This season Lens did put pressure on PSG but it was short-lived. They weren't strong enough to compete with PSG who consistently performed well in every match. Lens' defeat to Lille last week made PSG even more comfortable at the top of the league. PSG next match will be against Lyon. With PSG form after beating Liverpool in the Champions League, I think this will be a good opportunity to beat Lyon at home. This victory is crucial for PSG to quickly secure the title and focus on facing Munich in the Champions League semifinals.

At the moment he has a 4 point lead, which isn't much, especially if we consider that Paris Saint-Germain has two very difficult games to play against Bayern Munich.
I think it will be a very intense period for Paris Saint-Germain and Lens must take advantage of it here.

Lens was surprising one of the major title contender this season who remained at the top of the league table for some weeks. Unfortunately they got overwhelmed along the line which is why they declined and seem to have given up on the title race even when the difference in point between them and PSG is just 4 excluding PSG 1 outstanding match. Tonight Lens is also showing a very huge weakness as they face Toulouse who they are supposed to be better than. The concede two consecutive goals from Toulouse before they score one goal after their visitors received one red card. They may succeed in will the match tonight because of the red card but that does not mean they still stand a chance at winning the league.

It is very hard to understand Lens these days with their inconsistency. How will they be conceding two goals in the first half of the game against Toulouse, who are not that strong? The most surprising thing to me is that Lens is the host of the game.So, anyhow, I expected Lens should win this game, but let’s just see what is going to happen in the second half. As it stands, Toulouse have received a red card, and it is now 11 men against 10 men. With this, they should be able to have a good result in this match; they can even win the match. I expected a draw, though.

They tried more than our expectations, but still, they failed.All those matches they were losing if they had won them, they should have been on top of the table by now. I think you can't blame Lens now for their recent inconsistent performance. What's happening to them now shows the difference between a big team and a team that is trying to grow, of a truth we had expected Lens to be ahead of PSG due to the activities of PSG but that's not happening rather PSG keeps getting better while they lose points. They are losing by 1:2 currently and if the game ends with the score PSG will extend their lead and they will be out of the title race. To challenge a big team the other club has to have good players you can't compare Lens players to that of PSG the squad depth is different.

I know that these small teams doesn't have squad depth to be able to achieve a long term results but how can they grow if they don't strive to achieve a greater results irrespective of the challenges they are faced with. Most of the teams that are becoming regular champions were teams that were nowhere to be found in the past but through consistency they have been able to make a lot of money for the club and they became stronger. PSG wasn't this popular in the past, it was from 2012 that they started making outstanding performances so if they can get this level of achievement within just 15 years, any team can do it too if they prepare themselves very well.

 The French League is a farmers League and will always remain a Farmers League considering what they’re doing in terms of postponement of games in favour of Paris-Saint-German, French League isn’t a very serious League, because I don’t think a League that is serious would be requesting for postponement of League games because you’re playing in the Champions League, I wondering if the Premier League, and La Liga, and German League can be doing such things just to win a Champions League trophy, and I was also wondering if they were getting their games postponed last season when they won the Champions League, and I’m completely sure that Paris-Saint-German aren’t winning this Champions League.

PSG doesn't mind the rescheduling to represent Ligue 1's qualification for the UCL, but it's unfair for other teams. Just look at the past few seasons where PSG's dominance has made Ligue 1 seem uninteresting because other teams appear weaker. Meanwhile, this season, Lens tried hard to win the title, but the surprising rescheduling of the Lens vs PSG match has resulted in disappointment. PSG also has a postponed match, ensuring that PSG seems guaranteed to win another Ligue 1 title.

A strong winning record doesn't guarantee a particular team will be a title contender many other supporting factors can play a role in a team's success in the Champions League.

Toulouse played poorly defensively in this  match. Anyway , this strategy was very effective. If the referee had not shown Gboho a red card in  the 17th minute of the match, the whole match would have been very exciting.

Toulouse took a 2-0  lead in just  13 minutes of the match. Lens players could not take any advantage in the first half. Lens scored their first goal in the 61st minute. Lens played well. The most interesting  thing is that Lens players were able to take a total of 38 shots in this match, of which 14 were on target. Lens completely dominated  the match. And they were desperate to win.

Lens used the opportunity of the red card to do a comeback against Toulouse and that is a sign of a team that is serious, Lens start the game with a poor performance and concede two goals in the 13 minutes of the game and it the 17 minutes Toulouse get a red card and Lens have the opportunity to score three goals before the game end, red card is part of football but sometimes it affect a team that did not have a good defense, if Toulouse have a good defence it will be difficult for Lens to do the comeback.

Lens is on a good form and they are having a good season but if they face PSG they will lose the game because they don’t play well sometimes and if not for the red card Toulouse got in the early minutes of the game they are going to lose the game, PSG is in good form and it is very obvious that they are going to win the league this season.

Lens could be called contender of the title, however they are 1 point behind PSG which is still lacking two matches including Lyon one which will be tough in my opinion if we exclude the favor that PSG has done to Lyon earlier this season.

I had this same feeling too, while they were at the knockout stage, I felt PSG was not going to make it through because they were not looking like they can and there is this taught that defending a title is  often hard and tougher than winning the title due to the attention that will be on the team and everyone will want contend the team with a different approach, so the fears where that PSG may stop at the knockout but it is really good to see them at this point now and we hope they win or the better side does.

well the lens seems to still be in the game to win something, i think it's impossible now to get something good but even a point is always a good thing, clearly they have to work hard and keep the pace high, and hope that PSG make a misstep but i don't think that will ever happen.

PSG reputation has increased after winning the Champions League trophy last season and reaching the semifinals of the UCL again this season. This success cannot be separated from the role of Luis Enrique, who has experience in this competition with teams he has previously managed. Winning the League 1 trophy might not be difficult for them, especially after losing the top spot some time ago, now they have managed to take over the position from Lens.
Now PSG main focus is on the game vs Bayern Munich, they also don't exclude League 1, but considering the UCL is full of challenges and the remaining teams are the best teams from each League, PSG must be more focused to maintain the opportunity to win the UCL trophy for the second time in a row. If this scenario is achieved, then PSG will create a new history that is difficult for other French teams to do.

I didn't follow up this particular match but from the score line one can tell that they were very lucky and narrowly escaped defeat, Toulouse scored the first two goals and if not that they were a man down, maybe they would've scored more before or after the first half. Well Lens did well by taking advantage of Toulouse's misfortune.

 Some teams would've still lost even when they're playing against an opponent that's one man down, I've seen that happen severally that's why I think Lens tried. Maybe if Toulouse had tried to attack few more times after their player was sent off, they would've been lucky to score another goal but it's obvious they tried to defend their goals and ended up losing the match. I doubt that PSG would allow Lens overtake them.
