What a great performance in this first half from arsenal they really didnt let man city players perform, they didnt give them much space and they had killer counters which they could've scored more goals especially martinelli who was the man of this first half he was really dangerous on the otherhand man city players performed poorly exept for sterling jesus and de bryune they did an ok first half i guess.

Arsenal's performance was quite good today in attack but their defense was a bit weak today and even often panic when Manchester City players attack, I hope that in the second half Arsenal can maintain their focus, because if not, of course Manchester City players will try to put pressure on them, the next 45 minutes will be quite a tough match for arsenal and hopefully arsenal can win today.

I think 45 minutes is not really applause about good or not performance but waiting could Arsenal consistent until 90 minutes? now 59th minutes Manchester City success scoring trough penalty kick from Mahrez. I think left than 30 minutes will most interested and Manchester City dominance on ball possession maybe score prefer City will make one or two goal left 30 minutes later. Gabriel red card was disastrous for arsenal today, even though arsenal lost to manchester city but I applaud arsenal  struggle today despite only playing with 10 people, I admit manchester city was lucky enough today and I don't mean to look for the reason for the defeat, but what is certain is that the referee leadership was not neutral and was actually very detrimental to Arsenal when he made a decision.

Arsenal had to admit the superiority of Manchester City after Rodri scored a goal in injury time. Arsenal were actually able to play well, but losing one player did affect the team's game. I know I hate Citeh but anyone watching this would be hard-pressed to say they deserved to win. A draw was probably the fairest result, but Arsenal indeed have themselves to blame. So many chances, some unlucky post hits, they should have taken this home and Gabriel? He let his team down with his sending off I think. Arteta's supposed to have fixed his team's disciplinary problems but I guess when your own captains keep ruining the team spirit, this wasn't a surprise.

City's to lose, but if they keep playing as badly as they do (and really, they are), maybe they slip up. Unlikely that Liverpool can take advantage though, unless they get their own string of 11 wins on the trot.

I don't blame the referee because he might still make mistakes. What is certain is that Arsenal have to admit defeat today despite being able to play quite well throughout the match. I thought Arsenal were great in the first half, but not in the second. After all Arsenal could have ended the match with a draw had they not been too stalling. But unfortunately Manchester City took advantage of the opportunity to score the winning goal that provoked the emotions of the supporters in the stadium. It was a good game today.

I thought Man city wouldn't win much. Arsenal can make it difficult for Man City. It's a shame they had to lose Gabriel. Playing with 10 players makes arsenal a little weak. Watford - Tottenham match just started and sorry to any Watford fan but I'm expecting a win for Tottenham. This is a real chance for them to get back on a good track and move up a bit and IMO Watford simply can't compete with them. Of course, this is football and anything can happen but still...

Arsenal was in total control of the match outplayed Man City until Gabriel was redcarded, infact Man City couldn't have a shot on target in the first half, had Arsenal converted all their glaring scoring chances they could have convincingly win the match, however unnecessary foul by Xhaka that resulted to the penalty and  some poor officiating and bad VAR decisions also contributed to Arsenal loss, I believe the young gunners deserve a point in the match, however the team has a bright future.

I don't see it as luck because they are definitely aiming for this win. Arsenal also played well, but unfortunately some chances could not be converted into goals. Gabriel's red card was the start of Arsenal's decline. They have to be satisfied with this result even though it is disappointing. Their point acquisition must be held in week 20, and that gives West Ham the opportunity to catch up with them in the standings.

True, I think Arsenal also played well even though in the second half they only played with 10 players. Arsenal had some good chances to score but sadly they missed and I don't know some people might blame VAR.

This week Manchester City managed to lead the standings by winning 11 points from Chelsea and 12 points from Liverpool. But I believe Manchester City can still lose or draw in the next few match, this might help Chelsea or Liverpool to get closer to City's points in the table. Chelsea vs Liverpool match tomorrow, Klopp can't lead his team because of Covid, but I don't think it has much effect on Liverpool's perform.

You are can of course understand what I mean, if you look at the performance of the two teams and also the performance of the referee today.
As a fan of my arsenal, I don't feel sad if in today match arsenal lost, because everyone who watched the match certainly could Judging how great Arsenal players are today against Manchester City, apart from that supposing Arsenal don't get a red card, it's not impossible if the match will end in a draw or even Arsenal win,  you can try to look at the statistics.

The competition for the top 4 positions seems to be getting exciting when it enters the mid-season phase. I feel this is a pretty good thing because the 3 teams here are now starting to have to be able to make a win so they don't get kicked out of this position.
Arsenal are currently in a difficult position because they will face City in the next match and this is definitely very difficult to win considering that City is now so dangerous and is still safe in first position.

Well, even though Arsenal lost at least Arsenal are still safe in 4th place, I personally don't believe Arsenal will be able to hold Manchester City to a draw even though this time Arsenal are playing at home. But other than that, basically Arsenal in the previous 5 matches can play very well with a convincing big win. I agree with you. This match shows that Arsenal players are maturing a lot in this season. Manchester City did not easily to destroy Arsenal and if Arsenal did not lose their player because of red card, the ending can be different.

However, this result shows the importance of star players which are abundant in Manchester City. All players will have good and bad matches but because Manchester City have many stars so that in each match, one of their stars will shine and bring them to victory. This match would be a motivation for Arsenal to keep improving their strength and it will be a very happy ending but unexpected at season beginning, if they can finish in top 4 and be qualified for Champions League next season.

Next game Watford - Tottenham? Tottenham has been in a fine form recently, a win for them looks sure today.

I choose Tottenham because of same reason you said. They are fine and have good form recent matches. They will try to collect points and wait for other opponents lose points in this New year tournament. Watford seems to be not strong enough to constrain Tottenham.

Currently, the position is 1:1 which indicates that the performance of both clubs has been very good. Judging from the attack strategy, everything went very optimally.
