be greatly appreciated.

Wallet 3 (Working/Preferred):  5o9D5FB9i5j6uFN6zdvhRv4jdYYLYHmLcs

portdavenport

You got it. As soon as we roll out the new wallets (likely tomorrow) we will get you taken care of!

Hi CleanWaterCoin,

I have now installed the 'cleanwatercoin wallet version v1.8.0.0' and finally been able to download the Clean Water Coin blockchain. Unfortunately, I still have unconfirmed coins as previously mentioned above.

Are you still able to transfer the '16000 WATER coins' you said you would take of in a previous message?

I lost 2 full days worth of mining hash directed in support of the official 'Clean Water Coin' pool (pool.cleanwatercoin.org), transactions: 24 May 2014 - 25 May 2014.

I never received the 16k WATER to my Clean Water Coin address:

Wallet 3 (Working/Preferred) address:  5o9D5FB9i5j6uFN6zdvhRv4jdYYLYHmLcs

It would be really appreciated to recoup our time and electricity cost.

Regards,

portdavenport

I sent it to you.

Looks like the first one was rejected due to staking coins already "spent".

Sent you 1000 which seems to have gone through, I'll send the remaining 15000 when you confirm. - SENT

Hey, now that WATER is no longer mineable, if you are looking for somewhere new to point your scrypt miners, take a look at MidasCoin, just launched! It looks pretty interesting and I'm giving it a go now that my hashes can't make me WATER!

Any ETA on the next update?

I'll happily donate some funds for a tipbot as suggested by youispeng, or as a bounty for a faucet.

Not sure if the sell wall upwards of 100 is to discourage pumpers, which in turn gives more time to accumulate coins. Yet we lack buy-support. Obviously this keeps speculators away somewhat, personally I'm currently getting some BTC just to add some support.

I'm a big fan of CWC's way of underselling the "product", which shows their dedication and seriousness for the non-profit organization they are.
It will probably also reward the people genuinely interested in doing good, people who had belief in the coin from the get-go.

Feel free to come with suggestions as to increasing awareness of CWC, even though the team probably has big things in store.

Here you go:

https://doabitofgood.com/saver/CleanWaterCoin.dmg.zip

Full disclosure -- there is a hard-wired donation address built into the new wallet -- for our purposes we have changed it from the default to our own https://doabitofgood.com/bit4bit of 5giverhUM5CCtQmvFRLzpYSCgEjwysC5Va

I have verified that it runs on:

+ Mac OS X 10.6.8 (32-bit)
+ Mac OS X 10.7.5 (64-bit)
+ Mac OS X 10.9.4 (64-bit)

Let me know if you have any issues?

Thanks for helping out!

It's been a week now since your last post, can you let us know what plans are in action for promotion and marketing please? Bittrex trading has dwindled to virtually zero, we need to raise awareness ASAP.

Thanks David, I really appreciate your help Smiley

Unfortunately, doabitofgood.com seems to be down.  I've tried it a couple of times now (both the link and home) and it still seems to be down.  Just wondering if I'm missing something or if you have any info.

Many thanks again for your help.

It's definitely up.  Likely a CloudFlare issue.  Can you tell me what IP address you're coming from?
