It's still goalless between Wolves and Newcastle, but Newcastle have been the better side with Wolves more comfortable without the ball and absorbing all the pressure and even when with the ball, there have been no attacking intent whatsoever just stringing a couple of passes over the field before being dispossessed.  I'd be surprised if Wolves are able to get a goal here tbh, it's looking all Newcastle or a barren draw.

Newcastle United won narrowly today in their 31st Premier League game, thanks to a penalty awarded by the referee and well done by Chris Wood. Now Newcastle United have been ranked 14th with 34 points from 31 matches.

Finally, Newcastle United have only 7 games left this season which will probably allow them to survive in the Premier League next season after previously limping in the relegation zone. I think Newcastle United's improvement so far is in line with what was expected especially after the change of coach midway through this season. Some new signings next season will make them stronger and get more attention in the Premier League.

Newcastle's performance improved again in this match after previously they couldn't play solidly and lost quite badly to Tottenham.
They look pretty dominating now in attack even though possession might have been Wolves ahead.

There's still room for improvement, i don't think that after that first half goal that was cancelled that Newcastle would have had any clear chance of scoring if not for the penalty in the second, they lost possession too often, lucky for them though, still very important three points for them. The home fans and supporters will be very happy with their coach Eddie Howe who have rescued them this season from relegation as they are now 10 points clear of that zone. The team really looked liked they were going to be relegated this season really though, they lost their first fourteen games this season, so their current position on the table and every win is really much celebrated.

Wolves supporters will be disappointed, but both teams have to look forward now to their next fixtures.

Although I expected Newcastle to win I knew it won't be s game with much goals both teams did exceptionally well, in terms of defense and it was always going to be like that. I very vital win for Newcastle, this would keep their survival hopes up. This puts Newcastle in 14th and wolves are on 8th after this. With Leicester city and Crystal palace but having two games and a game less than wolves respectively.

I think is going to be and interesting and entertaining match, because Tottenham will coming all out to get there three points so they can maintain their fourth position, knowing the kind of man Antonio is, I don't think will take jeopardize their opportunity and also this villa side are very good especially when they are playing at home,and they also have lot of players that can cause you problem in attack especially Coutinho and Watkins. This is the star match, a game of  good technical coaches in pep Guadiola and Jürgen Klopp. A game of powerful attacking players in both side and lots of skills from players like Mohamed Salah and Sadio Mane,with the new boy Luis Diaz and jota facing master's of the art like Mahrez,Bernado Silva, Phil FODEN and De bruyne, but what I want to see is the battle in the middle between FABINHO AND RODRI. predictions 2-2

Everton - Manchester United is going to be one of the first games of this match week. And it can be a really interesting game too. Everton are in a too bad condition right now. You know how they lost to Burnley yesterday too. And they are under a big threat of relegating from the league now. However, they can still play differently in this kind of big games. Manchester United will need to be really careful against them here. They also need an immediate win to sober up. And I hope they can beat Everton.

Two of my most hated teams as a Liverpool fan. Both rather insignificant in the grand scheme of things these days but it would be funny if Everton go down. I thought they’d be safe but their remaining fixtures are terrible. I think they might go down, they will probably lose to Man Utd tbh which will send them into deeper trouble.

Maybe you hate them but I think that it can be really fun to watch.    And Manchester United had better win as many games as possible in the remaining time of the season to maintain their chance for top four spots. Because they are already three points behind Tottenham and Arsenal both. And Arsenal have even one less game played in the league. If Manchester United lose points again here, then their chance for those spots would go down a lot. Because one of Arsenal and Tottenham teams can win this week.

It was a duly deserved win, I hate the fact that I underestimated Newcastle before the game, I was only lucky not to have chase the odds to bet on Wolves (@ 4+ Odds), Wolves didn't prove much of a threat until Newcastle took the lead, and Newcastle had luxury of chances to double/triple their advantage but were rather indecisive or wasteful if that would be the right term.

Newcastle after the win are pretty much safe from the relegation now, while Wolves chances of a spot in Europe have been dashed further.

The second half gave Newcastle opportunities to score goals but it wasn't utilized very well. It's a fantastic feeling that they later scored by penalty. At least they are now 10points above the relegation zone, which is a good relief for them. A second-half win by penalty is a 3points win.
I am hoping to see them qualify for the next premier league title race next year in a more defined form

Top games this weekend as Conte boys will be looking to win to continue the fight for top 4, while Aston Villa will want to end the season in the top 10 of the league standings. I see a Spurs draw albeit 2 goals scored apiece

Manchester City and Liverpool is the tie of league leaders; who ever wins will be first in the league until the next weekend. The tie is one that is usually won by small margins and i am unsure who to root for. A draw or a City win ? Time would tell

Many people believes this and it is incorrect. Manchester United have had 3 coaches in 6 years and have witnessed same level of performances year in, year out; This proofs that it is not a coaching problem, but a recruitment problem. In football, you cannot coach your way with poor technical players. Ralf has been there since december and it is still the same results; why ? Because they are the same incompetent average players.

I will be following the Arsenal - Brighton and Aston Villa - Tottenham games closely tomorrow. Because both of these games are important for the fourth place rivalry. Tottenham are ahead of Arsenal only thanks to their goal difference in total now. But this week seems to be more troubling for Tottenham rather than Arsenal. Because Arsenal are playing against Brighton in Emirates first. And I don't wait for them to lose any points in this game. Especially after the shocking loss versus C. Palace, they would focus on making up for it. And right after this game, Tottenham are playing an away game against Aston Villa. Maybe Aston Villa have no goal left in the league now but they are still a difficult competitor to beat.

We know that since Newcastle have had a new owner they are planning something big there to bring Newcastle to the top of standings

It is going to be difficult, of course they will hire a new coach, but talking about alluring quality players, i do not quite think so. Manchester United aren't going to be playing in the CL next season and they are really struggling; thus it is going to be extremely difficult for a quality player to move to United in their present circumstances. Next season i do not see United doing better than they are now, at the end of this season they will definely lose some good players and would not be able to replace them adequately.

The match between between spurs and villa will be a fascinating one, although all odds are for Tottenham's win I see a villa's upset. For me it will be a villa win

For the past 5 seasons now I think city vs Liverpool has been a fixture worthy of been termed the EPL's elcasico. I would fancy a Liverpool win but I see pep's team getting hold of the three points.

I think also that Manchester united need a good coach because they have good players who can change the game result anytime. But their playing is not in satisfactory level. It might be for instructions of coach. They need to hire a quality full coach to guide perfectly.

Newcastle in 2022 is a different team comparing to 2021, their results were way different and seems to be determined to avoid relegation at any cost!
Winning today's game vs Wolves was expected by bookies and that's what exactly happened.
With Everton and Burnley lacking 2 matches comparing to Newcastle, it is hard to know whether it is almost safe or has to win a couple of games. They have hard games left vs Liverpool, City, Arsenal +/- Leicester but I am pretty sure they will make it.

Although the possibility of Man United being in 4th position is still open, because Man United is only 3 points different from Tottenham who are
in 4th position. But if we look at Man United's inconsistent performance in the last few games, I doubt Man United will be in 4th place at the end of
the season. If it turns out that Man United failed to enter the top 4, it is possible that Man United will have difficulty getting star players next
season, because Man United does not play in the Champions League. Even though Man United need to buy some quality players to strengthen
their squad next season, especially Man United's defense is very bad, Man United is very easy to concede this season.
