Brighton is simply fantastic against big teams. They are continuing where they stopped last season and have already won against United and Chelsea and drawn with Liverpool.
Chelsea did help them by scoring 2 own goals, but 4-1 is a statement win - something Brighton needed after failing to win in their last 5 games.

City wasn't that good without Haaland but still had enough for a minimal win against Leicester. They briefly took over the lead on the table, with Arsenal still having to play this weekend.

I didnt expect honestly a win from Brighton. They destroyed them today and the bad run of Chelsea continues their bad results continue and they just cannot get a winning streak. Two own goals are just a suicide for Chelsea and they couldnt comeback. Chelsea now is 8 points behind Man City

They are 8 points behind Manchester City and Arsenal haven't played their game yet.  If Arsenal win the match, they will be the leader and Chelsea will be 10 points behind them.  Let's be frank, it takes a miracle to close this score gap.  The goal for Chelsea now will be to finish in the top 4 of the league.  Congratulations to Brighton, they played an excellent game.

Every manager loss after every good run, it's natural, Brighton was the better team.

Too this Cucrella feature of a thing in the defense line had lapses and isn't working out for him, he should stop featuring him in that wing. Chelsea loosing 4-1 against Brightonham is a huge margin lose for a team like Chelsea.

That Cucurella idea and playing position is not working for Graham Potter, he should find a way to change his wing or change the player. Cucurella exposes Chelsea defence to dangers. He did it in their last match against Manchester United and discover the lapses and substituted him for Covasic around 36mins. Again today he was also weak which exposed Silva to too many pressure. Another thing I saw was playing Loftux over Chilwell.  I don't think that it is a great idea. If he can consider to start every match with Aubameyang, it will give him more chances of scoring goals.

Chelsea were exposed too much of time today and Brighton gave Chelsea too much of pressure. Thing is that Chelsea need strong defence but with Koulibaly and Fofana injured  Potter has to work out with remaining options which are not ideal as centre defence positions. They are gonna struggle a bit for now if they face good sides like Brentford or like Brighton today.

Those guys have transformed and are much more better that you think. They can win any team in England and they can score Hugh number of goals. I just wish to inform you.

Newcastle 3:0 Aston Villa....

Even I have realized it from last season when Newcastle managed to get out of the relegation zone and could end the season in the middle of the table, it was not an easy comeback but Newcastle can do very well. Thus, this season is a continuation season for Newcastle to prove their rise as a rich team. I am really impressed with the way they have recovered and recovered fully, because even though they are a rich team but they recovered or came back with a squad that is arguably not a luxury squad. But now they can even compete in the top four, which can certainly pose a threat to any team.

Leicester will not be easy to give up, because even though Leicester defended more because Manchester City did not stop attacking but Leicester still had efforts to score goals. Anyway this is a big chance for Leicester at least to draw Manchester City or lose by only one goal difference is not bad either, because at this moment Haaland cannot be played because he is still injured.

After a win against Tottenham, Newcastle can surely easily beat Aston Villa and the hero in this match is Callum Wilson again, this guy seems to be showing his best performance this season.

Manchester City narrowly escape today match with just a goal difference and this is a very bad one for Manchester City because alt of goals were expected in the mathc since they up against a smaller club but it is so unfortunately the match ende with just 1 goal.

Manchester City may have been solid with Haaland, if he doesn't play Manchester City won't get as many goals, in the premier league it is difficult to predict even a small club can make a surprise as match Nottm Forest vs Liverpool.

Brighton did not let Chelsea out of their half in the first minutes, they scored the first goal in the fifth minute. It was obvious that the chelsea defense made two big mistakes. The second goal was scored from a chelsea corner kick, they lost the most from corner kicks this year. Chelsea tried hard for the second goal, but they couldn't score. Brighton won the game by scoring another goal in extra time. Chelsea should review the defensive line, very simple mistakes were present in this match.

Surprises can happen, yes, but I don't think such a result as happened between Nottingham and Liverpool would repeat itself very often. A lot of things went the right way for Nottingham on that day and a lot of things wrong for Liverpool.

Anyway, Manchester City got used to having Haaland on the team and scoring goals nonstop. De Bruynes free kick was extraordinary and he probably won't strike that way very often. Today the goal was invaluable and in the right moment. It was hard to strike back then as in most cases Manchester City understands to play these games the smart way till the very end. That's what they did, collect the three points and that's it. No masterpiece, but exactly what they needed without wasting too many resources.

