Hopefully what is predicted will come true, because Liverpool need a win to keep getting closer to Manchester City's points tally, although it's a little difficult to match their points.

I will be following the Manchester City - Tottenham match closely this weekend. Manchester City are given an odd like a joke. It is around 1.25 now.    Tottenham's is above 10 now on many betting websites. Bookmakers are seeing a very clear Manchester City victory at the end of this match. And they are not wrong about thinking in this way too of course. In the end, Manchester City are the leader and the biggest contender for the title by an insane run. And Tottenham's recent form is terrible with three consecutive losses. But maybe I could just try my luck with a draw here but I wouldn't bet much money on it of course.

Of course Newcastle could perform well and grab a point or three but I am looking for a WHU win or draw.

I don't care about the prediction of betting sites, the chance of Man City should be bigger considering its current performance. In the last match in EPL, they can win 4-0 against Norwich. While in UCL, they can destroy Sporting with 5-0. No doubt that Man City is on fire lately, Tottenham will have no chance to get points in the next match. The nightmare persists for Manchester United now. I really expected them to defeat Southampton even though I knew that they were in a problematic condition. But they got another disappointing result by a draw. And tomorrow, Manchester United are going to play their only missing game against Brighton. It is very important for them to start winning again as they didn't get satisfying results for two weeks in a row. Brighton are a tough team to beat maybe but I hope Manchester United can still do it.

It's good to see both Mane and Salah still have good teammateship in Liverpool after the Africa tournament. It's better to see they came back to Liverpool without injury and still have good performance. With them and the return of Firmino, Liverpool will have very good attacking power. And sure, Norwich are not strong enough to constrain Liverpool so that I vote for a win for Liverpool.

It is not impossible but not easy to catch up with Manchester City. Their performance in Champions League will affect their concentration and player resource allocation in Premier League. It seems Liverpool have done their job very well and will have more easily job in the second match with Inter Milan in Anfield. Manchester City undoubtely want to win Champions League and Pep also want to win his first Champions League beyond Barcelona. He wants to prove that his success in Barcelona is not mainly comes from the golden generation of La Massia players.

How far those clubs can go as well as how difficult they will face with in Champions League will help their competitor probably have more advantage in Premier League. It's too soon to say and predict anything so let's wait.

Time is unavoidable requirement for Newcastle to change gradually from a weak to a strong team. Even if they spend $1B in a single transfer season, it won't make them to be another Bayern or PSG. It takes months for new players to understand each other, get good connections from training and bring it to real matches. It takes time for them to change from lack of confidence to strong confidence. In addition, they can not convince best players to join them in a single transfer season.

It's good for them to have such performance improvement and staying in Premier League will be a good achievement for them. At least they will be able to convince good players to move to Newcastle. It is terrible if they get delegated to Championship with huge transfer budget. Then they will only be able to buy above-averaged players, not star ones.

You are very right,any team can be defeated unpredictably but not this Tottenham,is close to impossible for Tottenham Hotspur to suprise Manchester city and steal the three points. Tottenham are playing 3 at the back with two wing full backs but the players playing in those positions are calamity waiting to happen,at right back they have Emerson and Doherty both are so average and are prone to causing more than three mistakes in a single game,same at left back sessegnon and Reguilion can't defend well because they are not physically strong so I wonder how can such players stop Manchester City brilliant attackers.

You are right about Tottenham, but Manchester United has exactly the same problems. That is why Tottenham can still make it into the Champions League qualifiers. As for the coach of Manchester, Ralf Rangnick is an outstanding manager indeed. Not sure if you know much about him from Germany, but he has an incredible reputation. The team just seems to not work properly. I don't know if it's misbalanced too much between offense and defense? I don't see Manchester being able to compete with City and Liverpool next year either, regardless of whom they sign for next season. They need to have a fresh restart somehow and build a real team over two or three years.

I don't want to devalue the good coach that Ralf Rangnick is. But looking at his curricula in terms of prizes, it's not that extraordinary. He won in Germany he only won the German Cup once, with Schalke 04. Where he had the greatest achievements was in Austria, two championships and two cups.

Of course he needs time to get Man United in a better position. But the tactical and strategic decisions for the team are not showing that he is capable of improving.  I could be wrong, but I feel that the team is playing worse now than with the old coach.

And a team like Man United, needs a coach that creates some kind of impact almost immediately, even if it doesn't make the team extraordinary, but you can see that the team is improving. And that doesn't seem to be happening.

I totally get your point and I was indeed not referring to any trophies or prizes Rangnick ever won. That's not a lot, I know. But Rangnick is the master architect of soccer clubs and a coach who is among the best when it comes to developing and improving players over time. As you said, that time isn't available when you work for a club like Manchester. You definitely got a point there.

Why a draw? It will be a shame, for example, if Tottenham wins (which may well happen since City cannot go on nolosing forever) and you bet on a draw. Although the odds of a draw are very good - 5.8 and may be worth the risk. I think a draw or Tottenham bet is also good since the odds are 3.6
