This should be an easy win for Lens as they are playing against a weaker team who sit at 15 on the league table. Paris FC had only manage to win just match In it's last five games. For a committed and focus team like Lens who is looking forward in claiming the league title from the long run champion (PSG), I think Paris FC should not be an hinderance to his success.

I thought PSG would be able to continue their winning streak for a  long time and also occupy the top spot of the table. But psg stumbled in the away match against rennes. PSG  lost 3-1 . It is difficult to accept such a result. PSG had 69 % ball possession. They also attacked more. But even then they could not score more than one goal. The poor performance of PSG's defenders is one of the reasons for their defeat. If lens can win the away match against Paris today, they will be able to occupy the top spot of  the table. But if the match is drawn, psg  will be at the top of the table.

Lens did it yesterday, proving to us to be capable. The margin was much, imagine 5-0. I never expect such a huge win from Lens. Now they are sitting on the top. I believe Lens will try their best to stay at the top for long even if they may later fuck up at the end to lose the trophy to PSG. Lens has made this league so challenging for PSG this season.

This is a bad year for PSG. Lens, on the other hand, continues to fight with their never-ending spirit. Indeed Lens took advantage of the opportunity that PSG availed them as a result of their shock defeat they suffered over the weekend, but I wonder how long Lens can hold on to this lead considering how slim the margin is, it is very much possible that PSG would suffer more defeats when the season becomes more intense with the UCL games. Therefore, I expect Lens to continue to maintain this lead till PSG slips again.

And here I am waking up to these two days old news..I need to check the match replay I am crossing my fingers to see that Rennes actually won it fair and sqare as that 1/3 possession in that stats is telling me something else!

But yeah, figures, PSG beat Marseille, Rennes lost to Lens, hard to see why not giving those odds.

This makes me think and further proves that Lens current performance is no fluke. They have truly experienced significant improvement this season. In fact, they have maintained their consistency which has kept them in first place in the standings. Although Lens isn't as financially wealthy as PSG, they have a strong fighting spirit. PSG defeat to Rennes further proves that they underestimated Rennes. We can see that PSG players were too individualistic, not passing the ball and preferring to shoot without considering accuracy. But what is clear is that PSG defeat makes the Ligue 1 trophy race even more interesting and intense.

Lens is in a better position than psg  in ligue 1. PSG is keen to do well in both the champions league and ligue 1 platforms. So due to  the busy schedule, their performance is likely to become more irregular in the future. On the other hand, lens only target is to keep their performance stable in ligue 1. They have given their  full focus on ligue 1. And this is why they are able to perform well consistently in ligue 1. They also have the ability to win the ligue 1 title.

You are right, Lens took advantage of the same opportunity as PSG, which resulted in them once again overtaking PSG and regaining the top spot in the table. However, yesterday Lens achieved the feat of going top by incredibly beating Paris FC 5-0 and we noticed that they were a much more dominant team in that game, and there was a hunger for victory within this Lens team. From what I saw, the visiting Lens team started to show an offensive tendency from the 24th minute of the match, and they took complete control of the match against Paris FC and earned three points. It is also true that at this moment it's very possible that PSG will face more defeats as the season becomes more intense with the UCL match but we don't think Paris Saint-Germain will give Monaco a chance to win the first leg of the upcoming UCL play-offs  game.

PSG will be able to catch up with the whole position except if the point difference expands too broad beyond that which they can cover in the space of the games they have remaining before the end of the season and then they do not have any form of injuries or some other unforseen circumstances that does befall teams.
