One would have thought at least United can make top 4 but they have failed their fans and themselves too.

It was clear at one point in the season that United could not make the top four this season, they aren't a big team anymore and they can lose to absolutely any team, thus there is no way such a team can finish in one of the top four slots for the CL, United should be happy if the finish in 7th position. When OGS was manager, i made it known that i do not think he was the problem with United, and that their problems was deeper than just Ole, fast forward to the post-Ole era and Manchester United are not doing any better, they are still languishing as far away from the summit as possible, and now European football is more or less no longer within their reach.

United have Liverpool to play in the weekend, and they must have to be at their best not to get embarassed. I am worried for United next season, i think there would be an exodus of quality players from the team and they will struggle to allure good players into their team.

Looks like Brentford are back to their winning ways, after humiliating Chelsea with a 4-1 away victory and they beat Westham United who are competiting to qualify for europa League next season with a 2-0 win. If Brentford can continue this remarkable wins, they would surely be among the top 10 teams on the league table. Their next fixture is Watford who are ranked 19th position on the league table, Watford are in the relegation zone, they are definitely going out of the premier league this season after a poor starts in the beginning of the season.

Since Christian Eriksen joined Brentford, they have won every single game he has started and played 90 minutes, looks like he is their good luck charm. There are other good players in that team, Toney who already have 19 goals contribution for them this season. You've got to admire the zeal and tact shown by the Brentford players, the players in the team seem to believe in themselves and rallying  behind each other hence their recent winning records.

It's incredible how Manchester United are fighting for top 6 which if we are to judge by their recent form, it will be flattering to think they will make top 6. None of the first eleven team player in United can walk into Chelsea, Liverpool or Manchester City team. Clearly the club is just harboring players with big wages that are not delivering. One would have thought at least United can make top 4 but they have failed their fans and themselves too.

Lol I don't think there's anything extraordinary when it comes to fighting for 6th place, because the top paid players would want to play in the UCL and not in the Europa Conference League because that's even lower than the Europa League. But at least, Manchester United are still lucky to still have a seemingly stable income, because if there isn't a good income they won't be able to pay a lot of expensive players in the team. But sadly, their squad is just about expensive salaries but the quality is like a mediocre team that looks like it too, they will go further and further away from being in a position to get a european tournament.

Actually before they won against Chelsea and West Ham they played well because if you look at their statistics in the last 5 matches they only lost once to Leicester and even then with a narrow score.
Their productivity is also quite good in my opinion because in 5 matches they also always managed to create goals there.
but in the rest of the game they still have to be careful because there are some pretty strong opponents there like Tottenham

Brentford managed to get two wins pretty convincing in their last two games, now they are starting to get back into a pretty good form after cristian eriksen joined the squad, I think next season brentford will stay in the premier league because indeed they have run quite a distance from the current relegation, brentford performance against chelsea reminded me of everton two seasons ago, at that time everton was a team that was quite troublesome and difficult to beat by big teams and I think this season brentford did the same thing as everton in the last two seasons .

Brentford's 4-1 win over Chelsea was a surprise win. They will be able to score 4 goals against an experienced team like Chelsea and it was unimaginable that they would win. However, Brantford's performance was very good. And Brentford's players have become more confident since beating Chelsea. They have beaten a strong team like West Ham. I think Brentford will also win against Manchester United.

Unbelievable with brentford last two match, success defeated Chelsea and West Ham United as top standing position team, next match have chance with 3 points because against with relegation team zone as Watford. I think have unique statistic with Brentford composition team player, when Cristian Eriksen play on first time he can make Brentford winning on last two match before. I think next match have chance for Brentford if play Eriksen on first time will win again.

It will certainly be surprising if Brentford beats Manchester United in the upcoming match on 2nd May. Although it is quite possible, if for MU the outcome of the match doesn't greatly affect, it will not make sense for MU to be zealous and they will better save their energy for a more meaningful game.

If we talk about Cristian Eriksen, then I would not focus so much on just one player. It should not be forgotten that football is still a team game and the team wins, not just one player. Although the above in no way diminishes Eriksen's merits to the team.

Some days back, I predicted that it was still possible that Manchester United may have a come back if they could win their next 3 matches but I was wrong, Ronaldo made it worse with that his angry behaviour and he even acted as if nothing happen, the response he gave on after the event wasn't necessary at all, sometimes, just apologise for the sake of peace. Everton that I least expect them to win or draw was the stockiest they lost to, it will be a slap on their faces if they didn't make it to ordinary Europa League.

this is a decline in performance for them now because indeed if you look at the last 2 seasons they can occupy the top 3 there but for now they are even struggling to break into the top 4 position there.
the problem is not about big names in my opinion because this can't be used as a benchmark if the brand can't manage this well. Even big names will be difficult to develop if there are indeed some holes that are still leaking there.

in the remaining games of the season I think it is very, very difficult for Manchester United to bounce back, the defeat against Everton last week of course will make them mentally slumped and also a lack of confidence because Everton are in a bad form and failed to win in the last few games but Manchester United couldn't beat them, it's a shame.

Norwich is completely poor and harmless as you said, no doubt about that but where my doubt lies is that there is no guarantee that Manchester United can win any club in English Premier league. It is not about the players and neither is it about the team, but it is about the club, there is a big problem in the club so there is no assurance that they can win any team.
Westham can win Burnley and Westham can also end the league ahead Manchester United.

Only if the players can drop their ego to play against Norwich. Manu has a remarkable squad but with their selfish game play mostly with Rashford the will keep conceding even to lesser teams. People didn't had any hope that they would be top 4 when Ole was managing the team, results were horrible, after that 5-0 loss to Liverpool everyone just decided to back off and just ignore it completely. However, it looks like they had a run after they sacked Ole and arsenal and Spurs had games missing so it looked like they were fourth for a while even though they weren't.

Between losing some games and other teams covering the game difference, it turns out that United is not that good at all, we knew this since we are not fans of the team, I am not even English so I do not care about any team there, which allowed me to see the reality.

With Manchester United you dont know what will happen. They cannot win against anyone and they need the wins really badly if they want europe this year. But as far as i see they are so far and i cant see any logic to see them playing in the champions league next season with how they are playing currently.

It seems that Manchester United fans also have thoughts like what you are saying at this time, the opportunity for Manchester United to play in the Champions League next season is still there but it looks quite difficult for them to get it, apart from having a  very bad performance so far, Manchester will also face several matches which is quite difficult and could hinder their steps in achieving victory in the rest of the season, I think United fans are starting to feel pessimistic about their favorite team and only hope that next season Manchester will come back better.
