PSG loss tonight paved the way for Lens to climb to the top of the Frencb Lig 1 table with 1 point Head of PSG. I like this development to make this league more competitive and not one in which we know the winner from the beginning of the season. Despite playing away, I'm confident that Lens overrun Paris to climb to the top of the league table. It is quite funny how PSG could beat Marseille 5-0 and lose to Rennes.

Should we still have hope for PSG because with the way they are playing now I think Lens will have an opportunity to climb up, I'm beginning to feel somehow or is it that there time has come to an end, because the same player that play last season are still around and they could not be able to make any improvement to fix how they perform last season. Lens fans will be very happy but let's see whether they will see it as an advantage by winning their match so that there will be ahead with a point different

It was really shocking to see PSG lose to Rennes 3–1. PSG even fielded their best squad, including Kvaratskhelia and Dembele. On the other hand, Rennes had been on a losing streak before this match, so it was surprising to see them perform at their absolute best against a stronger team.

At first, I thought PSG would still win even if Rennes put up a good fight, but the result was truly beyond our expectations. Luckily, I bet on the BTTS option and won my bet.

This defeat also gives Lens a chance to close the points gap.

I initially thought they would benched some of there starters for there Champions League playoffs coming next week midweek period but they started there best and was trashed, I honestly don't know what went wrong but that result is indeed surprising atleast your bet was actualized so you have something to be grateful for.

Lens may have an opportunity to go ahead as they will be be playing Paris FC, but it isn't easy because Paris FC has shown to be a menace and quite unpredictable.

apart from making the bettors losing their money, PSG risks to see its first place taken by Lens since they have an easy game.
PSG in fact dominated the game but the players were inefficient while Rennes had lesser appearances but they profited from most of the occasions to score. This match was their first victory after many defeats and draw while PSG defeat came after successive victories..

If you try to look at it and rationalize how these kind of performances do come about in football, you wouldn’t have much trust in the game of football.

I didn’t start the game and joined up after I saw PSG to be a goal down to Rennes, I thought they would bounce right back with Dembele right there in front and instead, Rennes raised the stakes to a second goal with a good header from a corner set piece, certainly what I wasn’t hoping to see but there it was, unraveling.

Dembele quickly got a goal and brought me under the impression that they could still get something from this game only for them to concede a 3rd goal and by then, the game was over for them.

I never saw this coming, PSG lost to a smaller side again this season, honestly I wish that Lens don't have too much lost games to continue to stay at the top. Lens have a bigger opportunity to go back as league leaders that's if they can get a win against their next opponent (Paris FC). With the pressure they came with still Rennes refused to break and this is a sign that the Ligue 1 could be having a different champion this season.
Lens might struggle in their game against Paris FC that's if they underestimate the, all I expect is for them to start pressing attack from the first half, never to give them breathing space but if the relax in this encounter, we could be seeing this game end in a draw and Lens shouldn't allow Paris FC to take the lead at any time if not it will be hard to come back.

Truly it’s shocking to see PSG perform like this, I mean how they be playing this bad it is it hard luck?….., They’re gradually turning weak. This is the same team that won the champions league last season.
This performance makes one ask lots of questions about the team, are they still fatigued or not recovered well for those coming back from injuries.
Now it’s an opportunity for Lens to take over the lead if they can win their next game…!

Just exactly how it happened, that's how... Look, football is more deeper than what y'all take it for sometimes. A team that's trying to secure a good spot for at least, the UCL will do anything in their home stadium to a defeat any team at all, let alone PSG that has an E
UEFA champions League playoff match against Monaco in a few days. You might feel like it's supposed to be different, especially since they're both from the same local league, but the UCL is a different competition, with a different structure of play.
As for Lenz taking over, that's not even possible in 2 losses as there's a big difference statically on the table.

I thought PSG would be able to continue their winning streak for a  long time and also occupy the top spot of the table. But psg stumbled in the away match against rennes. PSG  lost 3-1 . It is difficult to accept such a result. PSG had 69 % ball possession. They also attacked more. But even then they could not score more than one goal. The poor performance of PSG's defenders is one of the reasons for their defeat. If lens can win the away match against Paris today, they will be able to occupy the top spot of  the table. But if the match is drawn, psg  will be at the top of the table.

PSG performance of last season looks very different from what we are seeing this season, they are losing too much for a team that is aiming to retain the championship and from  what is happening now it's obvious they will not win the league this season because Lens will be ahead of them should they their game and maintain their consistency till the end of the season. Rennes was good in the game they made sure they secured the victory by scoring 3 goals and they finally won, PSG will be more careful because it they don't win the league they are not sure of winning the champions League too.

Paris is one of the weakest teams in ligue 1. But this team is unbeaten in the last  four matches. And this match is also paris's home match. Paris won against psg . They also shared  points with teams like Marseille. So this team cannot be underestimated.

Even if lens is strong, it will not be easy to win against Paris. Paris will probably play defensively and try to share  the points in the match. If Lens can't play attacking strategy then their chances  of winning are very low. It will be difficult for lens to break paris's defense.

Is a match of settling scores between the high raising teams but if PSG doesn't settle it with Lens and get defeated the second time Lens will start another leading on the league, till now PSG is struggling away from Lens and whatever they do Lens always comes with a consistent points so with victory gives them three points and with what they have now it gives them 52 points and PSG will be 51 point behind, this will be a match that will have a bad impact to whichever side that got the lost of the day but with draw they are back to there table with the same difference, I even thought by now our French league champion would be ready for the trophy but unfortunately is not yet.

I really can not tell who was brought in as the new manager for Rennes but he had a quick impact already and will not be forgotten in a rush. I was left stunned with those amazing goals man,  the champions of Europe demolished brutally.

This is not the best way to prepare for a champions league game ahead against one of the arch rivals in the league. They'll be facing Monaco who also found a way to win. They should recover now, the midweek games will be super interesting. Might be the chance for lens today

The defeat of PSG does give way for Lens to rise in the ranking but I'm not sure Lens can stay at the top of the standings until the end of the season because the difference in points between Lens and PSG is only small which can suffer defeat at any time and PSG takes over again, you may start to doubt PSG because you see PSG current performance which looks less enthusiastic. But the season is not over for PSG and we know what this club is like that can always put pressure on anyone who stands in their way, just look at PSG will still lift the League 1 trophy this season.
