In french soccer league, Clermont Foot vs PSG team is now on the field to play. It is almost half time of the game of both teams, but the players of both teams have not scored any goals yet. PSG happens to be the favourite of this match which means it's expected of them to win as they have higher chances, going by the records they have better performance as compared to Clermont, PSG has lost on one match so far since the beginning of the league but sadly Clermont has lost all four games and had. Just one draw so they definitely shouldn't stand a chance with PSG in this game.

It's not really encouraging that PSG who has been Seen to be the better side is finding it difficult to gat a goal from this Clermont who we consider too weak a team, the first half of the game ended goalless and PSG was dominating, they did possessed the ball very well but it seems Clermont have a better defense to resist the attempts made by PSG.

The second half of the game is almost coming to an end as they are in the 90+ minutes of the game and both teams are yet to get a goal, one will wonder why would PSG find it do difficult to get a goal from a weak team as Clermont, if they had a goal to a draw it may make more sense than a goalless draw which is what is most likely to happen by the end of the second half. Clermont will be happier as they will be able to secure another one point even if it may not save them from been relegated this season.

The option to extend the contract for a year depends on Mbappe and he has not activated it. PSG can literally do nothing in this situation. Mbappe will leave for free in the summer and I don’t see what can be discussed here. Taking into account the fact that he returned the loyalty bonus to PSG (a gesture of goodwill), it can be assumed that the parties reached a peace agreement and Mbappe will simply finish this season and leave.

In my opinion I think for Mbappé to remain at PSG next summer depends on their performance in the Champions League and even if they win the league trophy it won't be enough to keep him in the team, lets not be quick to forget that he almost forced himself out of the his current team, and even had a secret contract negotiation with Realmadrid, which made PSG to increase his release clause and I was surprised to see him sign another 1 year contract with them.

But in the new contract he signed, Mbappé is free to  negotiate with any team of his choice after this season but PSG would sell him for the right price though they would still try as much as possible to keep him but like I said earlier, their performance in the Champions League determines whether Mbappé would remain in the team or not, else I think he could move to Realmadrid by summer.

Clermont succeeded in adding just one point on the table, clinching them to be ranked 17th on the table, they're not safe because the team is still in the relegation zone, absolutely nothing they would do against the Parisians other than fought for shared points. It was totally dissapointing results from the elite club, Luis Enrique will make amends for the clueless draw against Clermont. Perhaps Clermont boss, Pascal Gastien was a little bit satisfied with his team, the goal keeper, Mory Diaw made clear 10 saves against Paris Saint-Germain which was unbelievable, he's MOTM for this brilliant saves.

For Clermont holding PSG to a draw was a success, for PSG I think they wasted a very good opportunity. Failure to get full points hampered their progress towards taking top position in the standings, PSG only weakness in the match was finishing on all opportunities, and it's true that Clermont defense is quite good to withstand PSG attacks. Dembele has not been able to score for PSG during his move from Barcelona, despite having played in seven games.

That was a horrible start for PSG. Only 3 wins after 7 rounds, 3 draws and a loss. They missed 2 points today vs Clermont Foot and weren't able to score a goal. A team that spend a lot of money for its players and bring known coach to see its results like that should think twice about what's going on and try to fix that. Staying second in Ligue 1 for the moment was related to the mistakes done by its direct rivals like Marseille and Monaco. Brest could take a good lead if the score remain 2 - 2 between these two teams.

damn! happened again and this time PSG destroyed my multi bet even though I was a little disappointed with this defeat but I felt there was something unfair when PSG visited Clermont at home several times the Clermont defense line players committed violations in the penalty box and it should have been a violation and PSG had the opportunity to penalty but the referee refused and it happened twice when I watched the match and I had bad thoughts about the referee like it was very unfair.

and what really disappointed me here was that when Gancalo Ramos got a chance in front of goal to score, his shot was off target and failed to score. PSG performance made me a little disappointed because they destroyed my odds @11 but I can understand because I still think the referee was unfair.

Fans would be very disappointed at their performance today, securing a point against Clermont foot that's got bad record in the Ligue one so  far and are even in the relegation zone, what suprised me is that after beating Marseille 4-0 last week PSG are struggling to get 3 points against Clermont foot who are a very weaker side, I expected them to be leading with 2 goals in the 1st half and even if Clermont foot were at home it shouldn't be a very difficult task to beat them.
 
 If PSG had won the game,they would had got a chance to top the league but they're currently 3rd position under Brest due to the unexpected draw even with the fact that they didn't rest any of their star player,I just hope they do better against Newcastle in the UCL.
