The champions league qualification continues on week 31, this is the first time seven (7) teams are contesting for this position, last season we had 6 teams, surprisingly we have west ham who were some point fought relegation battle last season now occupy 4th position on the league table. Leicester fought hard last season but lost the spot to Chelsea. At this point, it's difficult to predict but West Ham won't make it



The relegation battle is shaping up. Sheffield United and Fulham positions are certain, the question now is between Brighton and Newcastle who is going down?

This season top 4 position in EPL will be keenly contested the four teams presently occupying those positions and those three team behind them sitting on the table  is not a guaranteed for next season UCL they have to work hard to remain in that position likewise Chelsea, Tottenham, Liverpool are also mounting pressure to occupy the top 4 so in the incoming matches no room for complacency from any of the present top4  and the other three teams from my own point of view

Better with top six position right now you make new fixture what their team fight left eight match to know which one team success to be top four and now primer league have been ended to discussing about who are the champion, we know Manchester City dominance and become bigger candidate to get trophy in this year because they have complicated team before league begin not like Liverpool, they have many player injury and they not consistent until end league.

Manchester City ? - ? Leeds United; Pep and his boys want a win to further wrap up their title league earlier so that they can concentrate on the champions league; while Leeds want to remain in the top half of the league; Wih Leeds united open style; can they get a draw at the etihad ?

Liverpool ? - ? Aston Villa; Liverpool at home to VILLA today having fresh wounds coming from the 7-2 drubbing away in the first round of tie; with Villa having 2 unplayed ties; it is rather better for Liverpool to pick up 3 points today, but can they ? I see another draw today, a scintillating 2-2 draw.

Crystal Palace ? - ? Chelsea; The odds on Chelsea are quite easy, draw or lose today and slip further away from the champions league position in the league; with poor goalscoring forwards and patchy form, can chelsea leave Selhurst park with a win ? I see a palace victory here, Palace 2 - 1 Chelsea.

This weekend we will have a super Sunday between Tottenham Hotspur and Manchester United. In early of this season, Spurs destroyed Manchester United but after that big win, Spurs slipped down in forms and now they have been struggling to fight for the fourth position on the table.

Spurs made a big statement back then, when they beat Manchester United 6-1, people thought they prolly could go all they way and win the league, but at this moment, it's all about if they can make it into the top four position and qualify for the Champions league next season, I don't think they will though. For Manchester United, it's to stay as close as possible to City and hope (even if it's the tiniest of hope) for a slip up (one I cannot see forthcoming); I think Spurs will either win this game, or it ends in a draw.

Manchester City ? - ? Leeds United; Pep and his boys want a win to further wrap up their title league earlier so that they can concentrate on the champions league; while Leeds want to remain in the top half of the league; Wih Leeds united open style; can they get a draw at the etihad ?

Bielsa knows quite a lot about Pep, and there's also mutual respect between the both managers, so anytime they play, it's usually an interesting game to watch, the first leg ended in a 1-1 draw, back then though, City were still struggling, while Leeds were doing good things in the league, I think this game will be completely different and I can only see a victory for Pep's team.

+ Liverpool vs Aston Villa: not the Liverpool of 2019-2020 season, or the starting of the season, but a different and improved Aston Villa team from 2019-2020, the never to be forgotten first leg still taste bitter in the mouth of Liverpool, I think Liverpool would take a win this time.

The whole problem this season for Liverpool is that Van Dijk is not playing. it is a big mess in their defense every game.

Van Dijk is a key player in the defence line and his absence among other players made Liverpool looks miserable in different leagues. Klopp mission right now is to join CL (or EL) next time.. maybe.

Certainly... Liverpool are missing their two centre-backs who were quite good than what they have right now. Right now Kabak and Philips are adapting  and learning things and they are not that perfect yet. Van Dijk plays a major role in defense and his absence sure his hurting them as there is no real leader in defence line to lead them properly. ]

Today they have game against Aston Villa and they surely want to make up for the humiliating loss they faced last time. But they also have the leg game in which they need to cover deficit so lot of things must be going inside the head of Klopp.

There will always be possibilities that will happen during the match and because of that, I just believe that each team will definitely continue to focus on the match that day and not the next match. So, I'm sure these two big teams will still win with that early goal which will allow the rotation of players to allow it to rest for the next match.

I’m pretty disappointed not seeing Aguero in the line up.  He’s not even in the sub roster.  He’s not injured anymore afaik.  Maybe Pep is saving him for the CL second leg vs BVB?

I think Man City, Liverpool and Chelsea will win today... In the win of Man City and Chelsea I have no doubts, but I have doubts about Liverpool... The last match against Real took a lot of energy and showed the form of the club... I don't think Aston Villa is an easy opponent!

Another game, and VAR has done another poor job, last night it was a disallowed goal for Jose; today it is an unjust red card for Leeds player, COOPER. That was never a red card challenge; Leeds still lead with a goal, sacrificing Bamford for a defender. Will they be able to contain Manchester City? If Leeds can break on the counter and score a second, yes.

Manchester city has lacked  creativity, If Gundogan or De bruyne come in early; then it could be turnaround, else its a Leeds win.

It is now a one all draw at the Etihad in the 80th minute; city equalized with a good goal from Ferran Torres; with Leeds united hanging on after being down to 10 men.
10 minutes left to play, can City get a win? or would Leeds win at the end ?

FT: Manchester City 1 - 2 Leeds United; Leeds united got a very deserved win after defending well, and taking their chances. City lose again at home; Title parade postponed and  they are 14 points above Manchester united who has 2 games in hand.

I noticed when City trails with a goal at the end of the first half, it does not win at the end of the match, so it happened with it in the last 9 matches !
This results is not that gamechanging City will still be winning the league and Leeds will finish mid table I think Pep did the right thing saving De Bruyne for the Champions game.

Don't understand what's wrong with City, because even Leeds have only played with 10 players and even though City have lost their form I'm sure City will still win because the difference in players on the field is a clear differentiating factor. But indeed, from its last 3 matches Leeds got good results, but that is not a guarantee that they can win away against the leaders' team.
Anyone who bets on City may they have patience, because you are not alone in this defeat!

When you look at such statistics, it's hard to believe that it was Leeds who won this match, with two shots and two goals. Of course, the main reason is that Guardiola is keep the main players for the Champions League, but in this match Manchester City definitely deserved to win.

Leeds United has always been a thorn in a flesh whenever they play Man City statistically any of the two teams can win the match however despite Leeds Utd playing 10 men still won the match this is an incredible display their defence was is solid  The squad paraded by City are of good quality there shouldn't be any excuses that Guordiola rested some key players for their UCL return leg kudos to Leeds United for their excellent performance particularly their manager for parading a well discipline team
