So if the players of PSG can continue this kind of performance then there is a possibility of this team performing well in the Champions League as well. Due to the good understanding between the players, the team played well in all three matches in Ligue 1 and managed to win each match by a big margin. PSG got an experienced coach like Luis Enrique. Luis Enrique is also an experienced coach for the Champions League platform. So I think PSG has a great chance to do well in Champions League matches this season.

Having big names isn't necessary all the time to get the team winning any game, because even with big name at some point, a team has lost still so it's mainly the tactical reference and strategy of a team that gets them to doing as better as they really can, only a few still make it really big with big names, some actually do fail and some times the big names in the team ends up not shining bright because of the environment typically but a better one for them helps them get the magic done for them.

PSG dominate Ligue 1 and are the biggest contenders for the title in their league every season. Mbappe's departure is not a problem for them. Because Luis Enrique didn't build his team on Mbappe and this allows them to play a stable game in the league. But I don't think PSG have enough squad to compete in the Champions League, you need big players and magicians and PSG lack the players who can save games. If you think of Real Madrid, Manchester City or even Barcelona, I would say that PSG will have a very difficult task in the Champions League with their current squad.

Obviously PSG happens to be a better opponent against Brest and it's almost natural they become the favourite as against brest, they have got a better squad, depth and even strength so much that they aren't equals even without mbappe who has been one back none of PSG all these years but then the challenge still remains that football isn't absolutely predictable especially with circumstances, by all standards, even in paper PSG rightly should win especially looking at the poor performance brest have had in the past few games they have  played this season. I don't really want to speculate too far, because we only have three matches that we have just watched. Although their performance is quite impressive, we don't know for sure their next performance. However, we agree that PSG is much more solid this season. The gameplay that Enrique implemented went very well.

Yes, I believe everyone agrees that Paris Saint Germaine is still playing like the best and strongest French club at the moment despite not having Kylian Mbappe in their ranks. Though it's too early to predict how the French Ligue 1 is going to play out but I think we can take a whole lot from what we've seen already. Paris Saint Germaine in my own opinion is going to successfully defend the league title but will face a strong contention from Olympic Marseille this season.
Marseille have been immense with their performances so far and their summer signing who happens to be Manchester United former player Mason Greenwood was very quick to pick up from where he left last season at Getafe where he played as a loan player and if he can continue with his current performance, stopping Marseille will be very difficult

Marseille will not always be able to rely only on its young players, what we mean is Greenwood. This player is good, he has proven it. However, if Greenwood is not in his form then De Zerbi knows very well that he needs a pure striker who can be relied on to score goals. As for PSG, as we have discussed in many previous threads. that they are still a strong team, even though their mega star players have left. especially under the direction of Luis Enrique, it seems that this Spanish coach is building Paris Saint-Germain with the system and style he wants. IMO, the change in PSG's game is quite obvious under Enrique's tutelage, their teamwork is increasingly prominent. it could be that Marseille will be an obstacle for PSG to retain the trophy, but we don't know for sure how De Zerbi's squad will perform in the following matches. for now, they are performing much better. in fact, I really hope Marseille can return to being a team in the top four in this competition until the end of the season. there is a slight difference of opinion from us, IMO, it is Marseille who will have a hard time stopping Paris Saint-Germain.

Last season was a glorious journey for the Brest, even since the beginning of the season they have been able to continue to stick tightly to PSG in the ligue 1 table although at the end of the season they started to experience inconsistency and must to end the season in the third positions, Brest have actually tried to improve the quality of their squad in the summer transfer market but so far we not seen any improvement in their squad, Although it is too early for us to judge them, but it seems that this season Brest will not be able to repeat all their achievements like last season, with a tight schedule and also a squad that can be said to be not too luxurious, of course it is difficult for them to compete, especially the Champions League, I think Brest will be one of the teams that will come out of the Champions League quickly and for this season most likely they will only be a team that is in the middle of Ligue 1, because  many other teams who has improved the quality of their squad better than Brest.

Agree with you, that's why fans shouldn't have high expectations of them this season, especially in the Champions League. Mid-table teams in any league will certainly not easily win Champions League matches, as a result they tend to fail in the early stages and not qualify for the round of 16. Brest was good last season in Ligue 1, as was Leverkusen who made a fantastic record in the Bundesliga. But if you look at their performance this season, everything is different.

I tend to be more optimistic about Monaco in the Champions League this season than Brest. Monaco has a good mentality as a competitor, but so far only PSG is really the favorite to qualify for the round of 16. Not only now the PSG be favorite to win Ligue 1 even before the league starts, they have become a strong candidate to become champions this season, so I think there is nothing surprising about their current statistics including consecutive wins at the start of the season, PSG has a squad that is very capable and they are still better than the current rival teams, the quality of the squad and also the financial differences have been a strength for PSG to be able  their to easily win Ligue 1, but unfortunately the greatness that PSG have in Ligue 1 is not comparable to their performance and mentality in the Champions League which very bad so far, to be honest if we talk about Ligue 1 of course we can't deny that they are the strongest candidate to be champhionsip, while other teams are currently only competing for a place in the UCL, but for this season Champions League, I personally don't expect much from PSG.

