It's too early to comment on this match. It's very difficult to predict how it will go. We know that both Bayern Munich and Paris Saint-Germain are very good teams. We also saw how difficult Bayern Munich was in the Real Madrid match. The Paris Saint-Germain match will definitely be more difficult, and a semi-final awaits them. It should be a match where both teams play better than ever. I think both teams have a chance to win.

If their federation does that, it's because it's beneficial for their league. If Paris Saint-Germain can win the UCL, the Ligue 1 coefficient will improve, affecting the European competition slots. Don't you see that La Liga has 4 UCL slots while Ligue 1 only has 3?

Whatever the decision, the FFF must have thought of what's best for everyone, after all, with the current standings, is there a team that can displace Paris Saint-Germain from the top spot?

The impudent PSG has already tightened their schedule with their game postponements so much that now they themselves will suffer. Look at when their games are: on the 19th, 22nd, 25th, then on the 28th with Bayern, then on the 2nd, and then on the 6th with Bayern again. I would call this schedule intense! It's a shame Lens couldn't give them a more competitive fight for the title, PSG could have collapsed under the strain on two fronts.

Lyon doesn't have the quality it takes to defeat PSG in this match because PSG is currently in a good form, you can see that from their performance in the Champions League. Lyon will try all their best but victory will be impossible because PSG needs the points to enable them have full confidence on winning the title and they gat the quality.

It seems there will be no more delays because the match schedule has been arranged in such a way and Bayern Munich certainly does not want their schedule to be messed up because they still have matches in the domestic league, PSG may have a little difficulty because they have a very busy schedule in the next few matches I am not sure PSG can handle every match well and may have problems in one of them I think when facing Bayern Munich in the UCL later.

Tonight Lens will face Toulouse. The match is set to take place in a few hours. Head-to-head Lens managed to defeat Toulouse by a large margin in their last meeting during the 17th round of Ligue 1 even though they were the away team at the time. But now Lens will host Toulouse at the Bollaert-Delelis Stadium. So I personally predict that Lens will win this upcoming match. Yes, it's certainly interesting especially since both teams are currently tied at the top of their respective leagues and haven't faced significant pressure in their respective domestic leagues, so both teams will be focused on the UCL. PSG initially faced pressure from Lens in Ligue 1, but Lens has slowly begun to lose its balance leading to inconsistency. Likewise, Muenchen is currently very comfortable at the top of the standings.

So, the semifinal match will be a heated contest between the two teams especially since both teams are currently in good form and are prolific in scoring goals. In fact, the schedule between PSG and Muenchen is fair as they have three matches before meeting, so if you call it a busy schedule both teams actually have a packed schedule. This is where a team squad depth and a brilliant coach come into play.

PSG would be going into this game as defending champions, all through this season's campaign in the UCL they have played with that same mentality, they have being formidable as well as invincible in almost all the matches played but against Bayern Munich.
Its going to be very different because the Germans are probably one of the best teams in both bundesliga in Germany where they have continually dominated this season. I think this is going to be the most difficult game of this season and it might probably end up in a penalty shootout.

After PSG successfully reached the UCL semifinals, it is now clear that Luis Enrique role is very big in PSG journey so far.  Facing Bayern Munich marks the beginning of their peak UCL campaign this season. Luis Enrique must be more careful in formulating his strategy because Real Madrid has just fallen victim to their ferocity. As the defending champions, PSG certainly won't let their chance of winning the UCL trophy for a second consecutive time slip away. I expect this match to happen in the final, but since one of them will be eliminated, maybe the winner will win the UCL trophy this season considering that Arsenal and Atletico, who will be their opponents in the final, have been very unstable in the last few matches.

Of course, PSG and Bayern are the strongest of the four teams in the 25/26 UCL, so I think the upcoming semi-final matches will bring the same excitement between them as the final. Looking at their dedication and concentration, we can assume that they have some chance of winning the trophy this time too but the headache is that Bayan is going to be their semi-final opponent.

From what I've seen, this team didn't give Liverpool a chance in the first and second legs of the UCL quarter-finals, but rather took advantage and destroyed the Premier League team. The French club showed a one-sided domination in the quarter-final matches as it surprised us all that they scored two goals in the first leg and won the second leg 2-0 but the Red Devils failed to score in any of the matches.

It is that simple! The Ligue 1 doesn't even have more than one team who could fight for the championship in European tournaments.

They have only PSG for that... I don't care about the Conference League as you might say that Strasbourg are in the semi finals there.

Do they have any other team who can fight hard in the Champions League? No right? This league doesn't deserve any extra quota as a result.

To @MAAManda, I don't dislike the support from the Ligue 1 federation, but I dislike the way it's being done. As @Alonso explained, other leagues don't do this, unless the Ligue 1 schedule overlaps with the UCL. I can understand that, but their Ligue 1 schedule is the same as other leagues.
What I don't want are future consequences. For example, if another Ligue 1 team performs exceptionally in European competition, the federation will have to do the same, which could impact the league structure they've already established.

Lens vs Toulouse

Lens was surprising one of the major title contender this season who remained at the top of the league table for some weeks. Unfortunately they got overwhelmed along the line which is why they declined and seem to have given up on the title race even when the difference in point between them and PSG is just 4 excluding PSG 1 outstanding match. Tonight Lens is also showing a very huge weakness as they face Toulouse who they are supposed to be better than. The concede two consecutive goals from Toulouse before they score one goal after their visitors received one red card. They may succeed in will the match tonight because of the red card but that does not mean they still stand a chance at winning the league.
