One thing that will hardly happen is seeing PSG drop points this season. Normally, in previous seasons, PSG didn’t even have this close points gap with any team, but this season is different. That will make PSG prove the point that they are still the dominant in the league, and nothing will make them lose points now to give Lens the opportunity of breaking their record of dominance in Ligue 1.

We all have to accept that any team that wants to break this dominance will have to be more consistent than ever, if not it will be almost impossible to break.

Lens took full advantage of the opportunity and secured a huge 5-0 win in the match. With 3 points in this match, lens is now at the top of the table. If Lens can continue this winning streak then PSG will not be able to occupy the top spot in the table.
I guess the top spot in the table will be occupied by lens till April 12th. Lens will host PSG on April 12. If Lens is able to win in this match, then there is a big possibility that they will win Ligue 1 this time. The lens is in very good shape. They have all the qualifications to be champions. In 22 matches they scored 42 goals and conceded only 17 goals.

An end of an era for Marseille with De Zerbi... It lasted less than 2 years actually. After Marseille didn't manage to be competitive enough this season I guess the board just wanted to look for new adventures.

De Zerbi is normally not a bad manager in my opinion. He finished last season at the 2nd position. I think it is a little bit harsh to sack him because of dropping down to the 4th position.

Lorient to win at home against Angers. They are still leading 2-0 after 80 minutes . It is very unlikely that Angers will score two goals in the last 10 minutes.

The match was quite  enjoyable. Both teams had some strong attacks. But lorient succeeded. They were able  to find the weakness in angers defense. They had two on target shots and  both were scored. Lens did it yesterday, proving to us to be capable. The margin was much, imagine 5-0. I never expect such a huge win from Lens. Now they are sitting on the top. No one expected that, but what happened to PSG at Rennes really surprised many, as they lost 3-1 to the home team. Meanwhile, Lens has started winning away games convincingly by much larger margins, and now they're back at the top of the table, although the goal difference remains. And now the competition in Ligue 1 is starting to get fierce again for the remainder of the season, as PSG will continue to do their best to return to the top, even though the conditions are not easy.

I mean even a good team ends up losing with unlucky game sometimes, but this wasn't even that, this was straight up being worse than your opponent and that is what nobody expected. Rennes got a comfortable 3-1 victory over PSG and they looked like the better team all game long.

PSG thought that if they kept the possession then they could be better, but Rennes just had super fast counter attacking and won the game with ease. There is something wrong with PSG, at least in this game there was.

This is a bad year for PSG. Lens, on the other hand, continues to fight with their never-ending spirit. Hopefully, this won't be a bad year for PSG, especially if they don't win any championship this year after winning the Champions League last year. I didn't expect Lens' 5-goal victory, but they proved us all wrong, showing they got there by chance. I would love to see Lens win the championship at the end of the season. France has needed some excitement for a long time.

In another game, Marseille split points with Strasbourg as they drew 2-2. They were close to winning, but Strasbourg equalised with a stoppage-time penalty.

Paris FC having "moments" as they had more possession? That's the exact trap that everyone falls into with these stats. They passed it around their backline for 58% of the match and created basically nothing dangerous. Lens sat back, let them have the ball, and then just destroyed them on the break. Six actual big chances vs one.

The 5-0 actually undersells it too. they hit the post two times, had two goals ruled out for offside. Could've been eight or nine to tell the truth.

Night before at Rennes. PSG lose to a side with NO manager, then Dembele goes on TV calling out players for playing like individuals. And Enrique fires back calling his comments "absolutely worthless". Said it three times! To the bestest player in the world! I can't think of a manager who burns his star like that after a loss in public. The dressing room has a crack in it. They've got Monaco in Champions League Tuesday and they're supposed to be defending that trophy.

You are right, Lens took advantage of the same opportunity as PSG, which resulted in them once again overtaking PSG and regaining the top spot in the table. However, yesterday Lens achieved the feat of going top by incredibly beating Paris FC 5-0 and we noticed that they were a much more dominant team in that game, and there was a hunger for victory within this Lens team. From what I saw, the visiting Lens team started to show an offensive tendency from the 24th minute of the match, and they took complete control of the match against Paris FC and earned three points. It is also true that at this moment it's very possible that PSG will face more defeats as the season becomes more intense with the UCL match but we don't think Paris Saint-Germain will give Monaco a chance to win the first leg of the upcoming UCL play-offs  game.
