Clermont actually started pretty good with two wins and two draws but they will taste the loss today. Messi and other South American players will probably not play as they came late from national teams.

Clermont looks like not as an opponent which can steal points from PSG. PSG are dominating strong in Ligue 1 and it is a matter that how many rounds they will win the championship ahead of the final day of this season.

Messi has outstanding form with Arghentina and his best is here, so PSG will be able to get advantage from Messi in this season.

Neymar scored one goal for Brazil but I don't think he gets his best back. He is a bit overweight after the summer and might need more trainings to get rid of his fat first.

Maybe you can provide some details (for example, the reasons why they may miss the match) or provide a link to this news? I would be surprised at such an early stage of the season to hear about some serious problems in the team that would have gone right up to the missing matches by the leading players.

Argentina played today and Messi knocked Bolivia with 3 goals. Brazil also played its qualification game and Neymar scored a goal vs Peru. So no doubt they will not be ready for tomorrow's game vs Clermont regardless of any other circumstances.
BTW Lille game is almost over and the result is 1-1 draw vs Lorient. Red carpet for PSG this season for the title apparently.

Despite Beaching their top players for their Champion League match against Club Brugge on Wednesday, they are still leading against Clermont in the first half with 2 goals. Herrera scored the both goals, and I think more goals will also be scored in the second half. I literally thought Clermont will take advantage of the situation and win or draw the match. But it seems Clermont will be beaten brutally.

Even tho PSG is playing with the second squad they dominated Clermont. I think no one can match even the power of PSGs second squad in this league. This league is just weak and i think at half-season this season will be already won by PSG. Also PSG saving player for the champions league.

They are much stronger than the rest of the teams in the league that they can get an easy win even without some of their best players.

I look forward to seeing the main and full squad of PSG this season. We do not yet know which 11 players will be included in coach Pocchettino's main squad. He has a lot of talented players. We do not know which of the two goalkeepers Navas and Dannarumma will be the main goalkeeper. However, it looks like next week we will see Messi, Neymar, Mbappe Ramos and Donnarumma together in the team.

For some reason, I cannot find the bookmakers' odds of winning the French championship, I think the odds will be something like 1.1-1.05 on PSG winning.
