I didn't beleive Chelsea had what it takes to win or even equalise Manchester city. Chelsea is a good team for sure but at this point in the EPL, they are not such a good team and teams like Manchester City could actually hope to meet them, play against them and win like they did today.

Well actually they had what it takes to win. First of all, it was a home game so Chelsea definitely have some advantage here and aside from that Chelsea actually created decent chances of goal scoring opportunity against Manchester City which is one the favourite to win the league. They lack of the execution to score goals but I was kinda expecting Manchester City to have it way easier against Chelsea but it turned out the a good match between these two

Even though Chelsea lost against Manchester City, her fans will be happy with the way the team played. In comparison to their previous games, Chelsea performed far better. Chelsea fought hard against Manchester City, but their luck ran out when it came to scoring.

Potter ought to start Chukwuemeka more often than just occasionally. As he attempted to score and provided opportunities for other players to score, his presence in the game was noticed.

I believe Manchester city have all it takes to win tonighr match against Chelsea and even though man city is having tough time in making goals score, ultimately the field performance is of a high defensive level, and even though man city may not score an extra goal 3there is no way they will not walk away with the present 1 goal.

Mahrez's 1 goal made it an important win for Manchester City in this match. They pressed in the second half and I think it was a deserved win. on the other hand I'm also quite happy because the odds of 7.0 for my Manchester City win were not wasted and will be one of my biggest wins for 2023

Mahrez's goalw as making city cuts the gap to the arsenal. It seems like we were able to see that how bad chelsea is. Chelsea is always performing so bad like the team can do nothing. Chelsea was losing again and again. It looks so horrible to see that the result from chelsea. I would not be surprised if potter will be got sacked again. It seems like that todd was thinking so hard about that. It's good city earned full points from this match

The match was over, and in the end manchester city managed to secure 3 points today. They did well the whole game, but Chelsea are the same. It's just that Chelsea failed to capitalize on some good chances to score, it's looking bad for them who have only won 7 games out of 17 so far. Somehow in the end, Chelsea still have to get up and try their best because they are one of the teams that are expected to be able to compete at the top.

Today Sterling and Pulisic had problems, they looked like they had to go off injured and couldn't continue. Really it was a loss for Chelsea but the substitutes were impressive.

Chukuwuemeka who came on for Christian Pulisic had impact in the match as he was the only player with short in target for Chelsea in the first half. The combination of Zakaria and Kovacic was so solid that Manchester City had to go through the wings to open Chelsea up.
Chalobah should have been used for that right full back position, Azpilicueta seem dull and not ready fir that game.

Eight league games and Chelsea has just won just a single game, wow! Aubameyang doesn't seem welcome into potters side, I don't s we them crossing balls for him to score. Chelsea will regret sacking Thomas Tuchel especially in fixtures as this, Graham Potter is not the right person for Chelsea Management.

Manchester City reduced the score difference to five. Now the league will be much more contentious. Arsenal is still ahead and advantageous, but the Manchester City from behind poses a major threat. I was expecting City to win this match, it was obvious that they would win, albeit difficult. It would be bad for them to lose two weeks in a row. Pep prepared the team well for the match.

Their game was still very losing even though in this match they lost by 1 goal, but they still couldn't improve their performance. Now they have been knocked down to 10th place in the standings what should they be happy about because this is a bad thing.

Pretty big win for Man City as expected and this is really important because Arsenal dropped some pretty much important points yesterday. With this wins this gives them big confidence to fight for the title. While Chelsea is in deep trouble with yet again dropping points.

I think there is nothing to be happy about for Chelsea supporters. The result is the most important thing and they lost the game unfortunately. They were really effective especially in the first half. I believe Manchester City weren't expecting what was coming for them so they struggled against them for a while. Chelsea should have been able to take advantage of this but they couldn't score.

After failing in doing so for a long time Manchester City punished them by a classical goal of them. We saw another 1-0 victory in Stamford Bridge by Manchester City. This was important for them after drawing with Everton.

That was clearly the tactical implementation they required. Manchester City's coach knew exactly what impact those two substitutes would have on the attacking line, and he brought them in at the right time. They altered the game, resulting in a victory for their team, and their work was completed. They won the game by defending the game well until the end.

Unfortunately, in the Chelsea match against Manchester City, which was won by Manchester City, Riyad Mahrez was lucky to score a goal and maintain Manchester City's position until the end of the match, giving the victory to Manchester City. Pep knew what they had to do in the second half and changing their two defenders at the start of the second half was the right decision I think.
On the other hand their dominance in possession and chances were increased again in the second half and the result was not bad. goals from Mahrez were the only ones that were created in this match but indeed even though they closed the distance with Arsenal they still couldn't relax especially since their points were still 5 points away.

If Chelsea should continue this way then they should say bye bye to top 4,  currently on 25 points maybe a draw would have be ok, but loosing a game like this in this critical time might prove so costly later in the campaign. Manchester city just have a way of grinding out results from games like this and it's a great one. So they now close the gap between them and Arsenal who dropped points some days ago against Newcastle, if Chelsea are expecting anything possible our of this campaign then they have to buckle up fast.

If Chelsea had been performing like this, they won't have lost or drawn some of their matches the way they did. Their 10th position is not encouraging at all but let's not forget that some of their best players are on the injury.

Sincerely what Chelsea needs badly is a striker that can help do the scoring.

Chelsea probably expects at least to have a drawn match that is why they seem to be defensive in this match. Because Chelsea may have realized that their strength, especially their attack line, was far below Man City, so they could hold off to a draw as best they could, but it didn't work. But, this will not work for a club like Man City. Although Man City was quite difficult to score even with many efforts, at least, they could make it once by Mahrez. Unfortunately in this match, Haaland did not score a goal.

But on the other hand I think that unexpected conditions can happen but Arsenal are still strong and 1 point against Newcastle is actually still very good because Newcastle's performance this season is very different. As for Manchester City, it is clear that they must continue to get 3 points like this. 5 points looks still quite small but this is clearly difficult to catch up with Arsenal's current performance.
