PSG has everything except for a sufficiently competitive league. When we have a look at Champions League winners from the past and what their competitive environment was throughout the year, I think the chances for PSG to win it is the lowest as they are amassing superstars which then have only a few games in which they are maximally challenged. This season I think the Champions League dream is almost over after the devastating loss against Newcastle. They are still in the game of course due to their win against Borussia Dortmund, but the team didn't look strong enough such that I would think they could also beat the best teams in the competition.

The weakness of teams like Psg-Monaco-Marseille in general is that they are in a league like Ligue 1 where there is a rigid defense. In a league like the Premier League, where the game is constantly flowing, the team in form is challenging every team and the quality of the league is very important. This is why the French have not been successful in Europe. Their league is very static and even the bottom teams in the premier league are very strong. The Spanish solve it with technique. Italians solve it with rationality and defense from time to time. But in France there is no clear football culture. It's always been like this. Both when Lyon embargoed the league and when PSG embargoed it. Monaco should be congratulated, they were successful in their time.

You understand the issue at hand here. The change from Ligue 1 to Champions League for PSG is more significant than for other teams to switch from their league games to the Champions League. PSG's crushing defeat against Newcastle, a newcomer to the UCL, certainly hit PSG hard. Indeed, this is the worst result in UCL this season, defeated seriously in the group phase. Ligue 1 is not a big obstacle for PSG because they can slowly restore their best form in Ligue 1 until the end of the competition they are champions. But in the Champions League, PSG is not a consistent team because every season they always fail to win the UCL trophy. Even a major overhaul by buying many star players and changing coaches has not succeeded in bringing them to win the UCL trophy.
In the match against Newcastle United where PSG had to endure their embarrassment because they were beaten by a big score. Certainly the mentality of players like Mbappe will definitely be disturbed by this result because they are a team filled with quality players but in fact they are not strong enough to provide resistance to Newcastle United. Even Luis Enrique couldn't do much because he played the perfect player in that match but still they weren't the strongest when facing an EPL team.

Tomorrow Metz vs Nice in French Soccer League will start in two team match. I am waiting to enjoy this match. I still don't understand which team is better to bet in support of two teams. But I thought I will bet in support of Nice team. Nice team.  Now in the 4th position in the points table. On the other hand, Metz is in the 14th position. Hopefully we can enjoy a lot of nice matches between the two teams. And if the players of both teams perform equally, the match can be a draw.

As of now Nice is having very good performance as they are undefeated in this season after seven rounds and in last three games they beat Monaco and PSG on road which is impressive Metz is currently at the bottom with three defeats their defence is also worst which is not helping them in any case with this all most chances Nice will keep their momentum and win this match for having pressure on top teams.

Even I am also in favor of the Nice Ml which is currently at the @1.75 but with their recent matches and performance we can go for the under 2.5 as well because they are having tight defence which is also on decent odds @1.95 Nice having four clean sheets in their last five games and this can go for another match as well.

Metz newly promoted are not doing well so far this season, so this game looks like a sure one for Nice to extend the unbeaten record to another game.
Occupying the top is not easy achieve able, but far from that observing the table you will notice they have moved a point just above PSG and that is a great job from Nice.

Since that have a good defense, then they will score more and defend more. There should not be a game with more that three goals.
Under 2.5 makes perfect sense.

This season Nice has been change became an strong team because at least until week 7 Nice has been showing very impressive performance by beating some of big teams PSG and Monaco and according to the head to head statistics i can see both teams can beat each other and they were looks equal but if we see the recent performance from them obviously Nice much better than Metz

Nice squad this season was filled by young players but they can able to managed their consistency for each matches and Nice also has strong defense because from 7 matches Nice only conceded 4 goals and for forward lines they will still rely on Terem Moffi and today i feel like Nice will be able to overcomes Metz considering the condition for Metz is not so good and in the last 2 matches Metz was lose and they even failed to scores from those matches and my prediction is Nice will be the winner of this match and the bookmakers provide good odds for Nice @1.71

The last game of this week is going to be Rennes - PSG. Of course PSG are favoured by bookmakers clearly. However there is an interesting head-to-head game history between these teams. I mean the games in Rennes' home.    Rennes haven't lost to them home since 2018 and won a few games as well.

While PSG are this much in trouble they don't convince me at all about winning this game either. Rennes have similar statistics with PSG in the league so far. I think they will motivate themselves very much to get some points. I would rather bet on Rennes' double chance here.

PSG is a club with abundant financial resources. I see them being wasteful when spending on players, they spend a lot of money, but the quality of the team needs to be commensurate with the value. This season, they lost to weak teams. Their management team seems to care about something other than team performance. They are indirectly pushing PSG to the edge of the abyss. What do you think if PSG loses the Ligue 1 crown this season? The management must do something immediately to save the team.

Nantes managed to win in the away match with a narrow score against Strasbourg. Marcus Coco scored his first goal for Nantes in the 50th minute and Samuel Moutossammy followed in the 58th minutes a distance that was as close as a Nantes player could create. Well you're right, what they're going through normally occurs when a club is undergoing a rebuilding, and i think their fans needs to be calm and trust the process, they've got a good coach and a team filled with experienced players therefore if the players work hard on the training ground and put heads together with the coach to work on a better strategy, i believe they'll do better, Even Eddie Howe at some point this season slacked and were performing poorly in the EPL but they didn't give up, but rather worked harder to produce good results currently.

 Therefore i believe that if PSG work hard enough as and maybe figure out a better tactics maybe they'll begin to do better and start winning games as expected, well they need to be very focused against Rennes and play with a good team spirit else they may end up getting another lose.

There are two matches in the French League today. Metz will play Nice and Reims will play Monaco. I am focused on the match between Metz and Nice.

Metz actually started the league well, but they had bad results in the last games. They haven't scored a goal in the last two weeks. Their Colombian striker Oscar Estupinan is a good striker. He played for Hull City before. And I know he's a good striker and I'm sure he will catch everyone's attention after he finishes his adaptation to the French league. I don't see any reasonableness achieved by Paris Saint Germain, because they feel this kind of result not only this time, but some time back also displays something similar. I would say it's natural when they overhaul the whole squad they have. But the fact is that currently they still have good players, even they have a star labeled player in Mbappe. If you say what they are experiencing is normal, then where were they some time ago when they performed more or less the same performance? maybe now they are declining from some time ago. And it shouldn't happen to them and it's not right to say it's normal.

An overhaul that comes with the consequences of a temporary loss in quality is different from what PSG has done. That overhaul includes many young talents that still need to be developed and are still prone to making mistakes. PSG dumped another money bomb to buy Dembele and Kolo Muani. These are players that don't need much time until they are able to play at full capacity. Imagine a team was to buy Mbappe, Haaland, Alvarez and Vinicius Junior and they lose the first 5 games. Would you say that it is normal because this team made an overhaul and first needs time to sort out all issues? Of course not, because that is the reason you buy a player for 100 million instead of 10 million. PSG has to deliver instantly. That's the point of making these investments and by the way that is also the reason why there are no excuses for Chelsea either.
