Previously we all hoped that marseille and monaco this season could provide tight resistance to prevent PSG from be championship, especially at the beginning of the season they actually has showed consistency and also very impressive performance after doing extraordinary transfers in the summer transfer market, but indeed apart from PSG there seems to be no other team that has a good enough winning mentality in Ligue 1 although they have a very good quality squad and are on par with PSG, Marseille and Monaco are slowly starting to get out of the championship race after they lost a lot of points against teams that are weaker than them, I think, PSG has been very comfortable at the top of the table with 46 points and Marseille who are ranked second will most likely be very difficult to catch them after the draw.

Marseille are better than last season if you look at the chances of the rankings this season. Marseille's consistency has not been consistent in positioning themselves as a team that can be a serious competitor for PSG. It seems that position is with Monaco who are slightly better than Marseille because for several seasons Monaco have been the team that can make PSG compete even though in the end PSG are superior as the team that lifts the trophy.
This season Marseille has a big gap in points with PSG.

PSG was lucky to have that win yesterday against Lens, a 1-2 victory, still at the top with 10pt clear until Marseille play their game against Strasbourg which I think won't be an easy one for the second position team. Marseille need this game to reduce the point gap to 7pt at least for now till PSG meet any of the big teams even Marseille for the second leg, that would be another block buster and we know is not going to be easy too. I'd really like Marseille to not only win this game against Strasbourg but also the League title at least let PSG try again next season. All the ligue one games yesterday were literally draws except for the Angers who won against their opponents who played from away and had a red card, interestingly all the scores were 1-1 and Angers had 2-0. I was just wondering why exactly it happened that all the fixtures of yesterday went that way, I hope to see some other better results.

It could happen when Marseille consistently wins the rest of the season and on the other hand, PSG has bad luck in several matches which will make Marseille's chances bigger.

Ligue 1 is not competitive and that's why it hasn't attracted big investors to think of buying any of the clubs for them to pump funds into the club for transformation. Only PSG is rich and that gives them a upper hand to be the title winners every season. This is why PSG is finding it difficult to put the team standard to that of UCL, because they don't have competitors.

I watched the Paris Saint Germaine game at Lens yesterday and honestly speaking, I don't like the fact that the French league is so less competitive that even on their bad days, Paris Saint Germaine still manage to win games. There is a nuance to all of that. Sure the "competition" is all time low for Ligue 1, if we are considering that, then last season Al Hilal won without any competition at all, there was nobody around them, and looking at this season, we could say that there are two teams, Ittihad is right there.

However, if we are talking about quality? Ligue 1 is nowhere near the level of Saudi league, even 10th of this league could beat the winner of Saudi league by a big margin if they play. PSG management is ready to spend a lot of money for good results. A few years ago we saw that PSG spent a lot of money to win the Champions League title by adding three of the best strikers in the world like Messi, Neymar and Mbappe to the squad. But even then, PSG could not succeed in the end.

However, Ligue 1 teams are not very rich. At the same time, they have no interest in spending a lot of money to build a squad. So no team is able to compete with PSG for the title. Why should you be surprised by yesterday's draw when there were only 4 matches that resulted in a draw, the rest were the results of wins and losses of several clubs, but from several draws, the most regrettable was the result of Marseille's match where they could not beat Strasbourg at home even though I hope Marseille can get 3 points to continue chasing PSG if Marseille continues to lose points, they have no hope of putting pressure on PSG.

Agree that what must develop are teams that want trophies and have good goals or visions and missions to be able to compete with PSG, and in my opinion PSG is currently not that good in terms of performance and is also not bad but the teams in the French League 1 seem quite weak both Monaco and Marseille, even though if we see PSG playing with other teams like in the Champions League they are indeed too bad at the moment but the fact is that the teams in this league do not have more motivation than just being under PSG, currently PSG is in a safe position in the standings and in my opinion this league seems to be over and I also hoped at the beginning of the season that Marseille could compete for the league trophy but it turns out they are not as I imagined, this league is too dead if there are no other rich people who want to invest in French clubs.

Isn't it happening since some time ago, Marseille has been considered as team that shows improvement in playing quality after making various successful player transfers but they are still considered unstable, real fact that has been recognized by everyone that it is difficult to stop PSG dominance here.
Difference between PSG and Marseille is 9 points which means Marseille must wait for PSG to experience 3 defeats and Marseille on the other side must also get more win so that they can be equal, there seems to be chance for Marseille but they are really unpredictable because this is not the first time Marseille has lost the opportunity to get an additional 3 full points.
