It was beyond expectations that Nantes managed to silence Lorient with a score of 5-3 and we can see how many goals were scored. Previously I had predicted that Nantes would win this match but I felt the result would end with a score of 1-0 or 2-1. For next match today between Lens vs Toulouse and both teams had similar conditions because from the last 5 matches these teams still unable to gets the winning results but if we see from head to head statistics Lens had good records from Toulouse even Lens status as the favourite today with the odds @1.58 and indeed if Lens can able to playing just like they did last season beating Toulouse is not hard for them but with the current conditions of Lens which is very weak i was highly doubt they can collect 3 points from this match so that's why i didn't dare to pick Lens win and for safe bet perhaps both teams to scores might be good

The way the League 1 table is moving this season is very interesting because teams like PSG, Monaco, and Marseille are not the only ones leading the table; other teams are now improving their performance and bringing more competition to the league, which is very good. I am sure if these young teams continue with this performance, League 1 will also be more competitive and will be of a similar standard as other leagues like the EPL, Seria A, Bundesliga, and La Liga.

Monaco - Nice was a really interesting game. Balogun was a huge disappointment in this one because he missed two penalties. After missing the second one he was subbed off in a short time of course. He had a really bad day I'm afraid which cost Monaco 3 points at the same time. I don't want to put all the blame on him but he had a significant role.

By the way Brest are doing really incredible these days. They added another win to their collection by beating Lyon home by 1-0. They totally deserved this win as well because their performance was just mesmerizing. Lyon couldn't do much against them.

I was surprised by Lyon's condition this season. Is it true that they are now in 17th place in the Ligue 1 standings? That's what came to my mind when I opened the ligue1 website. They have never tasted even a win in 6 matches this season.
Even though the squad they have is not that bad because a number of famous names are written on their squad list.
Yesterday they also suffered a defeat against Brest with a narrow score of 1-0.
It's a very different situation.

Looking at some of the criticism that happened after the match I wouldn't criticize him too much because it would only add to the burden for a player who will definitely be affected in terms of mentality when he misses 2 penalties and the club he defends must lose with a painful score because of his goal in extra time.

This season is one of the worst for Lyon from a long time at a point their supporters were very angry and unsatisfied with their team performance. They are in the relegation zone, they didn't won any game this season, they lost 4 and got a draw in two other matches, they just scored 3 goals and received 11. These stats are for a random team not a team with the weight and history of Lyon!
Same goes for Lens, Lorient and Montpellier, they could do way better than this. Actually if we take a look on the table right now, it is quite random. Brest is in the first place

The fact that Paris Saint Germaine played a French Ligue 1 game against Nice at the Parc des Princes last weekend and lost the game many believed they were gonna win comfortably is a big reason to doubt if they'll win their match today against Marseille.
Marseille is currently ahead of PSG in the French Ligue 1 table and wouldn't sit and watch PSG best them because they're the reigning champions of France or because they defeated Borussia Dortmund during their UEFA Champions League game that was played in midweek. If we were to go with "anything could happen" then we wouldn't be able to bet on the favorites at any given time. I feel like it would not make sense to bet against PSG every game they play, just because anything could happen in world of football. I wager on them to win for every single game every year, and usually it breaks even, depending on the season of course, had good years too.

I think they are going to do fine this game as well, sure Marseille is not a terrible team and I am not saying that at all, but I feel like PSG is still by far better and it's smart to bet on them.
