The reality is that PSG is so good that most of their bench players are still better than many of their opponents, which is why it is not really that complicated to keep this going, we should think about getting better results in most cases and betting on them is easy but usually wasteful since odds are not that great. I would say betting on Marseille or Monaco is a lot better because they do win quite often and they do have better odds that profit better too.

For the past two seasons now that PSG started misbehaving, I have stop giving them a direct winning in my ticket unless they are playing against a very weak team. The bookmakers mostly manipulate the odds just to lure people but end up losing their bet. Personally, I do prefer risking my money on high odds than small odds that may like spoil tickets for me.

But PSG can not be underestimated in their domestic league, at least they are always the league leaders, I really regret that at some time PSG experienced a setback in the past but I think they are currently very capable of getting consistency, you might be brave enough to penetrate the sun with a big chance when facing PSG, I think it's better like what tygeade said, Monaco and Marseille are much better places to bet if you are looking for profit there.

Marseille will beat PSG, Greenwood is really like a beast when he play for Marseille, Manchester United will regret for release him. The most interesting is, Marseille is full of new players that signed in 2023 and 2024, but they can perform like a team that already have 4-5 years chemistry.

I really doubt Monaco will beat PSG, they're not make many change in their squad.

Manchester united will regret releasing Greenwood? I doubt that. Is there any impact he added to Manchester squad before the saga? There's no player greater than the team and Manchester united have long forgotten him since he's been replaced. Mind you, performance is not being measured by the changes that occur in a team. Take a look at Liverpool in Premier league, they did not make much change in their squad but they're having a good start already with a new couch.

Greenwood shows his potential in a decent place and I think if Greenwood becomes the best player in the French league 1 there must be some regret at Man United, and you need to see the state of Manchester United which is in an unstable state even losing twice for the 3 matches that have been passed, that is a bad result at the start of the season, they can't get what is considered good as a team, they become very weak.

Talking about clubs that always dominate League 1, Monaco is actually not a club that is included in the dominance of League 1, maybe in the last few seasons Monaco can be said to be a competitor of PSG in League 1 because they were able to finish in the top 5, but if we look further, there is actually a club that is quite a threat to PSG for this season, namely Marseille because in its history Marseille has dominated the title more than Monaco and this season Marseille seems to have made many changes and improvements for the better. I think League 1 clubs are only able to make it difficult for PSG to win the title if PSG's chances of winning the title are still quite large, they seem unwavering even though they have lost their goal-scoring machine.

Quite interesting to leave Palmer out of the conference league squad, I do get that they want to rest him, and they do have a huge squad as well so they do not really need to do anything crazy with their squad and overload them, they can relax the way they want. But at the same time, we are looking at Palmer who could be their very best player, couldn't they find someone else to rest and make him play there?

I think Conference league is important, and they will have a chance to put him back in after the group stages, but I would say making him play there, and resting him on FA cup games would make more sense. I don't think you're looking too deeply into this league, which seasons are you referring to? AS Monaco have had a good record over the past 4 seasons, they have only been out of the top 5 zone once, apart from that they have always been in the top 3 of the standings. You also said that AS Monaco are not in good condition, what are you basically saying, look at the standings, they're in fifth place with the same points as Marseille, Nantes and Lens. It's not good to draw conclusions too quickly, especially since the standings in this league still have a lot of dynamics going forward.

But in this thread, PSG's performance in UCL has nothing to do with their results in League One. They struggle in UCL, but completely overpower their competitors in League One.

I expect nothing from PSG in this competition. They will obviously win it easily. It's because they're the strongest team. However, some clubs can compete with them, like Marseille and Monaco. But believe me, it's simple to know if PSG will win the current season without put lots of effort.

Champions League has mostly been one big challenge for PSG over the years and the day they eventually win the champions league, I believe they will forever remember that season as it's been one of their biggest dreams and anticipated achievements of all times as their domestic league has never been of much challenge to them ever since they got winning and dominating their domestic league due to their level of sophistication which is second to non in the ligue 1. If they strive better, this season they may likely get a. Good chance at it but their finest will be opposing them from Madrid and that is obviously a huge threat that cannot be ignored as it's definitely going to sweep them off their feet if they eventually meet.

They are able to score at least even though they have defensive problems. But we don't see any good defensive or offensive performance from the other two. For now, they are the biggest candidates for relegation. 

In that case, I hope the last team to relegate wouldn't be Lyon. Because their game isn't convincing at all. I don't know how they managed to return to the point they started last season...

We agree with PSG's dominance in League 1, they are still a strong candidate for the champion this season even though some of their key players have left, but PSG's strength has not decreased so far, in fact I see PSG becoming more solid under Luis Enrique. Yes, we know that the achievement that has not been realized is winning the UCL title, but we must remember that this competition is different from League 1, the champion mentality is shown in this competition. Difficult to be in the main league if not financially supported to buy the players needed and most likely they will be re -degraded after the season ends. The two teams do not have a good depth of the squad and they are quite weak in terms of defense. When viewed from the second match I doubted they were able to stay in Ligue 1 because of the competition that was quite competitive and lost a lot of points would make it difficult for them to stay in the main league.

Lyon will improve slowly and I am quite optimistic that they will not be degraded because indeed statistically their abilities are above three teams that have just received promotional rations. Although their game is bad there is always an opportunity in the middle of the season where they will come out of various pressures to get points.

PSG always dominates Ligue 1, even without Mbappé. But Champions League has always existed onlu in their dream. They've choked year after year. All that money, all those stars, and they can't crack the code. Real Madrid, Bayern, the big boys from La Liga, the Premier League - PSG folds like a cheap suit against them.
