I read the news in the local media that PSG were given a punishment by Ligue 1. This is because some of those players sing Antigay songs. According to the news there are 4 players who were punished. They are Dembele, Hakimi, Randal Kolo Muani, and Layvin Kurzawa. Of course it's a loss for PSG, they don't have many of the best players. They have also not consistently started the league this season. Mbappe did not appear wholehearted.

What's wrong with Lyon?

Lyon is willing to visit Ligue 2 and won something after they failed to do it in Ligue 1. I don't have any other explanation about their catastrophic form. Not a single victory after 8 rounds? They received 16 goals! 2 goals in every match approximately? That's incredible!

They lost players like Messi and Neymar in this season while each one of these players could perform well and help the team, we can't expect to see the same performance from PSG after losing many players in this season because they also got a new coach and this team also needs some time to get in the good form.

PSG's attack is weak, and the attack performance is completely dependent on Mbappe. We have to accept this. And PSG's overall performance has been poor due to their reliance on just one player. PSG have talented players like Ramos and Asensio in attack. But they are not as experienced as Messi and Neymar. So the void of Messi and Neymar in the squad is still not filled. How possibilities with Lyon get relegation in this season although still have many matches left in Ligue 1 but inconsistency performance as main problem for Lyon.

A lot of things are wrong with Lyon this season. Laurent Blanc's time has run out and Fabio Grosso has been brought in his place. However there is no improvement at all after 3 games being left behind. They got 2 losses and a draw in these games. If they can't get themselves out of the relegation area and get away from it for a long time then Grosso's time might not be long either.

This game against Lorient was like the one in which they were the most productive in terms of goals. However they couldn't maintain a 3-1 lead and got a 3-3 draw at the end. The defense is still in horrible shape. They need to figure a way out for that area on one hand.

We can't expect to see good performance in Lyon when they have an unstable situation and they don't have a good financial situation to buy the players they want, in fact when you don't have enough money you can't buy the players you need, or the coach who can help you get good results. However, Lyon is a team that usually had the hope of racing at the top of the table and even won the French League before but currently, this team is not in the good form.

It's a shame that Lens failed to win at home in the match against Lille last night and made them only draw 1-1. But we all know that PSG Fans wanted more after they were humiliated by the English team. Enrique now needs to find several players to cover the drums and defenders who are very vulnerable. Luis Enrique is an experienced manager with nothing to prove.  He has been in charge of Barcelona for a long time as well as being the manager of the Spain football team and has proved his worth there. Taking charge of PSG is difficult to achieve success with the current team. With all the players that PSG has, it will be very difficult for Luis Enrique to win the Ligue 1 title, the Champions League is a long way off. Luis Enrique will certainly do well if he is allowed to buy players at will. If there is financial freedom, this manager will definitely try to get good players from Europe to the club and when he builds a team with good players, that team is more likely to achieve success. This season is going to be a bad season for PSG.

PSG's performances are best in Ligue 1, but they always disappoint in the Champions League, where they have little control. The fact that Newcastle scored goals against PSG did not surprise me in the most; they could actually have performed worse. When it comes to Ligue 1, though, that is when you will see them score a lot of goals and been claimed champions.

You remember 2022 PSG's 1:0 won against Real Madrid in the first leg of the Champions League. So the match vs Newcastle, it feels like nothing to me. Karim Benzema scored three goals in their second leg match. Hat-trick for the group PSG has a streak where they are unable to defeat Real Madrid. The club was still has Neymar and Messi, and it was still difficult for them to reach the champions league final. As a result, I find it difficult to be surprised by the club's current performance. I agree, the fact that they are only 2 points behind the leader, it shows that their "not doing so well" is still better than almost everyone, one more win and they are at the top and that should show you how good they are. I do not think that they are going to end up losing the league like many are claiming, I think they are going to do fine and we are not going to end up with anything crazy like that.

I know that it's going to be tough deal without a doubt, I do not think that they are going to win the title by like 20 points or something, but they are still by far the best team and even with all the things that has been going on with them, they still managed to keep it close so far and I bet they will take the lead soon.

PSG might be using the wrong strategy. PSG puts mbappe to play behind the striker which not become his favorit position. Enrique was adding ramos to play upfront against newcastle. The different strategy used by PSG once the club was facing rennes in the league 1. Rennes can do nothing in this match even though PSG had really bad record against rennes away. PSG was putting mbappe to play as left winger against rennes which was impressing anyone.

Enrique needs to understand never try to put the player out from his actual position or it will be only giving negative impact for the club. I think that enrique shall try to stop to do more experiments with his club.
Mbappe needs to play as a winger to ensure his effectivity against its opponent. Mbappe can move freely once he will able to stay at the left winger position.
Enrique needs to understand him even deeper. Mbappe is very good as a winger instead of attacking midfielder or striker.