Brighton dealt with Chelsea mercilessly. I don't know if am wrong to say, Potter intentionally sold out this match to his former club. The formation and selection of players he used in playing against Brighton are so wrong(3,4,2,1). He How can you play a three-man defence in an away match against a club that pushes attacks and also needs winning desperately?
Am very much disappointed with Chelsea's coach changing ball formations every week

Chelsea could not maintain the positive trend they have achieved since Graham Potter took charge of the club. And they had to be destroyed at home by the former club that Graham Potter had managed. Brighton seems to be showing they can do better without Graham Potter. Actually I wasn't too surprised when Chelsea had to drop points, which surprised me when I saw how easy it was for Brighton to score against them. Chelsea only replied to 1 goal which was not enough for them to at least get 1 point.

If we look at the statistics, indeed Manchester City can dominate the game, but being under pressure does not make Leicester City lose to create opportunities even though they did not score goals. Without Erling Haaland I see Manchester City's attack weakened and can't do much. It seemed they needed the young man to be in their front row.

He should be sticking to at least some routes. Changing everything and turning the squad upside down isn't always the right solution. Taking into account that Chelsea wasn't horribly bad under Tuchel, Potter shouldn't be trying out too many experiments during this phase of the season.

I wonder whether Tuchel really got sacked because of bad performances or whether then new boss/bosses of Chelsea are on an ego trip and wanted to change things whatever way they envisioned to be great for them. In my opinion Tuchel isn't a bad coach and I would have kept him for at least a little while and see how things play out. Now Chelsea hasn't improved at all.

That's not surprising especially because I'm sure Brighton will do well at home. In my previous post, I said Brighton have a mission to win that match because they are playing at home, and it is true that they beat chelsea with a promising score of 4-1. But I believe a defeat like this is hard to believe because Chelsea can actually be relied on in that match.

Newcastle are getting better, they took advantage of that improvement to take maximum points without any mistakes. But I don't expect much from them because in reality Newcastle are still in the stage of improvement.

Spurs fought hard to win Bournemouth. The made a brilliant come back in the second half the match ended 2-3.As for Chelsea loss Loftus-cheek and Chalobah crippled Graham Potters strategy with their OG. Everyone was expecting the exact opposite of  what played out between Brighton and Chelsea seeing that Graham Potter who left Brighton for Chelsea will understand the tactics of his former club but instead got his first loss for the season and the match ended in the first half.

Brighton was unpredictable because they played by winning a lot of goals even though there was an own goal 2 but Chelsea couldn't reply and they struggled quite a bit until the end of the game, you can say Brighton is a dark horse that can't be guessed even though we previously concluded Chelsea will win but it was all wrong because Brighton broke your prediction.

The only team that can survive is Newcastle who has now climbed the top back to standings 4 in the Premier League, they beat several other teams I think they are strong enough to beat this should not be underestimated because I'm pretty sure Newcastle can be a competitor title.

Man City defeats Leicester and gains ground Chelsea's loss to Brighton 4:1 is very disappointing for Chelsea to be defeated in this manner, with Trossard scoring the first goal in five minutes just too amazing and Pascal Gross scoring the second goal during the additional two minutes added and Kai Havertz scoring Chelsea goal with a good assist from Conor Gallagher. You've said the truth, and it looks like Newcastle fans just need to enjoy the moment instead of expecting much in the end. It's too early to say that Newcastle can keep up their good form, but the improvement so far has been great.

If Newcastle can be in top 4 by January, many good players will be attracted to the club and it will help them contest to secure a champions league spot.

For sure, some players will be attracted not because of their chances of being in the Champions League, but because of the money and high salaries. But that will soon change when Newcastle prove their quality until the end of the season.

I am indeed not happy with Potter's selection for the match. And Chelsea paid dearly for it. This is the issue I have with many managers, the man is struggling to make sure everyone fits in. He comes up with some horrendous team selections. The team looked out of sync. Therefore, I wouldn't criticize any player on this match because I don't believe any of the players in this game comprehended how to play in that formation. Imagine him bringing in Broja, a target man then send him to the wing. Does this make any sense?
