Lyon were like they exploded yesterday after two bad weeks. They completely erased St. Etienne 5-0. Obviously, they don't want to get away from PSG and Lille on the road going to the championship. They continue following them from 2 points behind.

Marseille are going to play a home game against Rennes this weekend. Marseille are the 6th with 32 points and Rennes are the 5th with 36 points. Rennes got their first loss after 7 weeks. Marseille's bad form still continues (1D 3L). In the last 5 head-to-head games, Rennes and Marseille won once and the rest of the games ended in a draw. I believe Marseille will break their bad luck this time and get a win.

Ligue 1 is becoming very competitive. PSG, Lill,e and Lyon 3 teams are playing great. PSG and Lille have scored equal points in equal matches. Lyon is just 2 points behind. Although Lyon is just 2 points behind, they have lost the fewest matches this season. All three teams have an equal chance of winning the title.

Bordeaux have had a quite good form lately (3W 1D). We could see a tough game but I think Lyon will beat them. I also expect both teams to score.

Lyon got a huge 5-0 win. And the victory was very necessary for them. They lost to Mets in their previous match and shared points with Rennes. If they did not win against ST-Etienne, they would have fallen off the road to the title fight. I am very happy to be able to enjoy the match .

Losing to a team like Metz was really surprising for Lyon. But it seems like they were aware of it and they wanted to make up for it by defeating St. Etienne here. They didn't just won the game, they wiped St. Etienne out. This win will help them continue to play a quality football and I believe they will win their next game against Bordeaux too.

Lille lost only once (4W 1L) and Dijon won only once (1W 3D 1L) in the last 5 games in the league. In the last 5 head-to-head games, Lille won 4 times and Dijon won once. I think Lille will beat them without difficulty.

Monaco didn't get any loss (4W 1D) and Nantes didn't get any win (3D 2L) in the last 5 games in the league. In the last 5 head-to-head games, Monaco won all of them. I think this is an easy game for Monaco and they won't have any problem on beating Nantes.

Monaco closed the point difference at a high rate with the teams at the top places. They've had a very good period for some time. They have a 4-win streak now. Nantes are not a team that can stand in front of Monaco now. So I agree with you on Monaco win.

PSG got 4 wins (4W 1D) and Lorient won only once (1W 1D 3L) in the last 5 games in the league. In the last 5 head-to-head games, PSG won all of them. I think it will be an easy win for PSG here.

It doesn't look like Lyon will be able to come back to win this game against Bordeaux tonight. If they were serious about winning, they should have increase their lead or restrict Bordeaux from scoring. They didn't do both. 87th minute and it looks priced in already. I'm no longer sure if this lyon team is capable of winning the french league.

Montpellier are going to play a home game against Lens today. Montpellier are the 11th with 28 points and Lens are the 9th with 31 points. At Lens, Jonathan Gradit (suspended) and Ignatius Ganago (injured - 5 goals) will not play. I think Montpellier will win this and end their bad streak.

It didn't go the way you predicted and Montpellier lost 1-2. But they played better than Lens in the first and second half both. It was just unlucky for them. There is an interesting thing that Lens got 2 shots on goal and both of them were concluded with a goal.

I think PSG will take over the top of the classmen when comes to Lorient home. PSG also had a good stat in the last 5 games versus Lorient, always the winner and Lorient never get winners since 10 years ago. Icardi and Neymar still on fire. my prediction score is 0-2

Lyon are the new leader now but they have played one extra game than PSG. I think PSG will have a very comfortable win against their weak competitor Lorient and take the lead again from Lyon.

I agree with you. The Montpellier team played better than the Lens. But the Lens team is very experienced. They didn't want to take any more risks after scoring two goals. They played very defensively after scoring the second goal. And by the end they were able to win the match 2-1. The match between Lyon and Bordeaux was also very exciting. Both teams played well enough.

The beauty of football has happened again as PSG lose away at Lorient.
Lorient 3 - 2 Paris Saint-Germain The loss has opened wide the title race with Lyon now back in the first position having one point ahead of PSG and Lille  (who have a game in hand).
