What is certain is Mbappe will definitely leave and I think, the club that has a better chance of getting Mbappe is Real Madrid. Although indeed, of course there are other teams that will try to bring in Mbappe too . But, because Mbappe main goal for leaving is to get lots of titles and also the appropriate payment, then it seems like Real Madrid is his goal. But indeed, it seems certain that Mbappe will not play at PSG next season. Because yes, it is very possible that Mbappe will leave in the January transfer window this season, or maybe in the transfer window for the new season later.

Seeing what's happening in the current standings reminds me of the 2016/17 Ligue 1 season, when AS Monaco emerged as Ligue 1 champions (Mbappe was also still there at that time).

Not exactly the same number of goals scored by Monaco compared to PSG but I get your point. They have both scored many goals so far. Monaco have even conceded more than PSG but they are still ahead of them. Monaco have just used these statistics a little more positive than PSG in their league games so far.

Especially that loss against Nice in Parc des Princes was really unexpected to me which made the difference between Monaco and PSG now. In the season you mentioned Mbappe was playing for Monaco indeed. They won the title with him and now who knows maybe they would win the title against him.

Marseille has not shown consistent performance so far. And I think people will agree with me that Gattuso has brought similar type of results before as well. Les Parisiens sacked most of the valuable coaches they had and filled the team with big names that are proudly reluctant in games. It is difficult for PSG to win the title in the Champions League because the competition in the Champions League is more difficult than in the domestic league that PSG usually faces.
But PSG still has enough time to qualify for the next round of the Champions League so Luis Enrique has to try hard for this.

Al Hilal was offering Mbappe £605m (€700m) salary and on top of that they were ready to pay PSG 300 million euros as a transfer fee. However, I don't really understand whether the sheikhs who own PSG have an interest to compete with the Saudi sheikhs who are trying to improve their domestic league. I think it must be crazy to be a great footballer these days. When you think back about the top players at the early 2000s or even in the 90s, they probably must be crying if they see the sums that are paid these days. For just one year, holy this is crazy. And it can't be sustainable I thin because other players will adjust their requirements as well if they see these kind of deals.

That transfer did not happen in the summer because of many reasons that I believe did not only come from Mbappe.