PSG are looking much stronger and ambitious this season, better than they were in the last campaign. I also have a strong feeling that they will emerge as Ligue 1 champions at the end of the season, that is if nothing goes wrong along the way.

PSG will play Marseille at the end of October, and until then they will try to be as close to PSG as possible. But despite a good game, they have already lost points in the match with Reims, so who knows what else can happen during this time. PSG team is best team for that match in my opinion. They did well in last matches and they are favorite for the next match because they are looking in good form and players are giving their all effort for the team and they won last matches on sided. There are very less chances for Brest football team to win next match. PSG is at the top position because they won all matches and they have 9 points and they have 11 GD . Parc des Princes stadium will be lucky for  PSG team because they are doing well for the next match and they are fully prepared and they prepared the plan and they have good mindset about next match. They are psychologically good players and they didn't underestimate any team and that is big cause of their win.

In my opinion, what is happening is the following: they had a good squad, it was not a squad made up of expensive players, but it was a squad made up of talented players, even if they were cheap, but these players left the team, I am talking about players like: Lilian Brassier, Martín Satriano, Jérémy Le Douaron. I did not see them play this season. So I assume they have already left the team. If I am wrong, correct me. As some have already said, they made some signings, but they are no longer the same team as last season. Now they have to deal with the problem in attack and defense. Last season they had games where they conceded a lot of goals, but they had a good attack that scored a lot of goals, it was worth it. Even with Mbappe's departure, the team did not fall, this was thanks to the coach who made good signings. Keeping him for many seasons is a good choice.

Marseille may have a very different performance in attack after having Greenwood but the defense is still the same as last season. Marseille could compete with PSG, but to get the league 1 title it seems very difficult. Whatever happens, PSG quality is much higher in terms of defense, it is very different and Marseille only has a perfect attack line. Unless the Marseille coach is able to provide a consistent strategy to continue to get points.
BTW, it seems that Greenwood will be a player who will continue to be discussed here if he has a good career and can score more. The former Man United player seems very comfortable playing with Marseille and does not need long to adapt.

I'm surprised they decided to give Brest this little percentage chance of wining when we all no that Brest was one of the best club on the last season league, however this is the kind of match most gambler normally risk there money on since they gave Brest this kind of odd, however I'm still trying to figure out how the match will results at the end because the both team is very good but I no that PSG has more performance but sometimes the we maybe thinking acertain club will win will but at it will not.

However one thing about Brest is that whenever they meet PSG they add up there performance the more, so actually in as much as they gave PSG a wining odd but I don't think I can bet a straight wining on them because unexpected can possibly happen on that match because Brest can hold them to a draw, however I would like to see your own view on that.

I mean it's football, weirder things happened, so of course they have a chance. Last year Bayern Munich, the team that won the league 10+ times in a row, ended up losing to some second or third division team in the cup for example, nobody would have given even 1% chance to that team, in fact a five goal win for Bayern was a bigger chance than other team winning, and yet it happened, in football shocking stuff happens sometimes.

Not only now the PSG be favorite to win Ligue 1 even before the league starts, they have become a strong candidate to become champions this season, so I think there is nothing surprising about their current statistics including consecutive wins at the start of the season, PSG has a squad that is very capable and they are still better than the current rival teams, the quality of the squad and also the financial differences have been a strength for PSG to be able  their to easily win Ligue 1, but unfortunately the greatness that PSG have in Ligue 1 is not comparable to their performance and mentality in the Champions League which very bad so far, to be honest if we talk about Ligue 1 of course we can't deny that they are the strongest candidate to be champhionsip, while other teams are currently only competing for a place in the UCL, but for this season Champions League, I personally don't expect much from PSG.

PSG do not inspire the same level of confidence in me as regards to their performance in the Champions league. They do not seem to do very when competing against the best teams from other top European leagues. Like you, I would not put my money on PSG in the UCL.

Going with the performance of PSG after few games they are looking stronger than last season and the level of goals they have scored already after 3 matches is enough to see them as a team that will continue their history as the dominance of the domestic league. The team has young players despite not having any notable star player right now but their performance has been brilliant so far as they are not looking like a team that wants to underperform in any match this season.

I also speculate that PSG will be champions again in Ligue 1 this season, because no team has the strength that comes close to them. Because financial factors make PSG look very dominant from other contestants, it does not mean that other teams do not have a chance to win the trophy, but their chances are very slim. This convenience is also a boomerang for PSG itself when participating in other competitions such as the Champions League, plus some favorite teams such as Real Madrid and Manchester City are still in their best form.

Investment in star players that has been done by PSG has not yielded results, their best achievement in the Champions League was becoming a finalist. However, Nasser Al-Khelaifi still indicated that he will continue to try to maintain PSG bargaining value in the Champions League, even though this season they have lost their best talent Mbappe. I don't see PSG failure to recruit Osimhen will stop them from building a more ambitious project in the future.
