PSG are one of the few big sides that are very favoured in this playoff stage unlike Real Madrid and Manchester city that were matched, PSG got lucky to be matched with a weak Breast a weak side for them. I am already seeing PSG in the R16 and so I expect that they will meet a strong side there when they get to that stage as the competition will be taking another dimension. So PSG should be well prepared because a lot fans like myself do want to see them win the UCL this season.

There were many PSG fans who had to bury their dreams in the knockout rounds because PSG did not manage to win the match as expected. PSG might be able to qualify easily for the round of 16, but tough opponents will be waiting for them there and they are also ready to fight for tickets to the next round.

If you are a PSG fan, then I am sure you are already aware that PSG does not have a high probability of qualifying for the final. PSG is not as good as the other favorite teams in the Champions League, so I don't think they will make it to the final this season.

The confidence level of PSG is now almost at the top specially after beating Manchester City things are completely under their control for having good end of their season, and now they are surely going to have good improvement into this Champions League where things were never been like this before.

Luis Enrique experience working and management is also happy which give him another extension which is good for all stakeholders in this season most chances they could be ended into top 8 or 4 which is also good for them because now their young players have good depth and their experience is also increasing. Making final of Champions League is surely no easy, but it's surely not easy to predict because from here now any team is going to be had good chance top 16 mean all cream of European soccer and any team can bring any result while all are balanced for staying in hunt of title.

They have done well in the Champions League with a decent team so it is natural for them to have extra confidence but the matches that await them ahead will not be easy for PSG. They have certainly performed well so far in the Champions League, but if they fail to perform better in the upcoming matches, they may lose and exit the tournament. If we consider the strength of other teams then other teams are far ahead of PSG. However, PSG will definitely want to compete hard on the field and try to play at their best. If they play at their best and lose, they may not have any regrets. 

After Luis Enrique took charge of PSG, I thought that maybe they would make big changes in the team with the Champions League in front, but they have not appointed any player to their club like that. Hope to see the appointment of several players in PSG next season.

This is not an impressive win but it's enough for PSG to win and maintain 10 point difference with Marseille. This win is another match to bring PSG nearer to a finish line in Ligue 1, and they will have better concentration for UEFA Champions League. With 10 points more than Marseille and 16 points more than Nice and Monaco at 3rd and 4th positions, no club in Ligue 1 can prevent PSG winning Ligue 1 this season.

Do they have active football academy? Well, even if they have, it is not every club that have a good way of managing the transition of players from the academy to the youth team and finally the main team. I know of Barcelona being one of the best club in using their product as we have many notable players that graduated from their academy and made name in the main team. Apart from Barcelona and possibly Arsenal, I have not heard much success stories in this regard. If PSG can start it, it could be the solution to their problem because it will give them the opportunity to build their own products and culture right from tender age.

Yes! From my research I found out that PSG have an active football academy that has been in existence and active since 2005 and have produced some good players like Guendozi, Timothy Weah, Rabiot, Christopher Nkunku, Nicolas Anelka, moussa Diaby and currently Ethan Mbappe and so many others so you can see that they have an active academy. Probably they sell their academy players more rather than inducting them into their senior team.

This is not an impressive win but it's enough for PSG to win and maintain 10 point difference with Marseille. This win is another match to bring PSG nearer to a finish line in Ligue 1, and they will have better concentration for UEFA Champions League. PSG dominance in the french Ligue 1 is not a Joke,they have quality players in the team that are doing well and their performance in the field is incredible,you need to see the confident of the players,high team spirit and professional display. Toulouse on the hand lacks confident ,they knew they don stand a chance against Mighty PSG although they played a tough game against PSG but PSG were able to dominate the Match and still come with a win.

PSG is still Stronger without M bappe or have you forgotten the scenario that played out in Real Madrid with Cristiano Ronaldo. I can still remember when Cristiano Ronaldo was about to leave Madrid,a lot of fans were worried that the absent of Ronaldo will stalled the performance of the team from winning the laliga and Champions league. Today Real Madrid is stronger and better without Ronaldo and have still won both the LaLiga and Champions League combined. The same can still happen with PSG,Mbappe might be  a quality and top rated player,but PSG can still dominate and secure  victory in the Champions league

The long dominance of PSG in the Ligue1 is making the league less interesting because they have been running the winning in the league very smoothly and their unbeaten run in the league is no longer hidden because this is something they are known for in the league because they have no other team to challenge or defeat them as they are the team with the highest quality players they are not to be compared with any other team because they remain the strongest and the best team in the league. Winning the champions League is their biggest dream and they have failed to do that in a long time they need to focus on the champions league competition more knowing that the Ligue1 is always their own to win every season.

At least I can say I enjoyed Marseille and Monaco's performances a lot! 5 goals from the former and 7 goals from the latter... It must be the most productive week of the season for both of them.

But Monaco don't own the 3rd position anymore. Nice are doing a nice work recently by getting in between those 2 teams.    Considering Nice and Monaco have similar statistics, it is quite hard to predict which will be the one earning a ticket for the Champions League league phase.

Although the season is still very long, it seems many agree that PSG are the strong favorites to win Ligue 1 this season. On the other hand, the competition for Champions League tickets is still difficult to predict. Several teams have equal opportunities, although Marseille seems to have a slight advantage over other teams currently in the European zone. In my opinion, the race for the other Champions League ticket will involve Nice, AS Monaco, Lille and Lyon, as the four clubs have a small point difference.
